Such a fun speakeasy in Downtown Annapolis. The prices are a bit high but well worth it for the great cocktails, bartenders, and ambiance.

Solid late night bites! Dry 85 did not disappoint when we walked in on a weeknight around 8pm. It's dark and perfect for a date night or catching up with friends. The service was great and we loved the bourbon BBQ wings, grits, fries, and ribs! The whiskey selection was extensive. Cocktails and mocktails were also delicious.

Great burger. Not a great picture... but what great flavor.

Come for Brian. Stay for the food. Seriously have not run across a very warm friendly bartender in so long who is also incredibly skilled at his craft and wants to share the methods with you. Brian's drinks are works of art, and he's just generally a really nice guy. We got an appetizer and some burgers. I'm not usually a go-to burger guy but these were fantastic. Incredible flavor. Cooked perfect. Crisp bacon. Would recommend. Sides and Brussels sprouts great also.

Service here was prompt and friendly! They didn't rush us to put our order in The atmosphere was casual, dimly lit, like a more polished pub (no TVs). I came here on July 4th for an early dinner! My favorite by far from this lineup was the chicken wings. The pomegranate wings sound weird but just trust me, they were so tasty! Seafood Mac and cheese was good but I think needed just a little bit more flavor. And the cookie skillet was gooey and sweet--no complaints here I love a good Overall I'd eat here again if I were in the neighborhood!

Visiting Annapolis for the weekend and decided to pop in for a few drinks! They are delicious, but be warned-- very alcohol forward! We sat at the bar but noticed there was plenty of seating inside. Our bartender was quick to help us and overall we had a great experience!

Great time in Annapolis Dry 85 was across the street from Annapolis ice cream and my wife was pretty hungry so I checked out Yelp to see if there were any available spots that had burgers and low and behold we found Dry 85. Dry 85 is a bourbon bar that sells food at an affordable price. They have over 100 different bourbons and the drinks looked good but that day we focused on just the food. The bar is dark, and lowkey quiet definitely more on the masculine side. I ordered the honey glazed salmon salad with lemon vinaigrette goat cheese green tomatoes spinach and kale. This was delicious and refreshing. I truly enjoyed this salmon. The spinach and kale was crisp and the vinaigrette added a summer tanginess to the salad. Can you believe this was only $16? Our waitress was nice and friendly and answered every question we had. I will definitely be back to try a cocktail since bourbon is indeed my favorite.

A few weeks ago I found myself in an Annapolis hotel on a Sunday morning with a Renaissance Faire hangover craving the only thing that ever seems to cure this affliction. I quickly searched "bacon near me" and this was the closest option that popped up on Google. Bacon Brunch?! Say less, I'm in! The prohibition vibe is awesome and they're really detail oriented. I even enjoyed the historically informative menu. Fun AND educational! Food was great, I had the Benedict and my husband had the charcuterie dish. Hair of the dog did not disappoint! Bacon bloodies were tasty and I'm surprised this place wasn't more packed for brunch time. At one point we were the only ones in the restaurant. I'm not too familiar with the area and maybe this is the slow season, I do not know. It did start to fill up when we were leaving but would definitely come back!

Awesome place for food and drinks! Get in here and peruse a REAL bourbon and whiskey selection. It's stunning how many top shelf ones they have on hand. The food was amazing too! We decided to have one burger and split it with three of their appetizers to share as well. They had mushroom soup that was delicious and creamy as well as savory. We had the seafood Mac and cheese that was truly a wonderful dish. We also had hand cut fries with truffle oil, we also had street corn tots with Queso fresco, creama, corn and cheese on top. Overall it was a great experience and we'd do it again. It was full on the Thursday night we went during the midnight madness, so they took our cell number and let us continue to go in other shops while we waited for our table

Came across Dry85 while walking through Annapolis. I love a cocktail bar , so I was excited to grab some drinks. We started with the Lavender Fields and the Presidente. Both were solid choices. For our 2nd drinks, we asked our bartender, Danielle, for her recommendations and she showed out! She was happy to make us her off menu specialies using our preferred liquor. Both were hits! I took off 1 star because it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us when we came in and sat at the bar. I can definitely be understanding of a busy restaurant, but a simple acknowledgement and handing a menu off can go a long way. Once Danielle got behind the bar , we were good to go.

The spot in Annapolis to get a whiskey cocktail or neat. Every classic was on the menu. Bartender seemed super knowledgeable. Mac and cheese was super hearty but didn't taste overly cheesy. Fried pickles were fresh with a little zest.

It's supposed to be a wine bar, I guess, and the wine is their main focus, though they are also apparently well known for their pizzas. Despite it being busy, we were seated pretty quickly in the back area, and were served quickly. Our waitress was great, and offered a lot of good drink and food suggestions. I love the way the wine is broken down. They've got three categories, which are snarky grouping by price. I am drawing a blank on the names of the categories, and they're not on the website, so .... they were something like, "Wallet Friendly Wines," "I can splurge a little," and "Money is no object to wine!" Theirs were probably better and more creative -- dock me one star as a reviewer for not remembering. :) The wines were good. I tried two different ones, including an unusual "orange" wine, which is a white wine left to contact the skins. It was a little fruitier than I usually like in a white wine, but it was good still. The food for me was where it fell down. I ordered a charcuterie plate, which was honestly kind of skimpy for the price. I also got a burrata, which is served with "harissa roasted carrots." The harissa was incredibly spice forward, and... burrata is a delicious, but delicate cheese. The carrots and harissa basically contaminated it and overpowered it. They might as well have dipped it in coriander and cumin. That's fine if you want to eat coriander and cumin, but not if you want burrata. My pizza was the biggest let down. It's a "rustic" style pizza, but it frankly translates to "poorly made." It's a good size, roughly oval pizza, with very thin, crispy crust. Like a giant cracker. It's then cut into 16 pieces (give or take, don't quote me). Some of those pieces had /nothing/ on them. Like, just crust. No cheese. No sauce. No toppings. Others had just sauce. I'm not a big fan of pizza, but when I eat it, I expect every piece to have sauce, cheese, and toppings on it... if I wanted to eat just crust, I'd just ask for a pile of aperitif crackers. Great atmosphere, good drinks, fair price, but ... terrible food. If I lived nearby, I'd stop by for a drink now and again, but I wouldn't eat there.

They have a lovely outdoor patio space that was covered with space heaters for the winter, and I can only imagine how great it will be in the summer. The service was great throughout. I wanted to make sure I got a wine that paired well with our meal so the server recommended I order the wine after the food so she could give me a recommendation. We ordered a charcuterie board, glazed carrots with burrata, and the spotted pig pizza. The server recommended a Sangiovese to pair, and it was an excellent choice. It tasted really good with everything. The charcuterie board was good but honestly a little skimpy on the bread and apples so not every bite was evenly distributed. I enjoyed the burrata - it was a really interesting mix of Italian and Indian/Middle Eastern flavors that was unique and different. The pizza was also good but like the charcuterie board, the toppings were not evenly distributed so there were some bites with everything, and some bites that only had sauce or cheese. It is thin crust so if you do not like thin crust, you may not be a fan. I am a thin crust fan, so I enjoyed it overall!

However, the chicken was breast meat and sliced thin, which made it come across as dry. I did tell the server I liked it and didn't go into much detail since she seemed very busy and I didn't want to add stress in the moment. Still, it's not something I would personally order again. The waffle situation was more frustrating. I initially received cornmeal waffles, but I had told my server ahead of time that I strongly avoid cornmeal. She said she would substitute them, so I was surprised when the plate came out with the original cornmeal waffles. I didn't realize at first and ended up taking a bite before noticing. I let the server know and she had the kitchen remake it. The replacement Belgian waffles were overcooked and dense, so they didn't really improve the experience. The butter though was genuinely delicious, just very rich and more of a holiday-style flavor than something I'd personally crave in warmer weather. I also had a basic cup of coffee made with Rise Up Coffee Roasters, which was $4.50. That felt overpriced for what it was. I could have walked right across the street and had a specialty coffee from the source for very little extra cost, which honestly would have been the better choice. Overall, the experience had some clear issues, especially with the waffle mix-up and consistency, but it wasn't completely disappointing. I just don't think I would personally order the same meal again.
