    Full Rack of Ribs
    David W.

So I went here for my first time with my family and wow this place really is great. We walked in and had a very warm greeting by leyah and I apologize if I got her name wrong but she was also our waitress and was fantastic. We started off with the onion loaf and that was really delicious, comes with a sauce that's like a ranch almost, very good. We also had to try the crab pretzel that was fabulous as well, then for the meal we had the full rack of ribs and pulled pork sandwich's. Let me just say this in closing, Adam's Taphouse has the BEST RIBS I've ever had, they are really really good. Please keep up the good work guys. I will be back very soon.

     menu

Barely edible food that took 45 minutes to serve. They then proceeded to over charge us by $25, claimed it was due to a "new system" and "dinner rush" as the manager phrased it (it was 8pm and 6 tables were full). They then charged $2 MORE for a meal than what the menu states, which includes two sides AND THEN proceeded to charge a la carte for the SAME SIDES that were INCLUDED in the meals they overcharged us for!! See receipt. When a restaurant manager rudely argues double charges and basic math and restaurant skills elude him, maybe it's time for that manager to look for a non customer and math facing career and for Adam's to make that happen sooner than later. Go to Chads...much better food and service.

    Crab cake salad
    Linda S.

My husband loved his Pork Bar-B-Q sandwich and double order of fries. He could not finish it all. My crab cake salad was generous, the blue cheese dressing was as good as I have ever had with huge chunks of blue cheese, plus they included feta cheese on my salad, everything a low carb dinner-patron could want. But I was disappointed in the crab cake. It included more filler than I would expect from any Maryland restaurant, let alone a restaurant in Edgewater. The service was attentive and our waitress was very understanding when we went to the parking lot briefly to complete my Maryland Yard Sale deal; we had explained that we would be gone briefly but were coming back. I recommend this restaurant, but next time I will order the steak salad.

rotted, dried out sweet potato from take-out dinner.

All the outdoor seating was full, and inside there was only one table available. Most of the tables are larger, so we noticed some groups sharing space, which actually worked out fine. The restaurant has a great open-air feel even indoors thanks to the large garage-style door that opens up an entire wall. For drinks, my wife ordered iced tea and I had a Peach Mule. The mule was good, but next time I'd skip the rim garnish. They also have a big beer selection, and the prices seemed very reasonable. For food, we ordered the brisket burger (single patty with cheese, topped with shaved brisket, jalapeño slaw, raw onion, pickles, and sauce). They offer a deal where you can add a side and drink for $5, so we added onion rings and also ordered the Serpent Fries as an appetizer. The fries came out first and looked great and they did not disappoint. Fresh cut with bacon, pico, scallions, and a serpent sauce (seemed like a beer cheese). Really flavorful, I did ask for ranch, which was an extra $0.50. I understand charging for extras, but not everyone uses ketchup or mustard, so that felt a little unnecessary. The burger came out shortly after, and it was excellent. We split it, and it was packed with flavor. Honestly, adding bacon would make it even better a "Triple B" (Bacon, Brisket, Burger) would be perfect. The only letdown was the onion rings. The onions inside were very thin and overcooked, leaving them dried out with little flavor. Even without the over-frying, the onions themselves just didn't have much taste. Definitely something they could improve. Overall, it's a great spot for burgers and fries, and we'll definitely be back for that. We saw other dishes come out that looked good too, so there's more to try next time.

I've never had a long wait, either to order or for the food to come out, which is always appreciated. The staff has been consistently friendly, and the space itself is clean and well kept. High-top tables, good lighting, moderate noise level--everything feels in order whenever I'm there. Food-wise, Regional keeps things simple, and that's what I like about it. The Cubano sticks to the script and does it right. You really can't lose with it--good flavor, balanced, and just a solid sandwich overall. The smashburger is another no-frills win. Fresh beef, fresh ingredients, and everything complements each other without trying too hard. It's just done right. The cheesesteak isn't something I'd call a true Philly, but in a pinch it definitely holds you down. The meat is seasoned well, with onions, mushrooms, and cheese coming together for an enjoyable sandwich. I appreciate that Regional doesn't overcomplicate things. My only real critique was the roasted potato salad. I paid $3 for a cup, and while it tasted good, there was lettuce stuffed at the bottom to make it look fuller than it was. That rubbed me the wrong way, so I wouldn't order it again. Portion sizes overall are fair, prices feel reasonable, and I like that there's something for everyone on the menu. I've already been back multiple times and will continue to return. It's a good spot when you want to get away from all the fast-food options in the area.

My wife saw they had black bean soup and a pork special, so we decided to stay and were seated. Since our last visit about a year ago, they've made some changes. The seating has been updated, with a second bar added along with high-top tables and booths. The space looks very nice. Our server came over, took our drink order, and we asked for a bowl of the black bean soup. When he returned, my wife asked how the pork special was, and he said it was very good, so she ordered it. I ordered the cod fish and chips. When the food came out, everything looked good at first. Unfortunately, the fish and chips were very greasy -- it seemed like the fries were placed on the plate to soak up the grease from the fish. My wife's pork dish was worse. She was given two slices with connective tissue running through them that were so tough she couldn't even get a fork into them. The other piece was also extremely tough and difficult to cut, and the gravy had no flavor. When our server finally came back to check on us, my wife showed him the pork. His response was simply that he would let the manager know and take it off the bill. There was no offer to replace the dish or bring her something else to eat. After that, we never saw him again. My wife eventually asked another server for tea, which a different server brought. Later, another server came by to see if we were finished. I asked how much the eggnog was, and she quoted the price for a bottle, said I just want a glass, she said I'll get you a menu I explained to another waitress I just wanted a glass. Eventually, I got it -- though I asked for it without ice, and it still came with ice. At that point, I just drank it. The best thing was the bean soup. Overall, this was not a good meal and honestly the worst experience we've had in the 10+ years we've been coming here. Between the food quality and the lack of follow-up from our server, it was very disappointing. It will be quite a while before we return.
