We are on our way home to New York. We pulled off 301 in Annapolis, MD and we stopped here to eat. I am glad we did. When we entered the restaurant I could smell good food. We hit a nice gem to eat at. The Hostess and our waitress Rachel were very nice. We got seated right away. The restaurant was getting busy. We got there around 4pm. My husband had a plate of pulled pork, pulled chicken, hush puppies, cornbread & mac & cheese and he fully enjoyed it and ate everything on his plate. I had the cheeseburger with Swiss & sautéed onions and fried pickles, & grandmas potatoe salad. My burger was cooked the way I like it. The wait for food was really good. The decor was Blues theme, with statue of Elvis, the Blues Brothers and Autographed Photos, signs about Blues History. If we didnt have a long ride still ahead of us, we could have hung out longer. If you need a rest from the road or live in the town its a must go to. Restaurant and Bathrooms were both clean. Glad we lucked into it

My family decided we were in the mood for a bbq lunch today and we went to check out Red Hot & Blue having heard great things about it from friends. We ordered our kids meals first, so they would come out first (pro tip!) and they ordered the kids portions of the ribs and chicken wings with broccoli and carrots as their sides. We also ordered them some fries for good measure. I ordered the burnt tips meal with the sweet potato casserole and tater tots as my sides. My meal was so tasty and filling! I can't recommend it enough. It also came with corn bread, which was scrumptious. I was so engulfed in my meal I forgot to get a pic of my husband's lunch. I'll add that and update this soon! The service was really great as well. Our server was attentive and responsive. She also had a sense of humor and knew how to deal with kids. :) We had a great experience, everyone ate their meals, and left full. We look forward to returning!

I met up for lunch here with my brother-in-law. We had the dry rubbed ribs along with dry rubbed chicken wings. We found the ribs were meaty and tender. However, I think they would have been tastier if we had them pprepared with bbq sauce. The service was fast and friendly. Seating was plentiful and comfortable. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. There is a full service bar offering mixed drinks, wine, and bottled and draft beers. There is a separate entrance for to-go orders. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for lunch and dinner meals. Pricing was reasonable

Just at the Western end of the Bay Bridge sits a place with a windmill and a pig statue on their roof. We have passed by here alot on our way from Baltimore. Always wanted to see what it was, well today was the day! We were not disappointed! We ordered the carry out and sat outside on this most beautiful late summer day with the Gurlz. This is real smoked BBQ and it was absolutely delicious! The half slab(really a half) of ST. Louis meaty ribs fell off the bone and had a nice hard glaze of Bourbon & Molasses. Sticky sweetness. This came with two sides and I added corn bread. Their onion basket side was really good and all were generous portions. And of course we had the gallon of Southern Sweet Tea(came home with us). Definitely a new fave when in the area. If you ever drive by here -STOP and try it!

Even my 2 YO Grandson enjoyed his first ever cheeseburger! The tomatoes were from the Eastern shore and juicy thick...the lettuce was "clean and fresh" and the burgers were smashed to perfection (a little crispy on the edges). Cool weather(breezy), good music vibes and Smashup burgers= recipe for success!

This truck came to the Crofton Farmer's market for the first time in early July. I was excited to…read moretry their food because I've heard good things. This particular morning, they were offering a breakfast burger special: smash patty with bacon, egg, cheese, onions, jalapeños, and cilantro lime sauce. Their regular menu sells two different burgers: The Classic Double (lettuce, tomato, burger sauce) and The Retro Double (pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard). I opted for the retro double. The burger was good. It had a nice crust on the outside. There was enough ketchup and mustard on the burger to taste, but not so much that it's dripping off the sides when you bite into it. The fries were good. I wish they offered a bigger cup of them since they're almost $4. Burgers are $9.79, fries are $3.95, and drinks are $2.00. They also have merchandise like t-shirts, hats, and hoodies for sale. The employee that took my order was really friendly. I hope they make a return to the Crofton Farmer's market! I would definitely get burgers from them again.

I've never had a long wait, either to order or for the food to come out, which is always appreciated. The staff has been consistently friendly, and the space itself is clean and well kept. High-top tables, good lighting, moderate noise level--everything feels in order whenever I'm there. Food-wise, Regional keeps things simple, and that's what I like about it. The Cubano sticks to the script and does it right. You really can't lose with it--good flavor, balanced, and just a solid sandwich overall. The smashburger is another no-frills win. Fresh beef, fresh ingredients, and everything complements each other without trying too hard. It's just done right. The cheesesteak isn't something I'd call a true Philly, but in a pinch it definitely holds you down. The meat is seasoned well, with onions, mushrooms, and cheese coming together for an enjoyable sandwich. I appreciate that Regional doesn't overcomplicate things. My only real critique was the roasted potato salad. I paid $3 for a cup, and while it tasted good, there was lettuce stuffed at the bottom to make it look fuller than it was. That rubbed me the wrong way, so I wouldn't order it again. Portion sizes overall are fair, prices feel reasonable, and I like that there's something for everyone on the menu. I've already been back multiple times and will continue to return. It's a good spot when you want to get away from all the fast-food options in the area.

It's large so she generally eats half at a time. Her leftovers are in the photo below. I had then Philly Mushroom today and I ate the entire thing! Yes, I overdid it Big Time! My side was the potato salad. It's actually red potato salad with the right amount of sweetness and not drowned in mayo! In fact it seems like a ground mustard aioli. I'm not sure but it's really good. They now have chicken wings with a variety of sauces to choose from. Of course I had to order smash burgers for my family at home. Walking around downtown Annapolis, we overheard some people outside the restaurant raving about how…read moregood the food was, especially the crispy kale, so we decided to give it a try. We were immediately greeted and taken care of, which was a great start! The crispy kale was HANDS DOWN one of the best kale dishes I've ever had!!! It was so good that I'd honestly come back just for that alone. I also ordered the crab bucatini, which was delicious! The pasta was perfectly al dente, and I loved all the different textures and flavors in the dish. I'll admit, looking at the menu, I initially thought this might be one of those overly hippie places that tries a little too hard, with a limited selection that doesn't necessarily look all that appetizing on paper. But wow, was I wrong! Don't let the menu fool you. This place is absolutely worth trying, and the crispy kale alone is reason enough to stop by! They also make their own soda! My one gripe is the "labor of love" tax. I'm not the biggest fan of these extra fees, especially when you're already paying for your meal and tipping. That said, the food was genuinely delicious, and I'd still recommend giving this place a try! Plenty of seating inside, outside, and at the bar!

None of us had ever been there, so we were in the dark about the food and everything else. Our waiter was efficient and competent, but we all found him aloof. It would have been nice to have a smile and a willingness to describe the dishes. We ordered a variety of dishes, and we all agreed that the crispy kale was a big hit. I wish I had taken pictures of the food. It was all good, including the Bloody Mary and the cold brew. Deducted a star for the waiter's attitude, not having more specific egg dishes, avocado toast (I was so craving it), or espresso drinks. Overall, we loved it, and we all look forward to going back, especially knowing what to expect-and what not to.
