This is a quaint little breakfast place where you can sit, eat, and look at the water. There's not a lot of seating so I would definitely going on a weekday or get there early. There's some bar stools overlooking the water and two tables (so you can imagine how small the place is). The staff was friendly and very helpful, when I visited the owner happened to be there and was super nice. I think this will definitely be my new spot to work when I'm tired of working from home. The food was delicious and made fresh (the owner told me she made the chicken herself and it was her recipe). I will definitely be back. read more

This little spot has outdoor seating with great views. You can get your breakfast here or your lunch....or both. (Ice Cream too!!) I ordered ahead and had to try the chicken breakfast sandwich, I also ordered the silver dollar pancakes and sausage. Overall the process of ordering the meal was easy, it was ready when I picked it up, and when I ate it, it was good. I wouldn't rant and rave about the food but it was genuinely good and I would go back again to try a new dish from the menu. read more

Fun place right by the docks that's perfect for grabbing a breakfast or lunch right before heading out on the water. If you're doing the Electric Boat rentals, this really is right by where they are. This past October I got lunch to eat before we left. The veggie bowl was a good healthy mix and enjoyable. I got the buffalo grilled cheese and was impressed, though it could use more blue cheese. The kids were happy with the soup and grilled cheese. We also ordered a platter for our electric boat trip. This turned out really well, with an assortment of fruits, veggies and cheeses. Everyone was happy with it, and we even had left overs after. It wasn't cheap, but we did get a lot. My only complaint was that when I called in I was told we could get hot chocolates. They wouldn't be the fancy ones they do in the winter, but I said that was okay. The birthday girl really wanted hot chocolate. When I got there, and tried to order them I was told they don't do them, and when I brought up the conversation I was first out told I was wrong. "I'm sorry, I'm not sure why you were you told that" would go a long way. We ended up sending my in-laws on a walk to a local coffee shop that had incredible hot chocolate and still made our departure time, so it turned out okay, but I still feel like it's worth noting. I would still come back, and if I ever rent those boats again, wouldn't dream of doing it without a platter from here to class up the adventure. read more

New and hot brunch place by the water! My fiancé and I wanted to go somewhere near the water so we picked one of brunch places that Yelpers' been recommending. The location is right by the water. They did not have dine in but they have outdoor seatings. It was after the rainy day so there weren't many people during the cold season, but we definitely thought this would be a popular spot if it was warmer vacay season. The food is decent but like homemade so I liked it very much. The staffs are really friendly and nice that they even helped us clean the seatings. It was fun experience though. I would hope that they can survive through this pandemic so that everyone can enjoy what they can offer. Recommended! read more

I was in town for a conference and had seen a tik tok from Monica and so I had to come and try this place. Italian sandwich was amazing and I'm always a huge fan of homemade chips. The B&B dock slip sign states 1 hour maximum...this is a problem because it takes longer than 1 hour to even get your food! We ordered inside at the counter mid-morning...it was a busy Saturday. This is our first time to this establishment and it definitely won't be out last! When you check the word "delicious", you'll find this restaurant! Kids got grilled cheese and chicken tenders. Both come with housemade chips and a small container of fruits. Fruits are like pineapple, grapes... The parents got their chicken cheesesteak. I was worried I wouldn't like it with it being lemon chicken and I was wrong. It was so good. Worth the try! Blueberry basil lemonade is my new favorite! Seats are mostly outside. You order at the counter and take a table number tag and they bring your food to wherever you sit. The weather was perfect. The food was all really good I had the scrambled hash and turkey bacon. A great spot for anyone to have breakfast or lunch near the water but especially, outstandingly welcoming to families with little kids. Thanks to the owner for hooking us up with sidewalk chalk, crayons, extra fries, and many smiles/well wishes. Our food was delicious, too! Amongst us we got: chipotle chicken bowl with quinoa, cod sandwich, chicken tenders, and some drinks. I just want to start by saying this place is absolutely a hidden gem, and I'm so happy they are on door dash now!!! (they might have been on doordash sooner but I only just recently saw you could doordash them the other week and I was absolutely thrilled.) Here's all the positives: (1) THE STAFF: They are always cheerful and fun and it seems like they have garnered a good work environment, at least from an outsiders perspective. Every employee I have ever encountered has always been helpful and kind, and goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy! (2) THE FOOD: oh. my. god. the food. it's DELICIOUS, seriously I've never had a bad dish there. If you're a fan of egg sandwiches, I'd recommend the BBK and get it on sourdough! It always tastes fresh, flavorful and if I could eat one every day I swear I would. (3) THE SERVICE: I know in this day and age we are all looking for things to get done at inhuman speeds, but this place is quick! Even when it gets busy (and it sure does!) you're never waiting longer than 15 minutes for your food to come out or be ready to go. My closing notes: I could rave on and on about this place, I always tell people who are visiting Annapolis that they absolutely have to try it. The only thing that might be slightly negative that I have to say is it is a little bit small, HOWEVER there is outdoor seating. So if you're looking to come here with a huge group, don't expect seating to be available for all at one table. In my opinion that doesn't really matter because it's the perfect place for takeout during the winter and a sublime spot to go for a quick bite during the summer! We came here on a Sunday early afternoon while visiting our grandkids stopped in to get breakfast. They have a separate room where you can go sit and order from your phone and they bring the food. The food literally came cold, including the bacon and the eggs. The guy came in, dropped our food at our table and left and when we asked about the drinks that never showed up, he said we had to go next-door and get our own drinks at the self serve coffee bar, and our drinks out of the refrigerator. When we ordered they prompted for a tip had I known we were gonna have to do all our own service I probably wouldn't have tipped. When I went over next-door to ask, I literally had to wave down one of the 10 people standing in the kitchen to ask about the orange juice that I ordered because there was none in the refrigerator. They said that they were out however, I paid probably two dollars more than a little carton of chocolate milk that I got instead of it and nobody came to check and see if our food was good or anything. I think if you were gonna get this food delivered to your house or maybe if you sat in the other room where the kitchen is it might be better, but there's literally no signs on the wall or anything. Got the biscuits and gravy. Fresh biscuits with chorizo gravy on the side and 2 eggs were delicious. Had a tiny bit of spiciness which was perfect. Venture inside to place your order then find a table outside and they will bring your order to you. GF is a welcome find here and for breakfast items to boot. Order the Scones, your welcome. Pt 1/3 (continued in screenshots): The experience my friends and I had at Bread and Butter Kitchen today began as merely frustrating and quickly devolved into what could only be described as racist. My friend is vegan and this restaurant describes itself as vegan-friendly, so my friend asked a staff member if she could substitute a vegan egg for a real egg in an omelet. The staff member said it couldn't be made into an omelet, but could be made into a scramble. My friend agreed and said that sounded great. She also requested for her toast to be served dry with no butter - again, because she's vegan. My other friend ordered a BLT. When our food arrived, we noticed there was butter on the bread so she brought it in to show the staff. The staff said it was olive oil (it clearly wasn't - it was white with foam on it) but after some convincing, they served us bread with vegan butter on the side. Then, my friend looked down at what was supposed to be her vegan egg scramble and saw she had been served a real egg omelet. We took a bite of the omelet which confirmed that it was made from real egg. Once again, she brought the food back in to be replaced. When she went back into the restaurant, the owner Monica was already acting inconvenienced and upset by our request. Finally, while we were waiting for the vegan egg dish, my friend took a bite of her "BLT" and found it was actually a completely different sandwich that had cheese, eggs, and avocado. At this point, rightfully, we were frustrated. Once again, my friend had to go back inside to let Monica know that her food was incorrect. Even though it was a frustrating experience, we get it - mistakes happen. But the way we the customers were treated for the restaurant's mistakes was something I've never experienced in my life at any restaurant. Monica started making comments to my friend about how she "needed to stop making such a big deal of it," that it was "just food" and that she was "scaring people" by being so "aggressive" at her "family restaurant." This is when the incident began to turn racial. My friend is a Black lesbian, and it goes without saying that Monica would not have been using that language with someone who was not Black. My friend came back outside and sat down at our table to wait for our food. While we were waiting, we were discussing what had happened and were (once again, rightfully) growing increasingly upset at how we were being treated. Monica accused us of lying about ordering a vegan omelet and said the other customers in the restaurant didn't hear us ordering a vegan meal and said we ordered a "veggie omelet," which of course, didn't happen. Since when do restaurant owners survey their other customers about conversations that happened between the staff and a customer? When Monica heard us discussing how upset we were, she took away all of our food, packed it up in a to-go bag, and told my friend to leave, otherwise she was going to call the cops. Once again, it goes without saying that threatening to call the cops on a Black lesbian for growing increasingly frustrated at being told that her request to get the food she ordered "wasn't that big of a deal" is racist. Plain and simple racism, there's no getting around it. When we pointed this out to Monica and said she was being racist, she repeatedly kept saying that she couldn't possibly be racist because she's won community awards and because her husband is Puerto Rican, as if someone in a mixed-race relationship is absolved from any racism. Monica began to escalate the conversation by pointing her fingers at us, raising her voice, slamming down a silverware holder, and clapping in our faces. read more

The potatoes, hash browns, were just partially boiled potatoes. You have to walk up to the counter to order then go outside and wait. And, they ask for a tip when I ordered. Delicious food with a nice view! The hippie hash is absolutely delightful to pair with the perfectly toasted and buttered sourdough. My husband enjoyed his egg and cheese omelet, chorizo, and pancakes. Vegans: my sister-in-law wasn't a huge fan of the vegan (plantfare) version of the salsa de huevos, so she ended up getting a scone. The weekends can get crowded, so be prepared for a wait. It's worth it! There is outdoor seating, which may be preferred over the inside which can get cramped with people waiting to order food. read more

What an amazing experience. I needed substance as I was leaving a meeting in DC and heading over the bridge to Rehobeth. I decided to stop in Annapolis for lunch. I always search on yelp and after a few recommendations that seemed expensive and too time-consuming to get to I chose this great breakfast spot off the beaten path. This is on the other side of Annapolis and the parking is free and the people aren't pretentious. I got a lot of looks as I often stick out for reasons I'm sure you can see. But it was pleasant and the food came out quickly. The views were epic and the flavor was on point. I heard that you can take the boat to the tourist area for around $5 and they have live music on the weekends. They don't have much indoor seating so when it's cold you should be prepared to take it to go. This is a great place, with great food, and amazing views! read more

The space is small and cozy. Good service for the tight space. The food was good, the ice coffee and the blueberry basil tea was great! Only issue was that one the servers was sneezing in his hand, rubbing his nose and touching the food and yelling at customers. While I am an advocate for people with disabilities, they can too learn to provide great service and having a disability cannot be the reason for lack of correction for that individual. Sandwich arrived w homemade chips. Chips are thick and a bit oily but tasty. Sandwich was tasty also, but the grilled cod was a small piece of fish, just 4 or 5 ounces? Even a bit more cod would have meant fewer bites w no cod in them. The garlic aioli was the high point of the sandwich, but the bites w aioli but no cod were disappointing. Nice cafe.
