Got breakfast here one morning while in town. Bagels all kinds of ways, and this place is busy. It was packed the morning of our pass through. Walk up counter service with multiple lines going, in a minimalist metal front interior, with limited seating. Most take it to go. The menu boards are overhead. The Southern, scrambled egg with sausage and cheese on a jalepeno bagel, with a cup of coffee was my choice. From the time of ordering to receiving our bagels was less than ten minutes. This place hops and the line moves fast. The bagel was good and the coffee strong, both worked for me. 4 Stars a solid choice for breakfast, thats been around forever. 01110

We came here for breakfast while visiting Annapolis for a wedding and we loved this little spot! Delicious bagels, cozy atmosphere, fast service, it was great!!!

Best bagels ever!!! I love going to Naval Bagels right when they open. The staff are so friendly all the time. I personally think they put too much cream cheese on the bagels, so I like to get it on the side to put as much or as little as I want.

The bagels here are swoon-worthy. They're huge, super fresh with a crusty outside and chewy inside. Service was friendly & fast. The dining area & restrooms were very clean. Highly recommend.

Get the Super Jalapeño bagel. Toasted. Egg & Cheese. Add DELI Ham. It's the best breakfast sandwich in town. Something about that bagel (Super Jalapeno) makes it a chewier NY style than all others offered. I don't know what they do different. In any case. All the food is good. The coffee is great. The prices are fair. Give it a try!! I think the egg breakfast sandwiches are the best. The lunch sandwiches often seem smaller than I'd want for the price, but maybe I'm ordering wrong. They have had "Birria" on special lately, which is great.

Great spot for a quick breakfast or lunch in Annapolis! I got their power sandwich and added turkey on a plain bagel. Everything tasted really fresh! Service was very quick - in and out within 10 minutes for pick up (even on game day).

Naval Bagels is hands down one of my favorite breakfast stops in Annapolis. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome with their friendly, fast, and genuinely helpful service. Even during the morning rush, they keep things moving smoothly without ever making you feel rushed--just good energy all around. Now let's talk about the standout: the S'mores Bagel. It's not just a novelty item--it's incredible. Perfectly toasted with a gooey mix of marshmallow and chocolate, it tastes like a campfire treat turned breakfast masterpiece. It's indulgent without being over the top, and it's something I'd go out of my way to get again. If you're in the area and love a great bagel (or just want to try something fun and different), Naval Bagels is the place. Great food, even better service--can't recommend it enough.

This place is iconic in Annapolis. Just Across from Navy stadium. Delicious airy NY style bagels The northerner is delicious. Egg, bacon onion peppers & American cheese. With a smear of veggie cream cheese.. try it..:))) Or have a 9 multi grain everything bagel w/cream cheese. My two favorites.

I was in the area for an appointment and had some time to spare, needed to get something quick to eat, and looked up a place that wasn't too far from where I was, and this spot came up; it was literally around the corner! I arrived an hour before they were to close and wasn't quite sure as to what to get but my eye gravitated towards the "" power bagel sandwich it is made with cream cheese, mumster cheese, micro greens, and tomatoes. You are able to choose, which ever bagel you want , toasted or un toasted drinks our self serve while you wait and it didn't take long needless to say, the sandwich was quite huge and worth the price. If you are in this area, I highly suggest to come here for a quick bite. It wasn't crowded when I arrive, but then again it was an hour before they were to close.

We stopped into Naval Bagels on a suggestion before seeing the ECU Pirates take on the Navy Midshipmen for a noon time game. Knowing we would be in town early we wanted to grab something semi quick and tasty that wouldn't break the bank. Naval Bagels hit on all of those fronts. My son got a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a rainbow bagel and I got "The Bayhawk" which was also a bacon egg and cheese but add sausage and extra cheese and I got mine on an Egg Everything bagel. I was heavily skeptical getting a breakfast sandwich on a bagel in Maryland. Not to sound snobby on the topic but being from Brooklyn, and also eating a great deal of breakfast sandwiches often in North New Jersey, I know good bagels. Luckily, I was pleasantly surprised. Would I say this bagel would stand up to any from NYC or North NJ? No, not at all. However, it far surpassed my expectations of a bagel in Annapolis, so that was a great start. Nice fluffy scrambled eggs with some bacon and sausage couldn't hurt the cause either. Add in the touch of them carrying egg everything bagels (my favorite) and it lined things up quite nicely. This place was jamming super busy but the people working the counter were on top of everything very well. They were very friendly and worked with a quick demeanor that didn't make you feel rushed but also didn't make you feel like it was taking forever. Cost was exactly what you'd expect for these (I believe mine was 7 and change) and they also carried Mr. Brown's soda which is a huge deal to me as well. We will definitely stop back in here if we are in the area again (unless we hit Chick and Pete's next time which was another suggestion). Naval Bagels - Didn't Suck!

    Southerner and large coffee

Found this place while waiting for a Family member having a medical procedure in Annapolis. It was originally for coffee and then I saw the menu. Decided to get breakfast also and got a Southerner (Egg, Bacon and Cheese) on a sesame seed bagel. Simple, fresh and made to order. It was delicious. I got a chocolate croissant for my Family member and they loved it. Coffee was self serve and they even had Almond Milk (along with milk, and half and half). Reasonably priced and great food and coffee. I'll return when I come back for a follow-up medical visit. Staff was friendly and professional. The place was crowded but orders appeared to be done quickly... Highly recommend this place for breakfast and coffee.

I had to go grab a backpack, and when I returned 10 minutes later she ranted about how attentive to the table he was! They were busy(Saturday before Easter), but that attention to detail shined through the whole meal. Food came out spectacular, he remembered everything we asked for and was exceptionally patient with our 1.5 year old. Joshua made the experience wonderful, and made our anniversary even better. I had a mixed experience overall…read more I ordered the chicken and waffles. The fried chicken had good seasoning and flavor, which I did enjoy. However, the chicken was breast meat and sliced thin, which made it come across as dry. I did tell the server I liked it and didn't go into much detail since she seemed very busy and I didn't want to add stress in the moment. Still, it's not something I would personally order again. The waffle situation was more frustrating. I initially received cornmeal waffles, but I had told my server ahead of time that I strongly avoid cornmeal. She said she would substitute them, so I was surprised when the plate came out with the original cornmeal waffles. I didn't realize at first and ended up taking a bite before noticing. I let the server know and she had the kitchen remake it. The replacement Belgian waffles were overcooked and dense, so they didn't really improve the experience. The butter though was genuinely delicious, just very rich and more of a holiday-style flavor than something I'd personally crave in warmer weather. I also had a basic cup of coffee made with Rise Up Coffee Roasters, which was $4.50. That felt overpriced for what it was. I could have walked right across the street and had a specialty coffee from the source for very little extra cost, which honestly would have been the better choice. Overall, the experience had some clear issues, especially with the waffle mix-up and consistency, but it wasn't completely disappointing. I just don't think I would personally order the same meal again.

At Preserve, consistency is not the point, evolution is. Each visit feels slightly different,…read moreshaped by a menu that shifts with the seasons and refuses to coast on familiarity. That restlessness works in its favor. The space is compact, almost disarming at first. Then it settles around you. There is a quiet intimacy to the room, the kind that feels less designed and more lived in. It leans closer to a welcoming home than a polished dining room, without losing its sense of purpose. The food carries that same balance. Thoughtful, seasonal, and just unpredictable enough to keep you paying attention. Cocktails follow suit, measured and deliberate, never an afterthought. For Annapolis, where good options are not exactly rare, this place still manages to separate itself. It belongs firmly in the top tier of the city's dining scene, and it earns that position every time it changes the menu and starts over again.

Their cocktail menu has the spirit and then a description under of the drink. No actual names. Lots of interesting drinks. We grabbed a couple of apps. Got the pork bites and smoked fish dip. Both were tasty and had interesting flavors that worked. The portions were great. You can tell that great care and thought is put into to the menu. The burger and fries looked amazing - on special and lots of people around us were ordering it. Would have ordered that if we were eating a bigger meal. This is a gem of a place. I should take a step back, parking when driving east is literally right past the restaurant in the back. I personally think it's almost invisible that way, there is a sign but it looks like it's pointing to a grassy field (my SO felt the same way). I turned up further and U turned and it's more clear going west. The parking says free but the people caravaning with us got dinged for parking being free until 3 (we were there after that) which was not well advertised (SO only figured it out online) and there were no gates or cards when we went in free that I saw. I guess that's not really the restaurants fault but it did sour the experience a little and worth knowing getting there. Anyway, the waiting area is big but it's fairly narrow so if you're not on the bench you're sort of awkwardly standing in the middle of the entry area. But since it's big there wasn't any colliding with people unlike other places I've had to wait. There is outside seating but it was not available the day we were there despite it being 60-70s. Their menu has a good mix of breakfast and lunch foods. My first complaint is that a lot of the stuff is a lot. They don't have a lot of non-complex foods (e.g. plain hamburger) which may turn off some folks notably kids. That said their kids menu combo was pretty diverse itself, both kids with us seemed pleased. I got a pulled pork sandwhich with sweet potato fries. I also saw best pancakes in the country advertised so got 2 pancakes (apparently they have a short stack I did not see on either manu) which I felt was good to know. I was pleased with all my food, though it was understably messy. However, given the length of time it took to seat as well as eat, I did not think it was any better than IHOP or Dennys. So comparing price and boasting, does affect my rating. I suspect some of the price hike is location, perhaps they can afford to do that, they definitely had plenty of customers! NOTE: Usually I'll describe other peoples food but our party was big. No-one had any super remarkable praise or detraction which is another reason for the 3* leaning. If we had not been driving through, hungry and specifically targetted this place I'm not sure we would have stayed. When we left we were not hungry and were happy but I am hard pressed to give more than 3* since it didn't feel memorable just long and expensive. That said, 3 is average, I would eat there again if in the area or even recommend people to try. But I also know that strip has a ton of stellar foods, so...likely you could also find better places even for brunch :)
