Eggs Benedict and stuffed Boston Creme French Toast

Super cute spot right in the heart of Annapolis! They have outdoor patio, indoors downstairs and upstairs. We enjoyed the view from the windows upstairs. They have so many awesome options for breakfast and lunch! We had brunch, and enjoyed the new waffle tacos and French toast, along with eggs Benedict. Service was kind and attentive, always refilling the coffee cups! This spot was great. Only metered street parking here.

Thoroughly enjoyed the food and service at this location. The atmosphere was truly welcoming and staff were super kind. The food was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed our time.

It was a hot day and there was no wait for an outdoor table so we took it. They have done a great job providing shade on the patio. Service was friendly and efficient. Location was really happening with a street market going on right outside. Brunch cocktail menu was amazing, had a hard time choosing. The vodka blueberry lemonade cocktail I had was perfect for a hot summer day. My husband had a coffee cocktail that was delicious. Let's talk about the crab omelette. OMG. They did not skimp on crab or any of the ingredients. I'm an omelette snob and generally prefer making my own but this one was top tier. I live about an hour from this restaurant and would gladly drive back for another crab omelette.

We dined at Iron Rooster in Annapolis and absolutely loved it! The decor is so homey and comforting, it honestly feels like you're sitting in your grandma's kitchen! They're a scratch country kitchen that specializes in breakfast, and you can really taste the freshness in the food. When we visited on 01/17/26, the weather outside was freezing cold and even hailing, so this ended up being the perfect cozy breakfast spot for us! The restaurant was super packed, but they still managed to accommodate us quickly, which we really appreciated! Breakfast Egg Rolls: These were filled with bacon, sausage, egg, and cheddar, and served with an aioli sauce that honestly tied the whole dish together! They were perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. This ended up being my husband favorite thing here! Pork Belly & Grits: Fresh thick cut of pork belly, served over a bed of creamy cheddar grits and drizzled with a sweet mustard sauce. The pork belly was crispy and rich, and the grits were smooth and comforting! Smoked Brisket Chili Omelet: This omelet was loaded with smoked brisket and chili, topped with cheddar, sour cream, green onions, and tortilla chips. It was served with fries, but we substituted sautéed mushrooms. Homemade Pop-Tarts: These thick, chunky homemade pop-tarts were actually the main reason we came here! They were highly recommended to us, and we honestly loved ordering them as an appetizer. We tried one with Nutella and bananas and another with candied bacon. Both were served warm with whipped cream and were absolutely delicious! They are a little on the sweeter side, but definitely worth trying! Irish Wake-Up Call (Irish Coffee): This drink was made with Jameson, RumChata, brown sugar vanilla simple syrup, house-made cold brew, whipped cream, and cinnamon. It was smooth, slightly sweet, and the perfect drink to start the morning!

Received recommendations from three people about Iron Rooster, and I am so happy that I listened, because it certainly was a terrific visit on a busy Saturday afternoon. Two floors along with an outside option. Parking a challenge, but that's the Historic District. Liked their Southwest Bowl a lot, and topped it with chicken. Service was really good from Gabby. Pricing fair. Cool interior. Comfortably crowded environment.

Off-tourist season in downtown Annapolis doesn't get much better than grabbing an outdoor table and having a strong drink and good apps at Iron Rooster. HITS: Lump crab dip, Rooster bites, Bloody Mary

What a great spot for brunch! The service was smooth once we were seated. There was a little shouting match between a couple of the hosts when we were walking in but it didn't really bother us. The food here was spot on. This is the first place I've tried chicken and waffles where I think I finally understand the appeal. We also ordered the crab cake Benedict which was delicious. Packed with crabmeat

Cute brunch spot with outdoor seating. There was a wait, as expected for a Saturday. We asked for a table for three, but the host assumed the baby was the third and took us to a two-top. When we clarified that we had three adults, he gave us a lecture about how we miscommunicated, which was unnecessary and poorly handled. Fortunately, the rest of the visit was smooth. Our server was great, and the food was solid. The crab stuffed avocado salad was a bit mayo-heavy, but had good flavor.

I loved me some Iron Rooster! Perfect location right in the heart of things by the waterfront downtown. Was like a 4 minute walk to the Naval Academy for our tour and we walked down to have breakfast first. They have tons of seating outside and inside and no wait to be seated when we arrived for breakfast. Service was prompt and efficient. Their menu is loaded with goodies. We tried a crab soup (tomato base), a pop tart and their breakfast quesadilla. The berry pop tart came out first like an appetizer and it was HUGE and so delicious. They have features pop tart flavors that rotate monthly so be sure to ask, but we went with the old faithful mixed berry and found it to be warm, savory and delicious. My breakfast quesadilla was huge and stuffed with onions, tomato, eggs, cheese and chorizo. It was served with house potatoes and they were wonderful too. I want to come back just to eat this! Hubs enjoyed his soup. 100% recommend if you are in town. Their lunch/dinner fare looked delicious too!

We came here for breakfast while visiting and we did like the ambiance but the food was really not too tasty. I think we all felt a little bit of a let down with our dishes. And we thought it was very strange that my sisters iced coffee was served in a plastic soda cup. Def not what you want to drink iced coffee out of. The poptart was okay. Not sure I would come back here

Some friends & i were excited to have brunch here, it looked nice with a great menu but before we even got sat we were getting looked up and down from the staff... not sure if it was racial as we are a diverse group of friends but off the bat felt a little uncomfortable. We pushed on and our server was "selective" with us - by that i mean that she was very interactive with the other tables around us, engaged in conversations and even tone was nicer but with us it was straight forward flat & non engaging. The food was overall okay, it all LOOKED so good but the flavor was lacking. Oddly enough our food took much longer than others around us. My partner got the Mick's Griddle with home fries - it was as expected... good in size but the flavor was just egg, sausage and cheese. I got the Bagels & Lox which came out last of the food for our table which is odd because a simple bagel you wouldn't think would take so long with roasted potatoes- i was so disappointed with the ratio of cream cheese on the bagels as it barely had any on it. The flavor was ok i definitely have had better elsewhere. My friend got the Chicken & Waffles - the chicken was spectacular! Really good seasoning on it and was flavorful but unfortunately the waffle was just so dry. Overall it was okay, probably wouldn't go back as we are not from the area anyways.

How far is the parking garage and how much is it to park there?

Hello! When we went this past spring 2022, we just parked in the metered parking near the water and walked across the street to the restaurant. I don't know of any "parking garage" sorry.

    Is there parking located on-site?

They don't have a parking lot but there is a lot of public parking. Most of the public parking is meter parking so you'll have to pay a few dollars.

Dogs allowed in the outside seating?

Yes. Currently there is a bunch of outside seating between the restaurant and the Market House.

Is there a bottomless drink option for brunch?

Sydney C. - Pretty certain that they don't do bottomless ... but they do have happy hour from 7am-10am weekdays. Which has $5 mimosas.

Full On Craft Eats. The Toast online ordering system was easy to navigate and adorned with pictures of every menu item. I could not get past the onion rings on the starter menu hoping they would taste as good as they looked. My friend offered to split the Slammin Salmon sandwich and onion rings since she has had it before and never finished the entire thing. I took her up on it and the order was placed. A quick ask for mom to grab it on the way home and the food made its way back quickly. WOW is all I can say. When you order food to go there is a level of expectation that it will not be as good as it is at the restaurant, especially fries and onion rings. But in this instance WOW. Talk about food that travels well. Fourteen minutes away and the food was still warm, the onion rings were so crisp, and the garlic and dill aioli and onion ring sauce were just right. The Slammin Salmon was served on ciabatta bread that was not too soft not too hard, with salmon cooked perfectly. The lemon dill aioli was a game changer so much that my friend's advice to order extra was well received and committed to memory. The onion rings lived up to the hype, cooked perfectly with a crust I cannot even explain. The kind you bite into without losing the entire onion from the breading. Dip it into the sauce and you have a match made in heaven. Half the sandwich was more than enough but the next day I would have loved some leftovers. Now for the extra razzle dazzle. I left to visit a friend in DC and sent him the menu, shared my experience and he was locked in to try. Online ordering was closed since they were closing at 10pm so I called as a last-ditch effort since the anticipation was already there. The nicest most warm individual answered ten minutes before closing and was more than happy to take my order. She even made sandwich recommendations. I quickly arrived at a shopping center that was easy to get in and out of. Walking in you immediately arrive at the counter and takeout area to your left with a nice bar area a short walk past on the right. The cooks and wait staff were having the best time using the 6/7 saying that was all over social media late last year. They were considerate when they noticed I was in the restaurant, but I assured them I loved their energy. I see why the food is so good because the energy shows it was made with great vibes and laughter all around. As I grabbed the bag to leave the hostess stopped me to add another fork and extra napkins since I would need them to add the pickled veggies on my sandwich. Such a nice touch. Thirty plus minutes to DC and the food still did not need to be reheated. The Mai Thai sandwich was a hit with flavors that married well and the onion rings delivered again. The Spicy Thai wings were good for wings but typical. They had a lot to compete with.
