The cappuccinos were great and the roast was a nice medium blend. Perfect for a quick cup of joe and danish

By far, the best latte I've ever had! Be sure to visit when you're on the yard. Employees are always wonderful.

Good coffee, limited options. Very convenient for locals that can access the Academy. Go through turnstile at Gate 3 on Maryland Ave.

A great Father's Day spot for brunch!…read more Ordered the strawberry avocado toast, which was unexpectedly delicious and refreshing! My husband had the smoked salmon avocado toast and it was so filling he couldn't finish it! We got the kid's meal for our child, which I'm assuming he enjoyed very much as well? He was speechless for sure the fresh-made poptart was pretty good! Many thanks to Huey for taking care of us! Our seating was upstairs with other families also there for Father's Day, but seating was much quicker than I thought :) It was a little pricey for two adults and a toddler, but it was worth the visit go check it out!

Went to Iron Rooster recently and overall had a really good experience. We started with the BBQ…read moreRooster Bites and they were honestly delicious. They are definitely lighter on the sauce, so if that's your preference these are perfect. Personally, I like my wings a little saucier, so I would probably ask for extra sauce next time. The chicken itself was fried perfectly and the portion size was pretty solid. For my main, I got the buffalo chicken wrap with no buffalo sauce and it was amazing. The lettuce, guac, and pico all tasted fresh and paired really nicely with the breaded chicken in the wrap. My only complaint with it is they go pretty light on the guac and pico, so I wish there was a bit more of both. The pricing overall was fair too and didn't feel over the top for the quality and portions. The fries that came with the wrap deserve their own mention because they were phenomenal. Crispy golden brown on the outside with a soft, fluffy inside. Honestly, I'd come back just for the fries alone. I requested outdoor seating when making the reservation and they have a really nice outdoor section with a great atmosphere and view. They did a good job with the space they had, but the tables are pretty close together, so you can hear basically every conversation around you. The chairs were also a bit smaller and not the most comfortable for longer seating. Service was great all around. Our server was very polite and even helped my very undecided sister choose her meal. Everyone was friendly and it definitely feels like a nice place to bring friends or family. My only real complaint, and honestly this applies to a lot of places nearby, is the parking. It was pretty rough. Other than that, definitely a place I'd come back to.

We had a really nice dinner here…read more We tried the mushroom appetizer and the old bay pierogies both were really good. The ribeye steak was fantastic and the sauce complimented it really well. For drinks we had the rum and gin. The gin drink was fruity and my favorite out of the two. The desserts I would give probably 3-ish stars. We had the almond cake and it didn't have much of a taste and the whip cream that came on the side must have been accidentally mixed with something that had processed onions because it had a really strong onion aftertaste. Our waiter was really nice and gave really good recommendations. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back to try out their lunch

We had made a reservation here for a Sunday brunch at 11. It wasn't overly busy when we came. This…read moreis in downtown Annapolis so there's some street parking around. Bright and open inside with friendly service. We ordered a handful of mimosas and got a couple of small bites to share. Sourdough Foccaccia - this was pretty good, warm and toasted. Pork Bites - I loved the flavor but thought this was pork belly and not ground pork. Overall, flavor was good but the texture wasn't great. Crispy Kale - this is very popular here and we really enjoyed it. The cumin yogurt really brought it together. Pickled Squid - Not what we expected but I actually really liked this dish. We did also order the Coconut Panna Cotta for dessert. The raspberry was pretty prominent here and wasn't as custard like as expected, just a little too soft but the flavor otherwise wasn't bad. Overall, everything was pretty good and I would visit again to try other items on their menu.

The food was simply amazing. We had the cornbread, fried green tomatoes, and deviled eggs to start…read more All of those were hits with our group. We also really appreciated the staff being conscientious of food allergies.our entrees were quite varied but the pancakes were as advertised, the skillet was savory and filling, and grits were perfectly cooked. I'm not usually in the area but I will definitely seek out a Miss Shirley's location anytime I'm around Annapolis or Baltimore.

Miss Shirley's Cafe is a brunch restaurant that puts their own spin to transform regular diner food…read moreinto something fun and delicious! Everything on the menu looked really good which made narrowing it down pretty difficult, but staff was very patient, kind, and attentive. We were shocked at how big the portion sizes were when the food arrived and were very glad we only ordered two dishes. The oreo-les pancakes came in a stack of 4 and the omelet was also quite huge! The pancakes were very fluffy and packed with oreos. The omelet with the gravy sauce was good, but the hashbrowns were under seasoned (they did have old bay and salt/pepper shakers on the table which was nice to have) and the biscuit was a little denser than I would prefer. Overall, the food was pretty good. There are tons of items we wished we could've ordered so we'd definitely come back to try other things! Again, service was great and that in itself deserves 5 stars!
