Unfortunately, my sandwich was way overcooked honestly, I can't believe the waiter actually brought that out and expected me to take it. But that said our reason for being there was not the time to make any waves so I actually brought this half a sandwich back just to be able to put it on Yelp. The breakfast meal that another person got also was not up to par. Sadly, I want to take the chance of coming back again. The cook and the waiter should be told about this issue by owner not the manager and if the manager was actually there, he should brought up before the owner as well because you lost at least four customers. read more

We arrived to an almost empty spot, which filled up quickly, but it was as Trivia Night, and got quite loud. A server kindly moved our table of 4 outside to an area adjacent to the parking lot, which isn't ever my favorite location, but was quieter. I had a stroganoff Mac & cheese, which is apparently part of the extensive recommended Mac/cheese menu section. It was a large portion, tasty & satisfying, though probably not the healthiest choice! Guess I'd try the restaurant again on a non-Trivia night, and explore other food options. read more

Nice area with plenty of parking, access to other shops. Patriotic vibe with the unique decor, spacious dining area with a Bar in the back. Our Server was awesome, she was constantly moving, checking and refilling. They were out of Rockfish Tacos (disappointed), but she offered alternatives. We went with Burgers & Crab Soup. The Creamy crab soup was amazing, just what I was hoping for - I would have licked the cup clean, but wife said no. It was thick, creamy and tasty. 5 Stars !!! I enjoyed my burger, I asked for extra red onion (no problem), pickles and condiments (to include mayo). The meat was juicy, cooked just right and the bun was toasted & complemented the ensemble. I gave mine 5 Stars, Wife said 4 Stars for her. I loved the fresh cut fries, wife wanted crisper. I would give the Food - 5 Stars, our Server 5 Stars. The issue was the other Server, she was dropping F-Bombs & other inappropriate language throughout our time there. There were families present with younger children. We were pleasantly surprised walking into this restaurant. The ambiance was so friendly and inviting. Our waiter came right up and seated us. He showed us what the specials were and where we could find them on the menu. There were several TV's on the walls showing a variety of mostly sports programming. This was our first time ever in this area and the plaza looked very nice. The food.. We, first, ordered the crab dip appetizer and it was so good, it was gone before I remembered to take a picture of it! lol.. The Steakhouse Burger, minus the bacon, with the peppercorn sauce was pretty good. I think I should have had it minus the peppercorn sauce too. I was in the mood for the burger but the peppercorn sauce was just okay. My husband barely stopped to talk when eating his PB&J Burger so needless to say it was very good! My fries were very good and were "hand cut." My husband had the potato salad that looked a little strange, being as it was completely white, but tasted good! Overall a great experience! read more

The restaurant is located in a nice area with several restaurants and shops around. The staff was super friendly and nice. The food was good. Had the deviled candy eggs and a honey salmon special. Exceeded my calorie limit with a pumpkin espresso tres leche cake. but hey you only live once. Live about an hour from here and it has been on my must visit list. Stopped by for lunch with my brother and his dog before going plant shopping. So happy we did! Our server was attentive even though we were the only ones outside, they had a water bowl for our pup, and the bathroom was really clean. My chicken Caesar wrap was soooooooo good -- I think they grilled the bottom so it stayed closed?!? And my brother couldn't even finish his brisket burger it was so juicy and filling. The other patrons were all really nice, the food & drink prices were great, and the fries are made fresh to order. Can't wait to come back! read more

Cooper's Tavern delivers on fresh juicy hamburgers, but not without a few flaws. The burger was juicy and well prepared though the thickly cut toppings made it tricky to eat without making a mess and have the topping fell out of the sandwich. The fresh cut fries had great flavor, but lack the crispiness as expected. One of the best burgers I have ever had - and great service. Really just wanted a simple burger and got a simply delicious burger. Very glad I stopped in. Compared to where I live, the price was more than reasonable. It has a tavern/bar type feel, so I wasn't expecting the best food, what a great surprise! The burger and salad were really tops. We had never been to Coopers. But the reviews were good. Nice bar and grill. The food that we had was exceptional. I had the Steakburger. Wife had a salad with grilled chicken. The burger was great. I remarked while eating that it was among the very best burgers I have had in the past year or two. Fries were better than most. Wife said the salad was very good and the grilled chicken was seasoned and grilled beautifully. The service was solid. The waiter was helpful and attentive. It is not near us but when we get back to Edgewater we will return! read more

Took a drive to Edgewater to have dinner at Coopers Tavern and boy was it worth it. When you walk in it's on the smaller side but it was open seating on this night. We were immediately seated and our server Lexi was amazing. She was super attentive and told us of the specials and told us her favorite items on the menu. Let's start with the smoked maple old fashioned. It was absolutely fantastic. Kudos to the bartender. He made a mean drink. If you ever go please get one. We had the firecracker shrimp and honey bbq boneless wings for apps. Both were very good. The shrimp was seasoned perfectly and nice and crispy. The boneless wings were perfectly sauced, crispy and juicy. We also ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich, the California chicken sandwich, the surf and turf burger, and the double bacon pounder burger. When I tell you everything was seasoned perfectly, I mean EVERYTHING. Yes, that included the fries. Do yourself a favor and get to this place. You will not be disappointed! read more

The eternal struggle...what to have for dinner. Started driving toward Naptown and just kept going. GOS led us here based on the Yelp reviews. A local spot. Family friendly. Certainly pub food but also elevated. But not pretentious. Started with calamari because of course. The addition of mango was nice. The two sauces were very good! Our communist child complained because they had flavor but we just ignore him. I had the Rachel. Right on the money. Sometimes those sandwiches are too wet. Too much dressing. Not here. They kept it light. Which mostly means I didn't wear any of it. I got onion things. Very respectable onion rings. Hubby got the crispy chicken wrap. I wouldn't call him a man of few words but to wax eloquent about food, it must be good. In his own words, "this is the best crispy chicken wrap I've ever had. There is so much texture." The kid got mozz sticks. He's a simple kid. Desserts going by looked awesome. Definitely adding this too the list of places to consider. Worth the drive. read more

This was our first time here. Service was fantastic, food was great! Everything clean. Liked the hand sanitizer in the tables, especially given the rise in flu cases in MD. Music was tasteful and loud enough to enjoy but not so loud I had trouble hearing my conversations. We will definitely be back to try other things! Highly recommended! read more

I love eating here. I always find myself wanting to come here on a Monday but they are closed so I was finally craving it on a Tuesday, woo hoo! The first time I came here I got the French dip which is really good but since my first time I have repeatedly gotten the California Chicken Sandwich with a side spinach salad. The chicken sandwich isn't too heavy since the chicken is grilled along with other great ingredients (avocado, bacon, tomato, cheese) and all on a delicious ciabatta bread... yum! I'm normally not a bleu cheese fan but their dressing is really good on the salad though I opt for the grated parm cheese instead of bleu cheese crumbles. They make one of my favorite salads in the area. We also split the half and half soup today which as soon as they placed the bowl down, you could smell the old bay in there. Also one of the best half and half crab soups in the area... really good flavor. Other great dishes that my husband has gotten: Club sandwich-- massive but he loves it Cheesesteak-- Garlic or Parmesan fries-- both are good! Mushroom appetizer-- super good We usually sit at the bar with the tvs for us to watch sports and always have had wonderful service there. We love this place! read more

The food was excellent. We started with fried dill pickles, they were amazing. I had the grilled chicken sandwich on focaccia bread. Wow. One of my friends had fish and chips, a huge portion and she said it was good too. Not too busy on a chilly Friday night. But it was very bright inside, and chilly in the restaurant as well. The service was good, but the waitress was very young and nervous or tired. Not very personable, but not rude either. The food will bring us back, the other stuff isn't a deal breaker. read more

Best nachos I've had in a long time! Nacho chips held up to the toppings. Toppings were well distributed. Jalapeños brought the heat and were nice and fresh. Cheese sauce was yummy and not off tasting like it is at some places. The guac was super flavorful. And the best part was the chicken. I am a chicken snob. The texture is always an issue for me. This chicken was seasoned so nicely and great texture. We don't live around here anymore, which makes me sad... but I would totally come back next time we are in the area. read more

We had a party of 8 on a Friday night, and our meal was fantastic. Wow! The portion sizes for the wedge salad, the loaded potato soup, and the burgers were great. I had the Mac and Cheese Burger. We also had the Cowboy Burger. Both were great. My Mom had the Reuben, and it was not up to par with the rest of the food. She said the corned beef was very tough and fatty, and there was no sauerkraut on it at all. A sad miss for an otherwise impeccable meal for us. Great service too. We will be back!!! read more
