I stopped in here on a weekday around 3:30 pm. It wasn't busy at all at that time, but there was still a steady flow of people coming in. No wait to order, and the food took maybe about 5 minutes to come out while it was being made. On my 2 visits I ordered sandwiches: a Turkey Reuben (my favorite of the 2) and a Corned Beef Pastrami Reuben, both with Russian dressing, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut. Each came with fries, coleslaw, and a dill pickle. The portions were on point -- definitely a lot of food for the price -- and the quality really stood out. Everything tasted fresh and well put together, and the menu has a really big selection, which is always a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the place itself was very clean. Noise level was moderate, lighting was good with a mix of natural and fluorescent light. There is seating available, but from what I've seen, most people grab their food and go. The location is convenient too, sitting right around the corner from Annapolis High School. Overall, I don't really have anything negative to say -- I like it just how it is. Greasiest breakfast sandwich I ever was served. Ordered two egg and cheese on rye and one coffee. Somehow that bill came to $22. and change. Egyptian young man, he made sure I knew that, certainly needed a sounding board and since I was the only one in the place I became his new best friend. If I recall accurately, the stories started in the early 1970's and ended in the present! The egg sandwiches were so greasy I had to toss the bread and just eat the egg. Simply looking for a little breakfast on this Sunday morning...met a nice young man, he said from Egypt, 28yo. Apparently normal hours M-F, but started opening on weekends to test the business. Small place, limited seating, def a used space but clean. Close quarters upon entry, place your order, pay, grab a seat. Menu is extensive. Food came out in to-go containers/wrappers, in a bag. Looks like intended to be a take-out place. Food was excellent. I brought half of my Meat Lovers omelette and home fries, home. Definitely glad to have stopped in during our home hunting trip to Annapolis. They offer eat in and dine out. The customer service was top notch. Since it was our first time in, the gentleman at the counter was very informative and super friendly. The expansive menu is available ALL day-from breakfast sandwiches to smoothies and wraps to platters. Before ordering, we were offered a sample of the strawberry banana smoothie. It was delicious, so we ordered it plus a Pina Colada smoothie. We chose the gyro with fries, a Cuban sandwich, and a pastrami sandwich to go. The food here is so incredibly tasty! This place has salads with organic quinoa and salmon, absolutely amazing omelettes, smoothies that are so healthy and delicious. They have a passion for cooking and you can taste it in every dish they serve. Their fries have a unique flavor and their chicken Caesar has a dressing that's made in house, yum! Normally, I like this place, but I am not sure what happened. I was told to come in 15 min. I got there on the dot, but my order hadn't even started yet. It took another 20 min. I usually love their chocolate chip cookies, so I got one. He said it was his last, so I should make sure to warm it up in the microwave. That should have been my second clue. The first clue was that he was the only employee in the restaurant...to do everything, which explained why I was still waiting. When I got back to my office, my first disappointment was that most of my fries were just crumbs. None of the larger fries were bigger than 1/4 inch, and they were all cold and very hard. In the past, their fries were 3-4" and always hot. I threw most of them away. I though at least I have a cookie. It was as hard as a hockey puck. I followed his instructions and thought the microwave would do the trick. I put it in for 15 sec., but before the timer went off, the microwave was smoking. Now I am sitting in my office on the coldest dat of the year with the door and two office window propped open to clear the air so the smoke detector will stop ringing. I have driven by this place many times and even pulled in to eat here, but never made it in the door due to my favorite pho soup place being in the area. Glad I did today, got a pretty nice Philly cheese steak sandwich and an order of fries for less than 10 dollars. I never judge a Philly steak by those I have in Philly so I would keep that in mind when you come into this place. The steak sandwich was very flavorful, it was loaded with onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and provolone cheese. The bun was nicely toasted and the over sandwich mouth appeal was 3.5 out of 5. The fries are nothing special although they where frozen fries that cooked up nicely. I am a fan of the large menu of sandwiches and salads, pretty much anything you could want under one roof. This corner cafe is a little family owned mom and pop shop. You can tell they really care about the customer satisfaction. FYI it looks a little worn but they're revamping! Food was yummy and if it wasn't the staff was more than willing to fix it. They even gave us a sample of some delicious shrimp. We stopped in because it was the only place open after stopping at the MVA and I'm glad we did! My cheesesteak and fries were yummy. Place looks empty when walking in but overall good food. My only issue is pricing. The custom breakfast wrap was $21 alone. I added hashbrowns which was an extra $4+ . Plus my smoothie. Bottom Line: A simple sandwich shop serving breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices. If I lived or worked near Corner Cafe I would be a regular. They have sandwiches made with Boar's Head meat and simple entrees. They also have salads and smoothies. It's not gourmet but it's satisfying and the employees are friendly. Most people seem to get their meal to go but they do have some tables inside and even a few outside. For beverages, they have coffee, Coca-Cola fountain sodas and various bottled drinks. read more

Stopped in to pick up lunch. What a find! They were super helpful with recommendations and really proud of the food they make. We tried the falafel, chicken cheesesteak and baklava. The falafel was excellent. The chicken steak is not traditional- meaning it's more chunky than steak like- but still delicious. And the crunch/flavor of the baklava was perfect. Amazing little place we found when in town for a wedding. We took advantage of the all day menu for a mid day brunch. They promised great falafels. I never thought of a falafel egg breakfast sandwich, but it delivered in awesomeness! Portions were generous for the price. The salads WERE HUGE, the fries falling off the plate. Terrible food terrible service I ordered food to be delivered and specified what I wanted added to the hamburgers....for example pickles and tomatoes. They 'slapped' everything onto the burgers including mayonnaise and onions, it was so messy and thrown together that we ended up throwing the whole meal away. I got some takeout from here thanks to a glowing review from my mother-in-law and boy oh boy was she right! This place is a great quick stop for a simple but delish sandwich. I got a chicken and avocado panini and my husband got their reuben sandwich (which also came with fries). I was pleasantly surprised that instead of normal sandwich bread, my panini came between two round flatbreads (similar to a naan or pita bread) that were lovely and crunchy on the outside. My husband also really loved his reuben (and he's a reuben fanatic). Next time he'd probably ask for a little extra sauerkraut though. Also, if you're a seasoned French fry person, their fries will send you to dreamland! They're super crunchy and seem to be dipped in a seasoned batter before frying - we didn't need ketchup or anything! The next time we're in town, we'll definitely be visiting Corner Cafe again - I can't wait to try something new! read more

We stopped in to try breakfast. It was our first visit. The owner greeted us. He explained he took over the business less than a year ago. He concentrates on quality eggs, meats and fruits. Our breakfast sandwiches and smoothies were outstanding. We will definitely be back to try lunch. It is a no frills, small venue, with a take out counter near the front door and tables to the rear. Freshly made from scratch, paired with big chunks of cucumber (not paper thin slices), hummus (not too much), and homemade pickled veg. 1/2 the wrap was more than enough! I wasn't impressed with this place the first time a tried it. Decided to give it another try since I've been craving a triple decker sandwich for some time and they offer one here. Well let me tell you..it's no triple decker sandwich. Just a regular sandwich with an extra piece of bread in the middle. Very small. We also ordered a steak and cheese sub and a mix platter (mozz sticks, wings, fries, popcorn chicken and chicken fingers). Although the food was edible it was definitely not worth the price. Mix platter didn't even come with any sauces for dipping and buffalo wings minus the buffalo wing sauce. Never again! My friend and I ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I'm glad we did! I ordered a Chicken Milano Panini (grilled chicken, fresh mozzarella, pesto mayo) with a side of fries and a Hawaiian smoothie - pineapple, banana, orange. My friend ordered a Turkey Bacon Guacamole Panini (turkey, smoked bacon, pepper jack, ranch, guacamole) with a Mango smoothie. Our paninis were delicious. Absolutely delicious! I am not from Annapolis and was here for work, a local business woman referred this place for lunch. The only disappointment was that I didn't ask sooner! I called to place my order and they said it would be done on 10 minutes! It was easy to find, easy to park, and the young man who rang me out was pleasant!
