Walked in hungry for breakfast before a 4.5 hour ride home and I was greeted by a very polite, professional and personable gentleman who is absolutely passionate about his food and customer service. He recommended the omletes and so I ordered a western that came with home fries and toast. I'm walking out with a very happy stomach. I placed an order for delivery- first time trying this place. When I called, it was loud and difficult to hear. He sounded annoyed as I placed my order. The order was for a simple veggie wrap, fries and smoothie. Normally I would have gone there to try the place- but I'm 35 weeks pregnant and completely under the weather. The delivery person was nice, however after he left I realized the french fries weren't in the bag. I called right away to let them know so that it could be taken off of my credit card. The guy promptly said "Sorry I can't do that, I would have to take the whole order off of the card". I said okay, so? He then said "Yeah sorry... the fries were only $2". Well- they might have "only been $2", but it's the customer's money and I paid for something that was not given to me. After going back and forth he mentioned next time I ordered to tell them and he'll do something about it for the next order. There won't be a next order. This is my second bad encounter with the owner of the restaurant. I ordered one smoothie for pick-up. I walk in and no one looks up they keep cleaning. 2 of the employees make direct eye contact with me and quickly avert their eyes and ignore me. I hear one say "someone is there" and the other say " I know but he is outside on the phone" instead of going to get him they just continue working and ignore me. The owner finally comes back in and stands at the counter I inform him that I have not been helped yet so that he can and I can be on my way. He looks at them and asks why they didn't help me. And then says "so what if they're busy ! Customer not always right! You should have said something." Why on earth would I just be standing there for fun???? He then continues and says ok I'm not gonna argue with you customers always right and shoo me away. He was so incredibly rude. I just wanted him to know that I hadn't been waited on. read more

Conveniently close to the new office, however, not as great as reviewed. The chicken fajita wrap wasn't what I expected and not really good in flavor. Great place for a quick bite. They have a pretty expensive menu. If you go to eat in good luck with having one of the only 3 tables they have. Food is good, smoothies are good. Average ticket there is about $10-15 per person. 4 stars is right for their setting, service and style. read more

I've only been at this location one time but I must admit I was pleasantly surprised. If you are in the mood for a good home made sandwich, you're at the right place. The Chicken Philly was lightly toasted and crispy bread, the ratio of a deliciously flavored chicken, onions, peppers to bread was perfect. My buddy got the Steak & Cheese with a berry smoothie that he said was out of this world. Not sure of the history of ownership because I think he mentioned that this particular location has changed hands a couple times in the pass few years but as of July 2022 this place is great food for a reasonable price. The gentleman who took our order (maybe the new owner) was friendly and was obviously vested in the outcome of our experience. After our lunch plans got changed due to my companion falling asleep from being sick, I quickly found myself on GrubHub looking for interesting delivery options to the hotel we were staying at and this place definitely fit the bill. Delivery was incredibly prompt. Barely over thirty minutes. We got the Cajun salmon rice box, which though she thought was spicy my friend really enjoyed, shrimp and fries, and a Reuben. All of the food was excellent, especially for delivery. Their fries were quite good as well. If I am back in Annapolis and need to get lunch delivered I would definitely go back here. read more

I ordered a delivery of a Western BBQ burger and a Blast BLT from this venue for the first time. What did I receive? Stale food! Virtually black, inedible bacon, VERY STALE shrimp, french fries and bread. I believe I was the unfortunate beneficiary of their unsold weekend(?) leftovers, or maybe this is their "norm". Spoke to the self-described "night manager" who desperately needs training in customer relations. He did not apologize for sending out garbage but idiotically stated that they cook their bacon fresh. This place took over the crab cake cafe which I never visited so I'm not sure if the aesthetics have changed. Immediately upon walking through the door I noticed the awkward set up. There was a good sized group basically blocking your forward progress as they were waiting for their food. You had to get through them in a very narrow space so you could reach the counter where you had to place your order. This place looks like it's getting very popular so they seriously need to address the floor plan here. Their menu is basic but with a touch of creativity and the prices are very reasonable. You can choose sandwiches from the grill that included the usual suspects like a cheesesteak, grilled cheese, or a Reuben. They use Boar's Head meats and cheeses, which I know many consider to be top quality. I think their products are way overpriced in most delis but here the prices were good. The corner cafe specials included charcoal grilled chicken, chicken tikka, salmon and shrimp over a salad. They also offered quesadillas, grilled panini, salads, wraps, sides like coleslaw, fries and potato salad. If that was not enough, you could also get deli style sandwiches, smoothies, and specialty coffee. Lastly they offer make your own salads and breakfast omelettes, sandwiches and wraps plus French toast and bagels. Wow, tons of stuff! Reminded me of one of those big chrome graced Greek diners with menus as thick as bibles but in miniature. On to the food, I ordered the $6.95 chicken cheesesteak that came with onions, peppers and provolone cheese and a side of steak fries. For later, I ordered the Gigi salad with grilled shrimp, spinach, avocado, red onion, tomato, and crunchy noodles for $6.50. My sub had chunks of real chicken breast not some shaved mystery meat. You could actually taste the vegetables and the filling to bread ratio was spot on. I wouldn't hesitate to order this again but would ask for one of their spreads to counteract the slight dryness of the lean meat. The no coating steak fries were perfectly fried, came from a bag I am sure, but they were tasty enough that I finished them off which I rarely do at most eateries. Haven't had my Gigi salad yet, but it looks great. This is a great addition to the quick meal dining scene. read more

Third order was the spicy crispy grilled shrimp Asian salad with Asian dressing. Very large portion with fresh ingredients and homemade dressing! Right next to a Subway and BY FAR the better choice if you want a sandwich. They use Boars Head lunch meat that you won't find at their neighbor. I had the pastrami rueben, and while not the best I've ever had it was really good and exceeded my expectations for what I would find in a suburban strip mall. Really nice staff working, had a conversation with me while I waited for the sandwich to come off the grill and that made the wait go by quickly. Surprisingly good! I didn't have the highest of expectations when I first got to the place, mainly due to the nondescript exterior, but it was recommended to me by a pretty reliable source, so I gave it a try. And I'm glad I did! I'm by no means a delicatessen aficionado (mostly because I'm usually disappointed by delis) but this place was unexpectedly satisfying. The name says "cafe," and they surely do live up to that name by serving tasty coffee in the drip and espresso varieties, and the basic mixtures that go along with those. However, the focus does seem to be on the food. In a rush, in need of just coffee, I'd still choose this place's coffee over the Dunkin a few doors down, but it seems to be designed around getting a sandwich with coffee on the side (it comes free with the sandwich, as someone mentioned before). The sandwich I got (the cubano panini) was right on the mark. Whether or not it was the authentic, Party-approved sandwich, I don't know enough to say, but it made for a delicious lunch in any event.
