Mini skillet calamari (December 2022 dinner)

Really nice local spot with fresh home made food cooked fresh for you. The portions are not huge, but the prices are very reasonable. If you show up at dinner time they have a few entrees, apps and specials that they don't have during the day. It is a really nice stop for either a quick healthy lunch or a nice dinner out that won't break the bank. Quality food at a reasonable price. Options to accomodate most diet restrictions as far as I can tell. Frequently changing specials right up on the chalk board you should check when you walk in. Just get yourself a side dish and appetizer if you have a big appetite.

If you are not looking for this place it is easy to miss it since it is in cluster of stores. I had the Southwest Chicken Sandwich with fries and a crab soup. The lunch was so affordable and tasted great. Not only a great price and great food, they have large potions. If you are in the area and hungry, you should try this place.

The food here is delicious. I'm talking about the real food. I wasn't sure about "The Chicken and Egg" Sandwhich when it came out BUT it was delicious. I expected a traditionally fried chicken but it was more breaded but done very well.Check it passed the test. The salad was just a salad but the portions are healthy so not bad at all. Would I go back? Yes I would. Atmosphere: nothing special but you can eat in and outdoors. Covid precautions: None! Bummer for me when the staff doesn't wear masks. I recommend ordering take out. I will say the staff was friendly and the menu had great options. And the bathrooms were clean. My other concern besides the lack of staff wearing mask during this crazy pandemic that we're all tired of: Stop!!! Do not, I repeat do not go here for the desserts they are NOT GOOD! We had the worse chocolate chip cookies we've ever had and the apple pie is seasoned with a personal touch meaning whoever makes these is the only person that loves them because I absolutely hated it! How American is in-American when you hate Apple Pie? Well I don't know because I love apple pie but this "stuff" deserves to be sent to the pits of H-E Double Hockey Sticks!! I can only recommend the Black Bottom when it comes to the sweet treats. Now with all that said I give the food here that is not dessert a 4, but the sweet treats to me were just NASTY which dropped my score to a three. I would go back but I would stay far far away from the so called sweet treats. My opinion, my truth, like it or not.

Really enjoyed our visit here, was an impulse due to the other restaurant we were going to visit being too crowded, but I'm glad we did. Really nice ambiance and outstanding service, and of course delicious food!

Eastport Kitchen features original recipes prepared expertly on site. Restaurant is tasteful and clean in appearance. My frequent choice is the crab soup and Southwestern chicken salad. Burgers in many forms are also excellent.

I love this place. It's local, fun, and the food is pretty simple but delicious. They have a fridge with fun, different sodas, a daily flavored lemonade, and fun specials. They're generally pretty quick* and always friendly. It's a fun, casual place to take guests, and I do love doing that. The only reason they get 4 instead of 5 stars is that it can get kind of chaotic near the register. You order at the register and go sit down if you're eating there (there is outdoor seating, btw), but if people order takeout and didn't order ahead, there's no place to wait, so they just mill about and sometimes you can't really even get to the register to order, which is annoying anyway but especially with Covid still being a thing. There needs to be a better system for folks waiting for takeout. *the most recent time we ate there, however, it took quite a while for our food to come out. Others who got there after us got their food first, and we hadn't ordered anything complex or off menu or anything. This normally does not bother me, I'm pretty patient, but my partner was on a lunch break from work and was feeling a bit stressed for time by the time our food actually arrived. As mentioned above, they are usually faster, so this isn't a big deal, but I think the next time we get lunch from them when he has to get back to work at a specific time, we'll call ahead and I'll go pick the food up to eat at home.

    Florentine Toast, Eastportorican, and fries

We stopped in for brunch on a busy Saturday. There's not a ton of seating, but we were able to grab a table. We got the Florentine Toast, the Eastportorican sandwich, and fries. Everything was great! Definitely appreciated the ease of parking, too.

Went for breakfast and even a better experience. Relaxing and welcoming. Awesome place for lunch and NOW opening for dinner a few days a week. Check their website or call for more information! I think it's Thurs-Saturday for dinner. Not a bad idea for a dinner date! We went on a Thursday and then returned on a Monday for carry out. Full menu to be honest - wine and beer too...woo hoo! I love the idea they have mimosas too! The owner (I think) was there and he was running the show but the friendly staff was very nice to deal with. We ordered off the menu at first but then we saw a shrimp salad sandwich being made behind the counter so my fiance immediately changed his order to that! It was delicious. The only downside is the seating was hard to get at around 1 PM on a Thursday. It was surprising. It's first-come first serve and you order first and then sit down. Not sure if it's polite to steal an empty seat before you order - but you could. All the customers were very chill and polite. Overall a great place. I want to give it 5 stars but need to go back a few more times. Check it out!

Great breakfast spot!! You're able to add or remove ingredients if needed which is great. Cod was perfect and not too overwhelming.

At Preserve, consistency is not the point, evolution is. Each visit feels slightly different,…read moreshaped by a menu that shifts with the seasons and refuses to coast on familiarity. That restlessness works in its favor. The space is compact, almost disarming at first. Then it settles around you. There is a quiet intimacy to the room, the kind that feels less designed and more lived in. It leans closer to a welcoming home than a polished dining room, without losing its sense of purpose. The food carries that same balance. Thoughtful, seasonal, and just unpredictable enough to keep you paying attention. Cocktails follow suit, measured and deliberate, never an afterthought. For Annapolis, where good options are not exactly rare, this place still manages to separate itself. It belongs firmly in the top tier of the city's dining scene, and it earns that position every time it changes the menu and starts over again.

This is a place that has lots of drinks and foods that have some unique and creative flavor profiles. We were greeted immediately and sat at bar. Server acknowledged us quickly and was very friendly. Checked on us throughout the time we were there. Ordered a tequila cocktail that was amazing. Highly recommend!!! So so good. Their cocktail menu has the spirit and then a description under of the drink. No actual names. Lots of interesting drinks. We grabbed a couple of apps. Got the pork bites and smoked fish dip. Both were tasty and had interesting flavors that worked. The portions were great. You can tell that great care and thought is put into to the menu. The burger and fries looked amazing - on special and lots of people around us were ordering it. Would have ordered that if we were eating a bigger meal. This is a gem of a place. Truly crafty food and drinks. Highly recommend trying them out. Would come back again.

I had to go grab a backpack, and when I returned 10 minutes later she ranted about how attentive to the table he was! They were busy(Saturday before Easter), but that attention to detail shined through the whole meal. Food came out spectacular, he remembered everything we asked for and was exceptionally patient with our 1.5 year old. Joshua made the experience wonderful, and made our anniversary even better. Thank you!

I had a mixed experience overall…read more I ordered the chicken and waffles. The fried chicken had good seasoning and flavor, which I did enjoy. However, the chicken was breast meat and sliced thin, which made it come across as dry. I did tell the server I liked it and didn't go into much detail since she seemed very busy and I didn't want to add stress in the moment. Still, it's not something I would personally order again. The waffle situation was more frustrating. I initially received cornmeal waffles, but I had told my server ahead of time that I strongly avoid cornmeal. She said she would substitute them, so I was surprised when the plate came out with the original cornmeal waffles. I didn't realize at first and ended up taking a bite before noticing. I let the server know and she had the kitchen remake it. The replacement Belgian waffles were overcooked and dense, so they didn't really improve the experience. The butter though was genuinely delicious, just very rich and more of a holiday-style flavor than something I'd personally crave in warmer weather. I also had a basic cup of coffee made with Rise Up Coffee Roasters, which was $4.50. That felt overpriced for what it was. I could have walked right across the street and had a specialty coffee from the source for very little extra cost, which honestly would have been the better choice. Overall, the experience had some clear issues, especially with the waffle mix-up and consistency, but it wasn't completely disappointing. I just don't think I would personally order the same meal again.
