I've been here several times, mostly during lunch, but I've also come in for dinner a couple of times with my family. I've never had a long wait, either to order or for the food to come out, which is always appreciated. The staff has been consistently friendly, and the space itself is clean and well kept. High-top tables, good lighting, moderate noise level--everything feels in order whenever I'm there. Food-wise, Regional keeps things simple, and that's what I like about it. The Cubano sticks to the script and does it right. You really can't lose with it--good flavor, balanced, and just a solid sandwich overall. The smashburger is another no-frills win. Fresh beef, fresh ingredients, and everything complements each other without trying too hard. It's just done right. The cheesesteak isn't something I'd call a true Philly, but in a pinch it definitely holds you down. The meat is seasoned well, with onions, mushrooms, and cheese coming together for an enjoyable sandwich. I appreciate that Regional doesn't overcomplicate things. My only real critique was the roasted potato salad. I paid $3 for a cup, and while it tasted good, there was lettuce stuffed at the bottom to make it look fuller than it was. That rubbed me the wrong way, so I wouldn't order it again. Portion sizes overall are fair, prices feel reasonable, and I like that there's something for everyone on the menu. It's large so she generally eats half at a time. Her leftovers are in the photo below. I had then Philly Mushroom today and I ate the entire thing! Yes, I overdid it Big Time! My side was the potato salad. It's actually red potato salad with the right amount of sweetness and not drowned in mayo! In fact it seems like a ground mustard aioli. Believe it or not, I was headed to the restaurant next-door to this one. But quickly realized I wanted something a little more savory than a salad. So and I went! Really cool American graffiti vibe with various signage showing states from around the United States a really cool flag mural and an overall fun place to hang out. Several TVs friendly service that actually brings the food to you after you order and really clean and spacious. Typical of a suburban restaurant in my opinion. Vibe of a franchise, but initially, I thought it was a mom and pop restaurant. Either way I really enjoyed it. I opted for the Philly cheesesteak because I was in the mood for red meat and cheese. While it didn't have very much cheese, I thought the flavor of the meat was really good. I loved the ciabatta bread along with the onions and the mushrooms. I typically put mayonnaise on Philly cheese, but it was so juicy. I actually did not need to add any dressing. I found the steak to be a little salty so I couldn't finish both halves of it because I don't like salt. Besides that they offer potato chips and potato salad and a couple of other items but I don't remember right now. I ordered the potato salad and it was so delicious! Really creamy dressing on red potatoes-- I could've had double portion! Overall, great experience, great restaurant, and I would go there again. I received a coupon in the mail for a complimentary sandwich with no purchase necessary. The restaurant was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available. The employee greeted me once I got to the counter and answered all my questions since I've never been before. To my surprise, I could get any sandwich I wanted since there was no maximum limit. I decided on the crab cake sandwich with the sauce on the side. I sat in the dining area while I waited in the area, which was very clean and not overly noisy. Less than 10 minutes later, my order was ready. The sandwich was topped with arugula, tomatoes, and red onions on a toasted bun. The sandwich was beyond good, moist, and very flavorful. I'm in the area for work and saw the reviews on yelp for this place which were all good and I have to say it's probably my favorite restaurant that I found here so far. It's a sandwich shop with a few mixed drinks and a few beers to go along with them. The cocktails are very good and the food is even better. The only things I've tried so far is a Cubano and the lobster roll which were both excellent. For what it is, basically a sandwich and beer restaurant, it's spot on! More so the sandwiches. Beers are on tap and in bottles; they're fine, nothing unique but a good selection. Have been here a few times and ordered it from DoorDash and everything has been great. They make an excellent burger. The chicken sandwiches are all good and their salads are not boring. One thing to know when you get up to order is there are two menus. One is the main one, and the other is just chicken. Both are good, and the orders are on the same bill- but it is a little strange. Prices are about normal for these days; have to pay extra for a side and drink, but the serving sizes are fair. Haven't had a bad sandwich yet and the shaved broccoli side is pretty great. I was very impressed with the concept of this place. The design of it reminded me of an indoor Biergarten. I walked in to try a beer and ended up finding out it was a sandwich place that serves beer as well, which made it an impressing concept to me. My family was greeted by the cashier, who seemed knowledgeable and had great customer service. She made us aware of the meal options. One is called "make it hoppy" which means to add the beer and side to the sandwich, which is what I opted for. I had the crab cake sandwich. It tasted exactly like a sandwich I enjoy at one of my favorite spots in Ocean City. It was tasty. The host recommended I try the sweet potato chips with a honey seasoning on it so I chose that as my side and had the strawberry cider as my beer. The texture of the chip was like a softer kettle. And in conclusion...... The food here is always great. Had a weird thing at this location though. Came in and no one was there. We ordered and then walked over to get our drinks. I started getting mine and my friend was on my left waiting on me. Right before I finished the guy that took out order came up on my right. When I was done he got in and filled his cup with ice and ginger ale. Said nothing to my friend even though it was obvious he was waiting to get a drink. Then he went over and stood at the counter on his phone. He literally butted right in front of a customer so he could have a fresh drink to browse the web. I ordered their "Philly Cheesesteak" and it was one small step (a very small step) above SteakUm. The roll was good. The meat was horrible. Of course, I did not expect an authentic Philly Cheesesteak--they are nearly impossible to replicate, but for a place that claims to bring authentic iconic sandwiches from cities across the country that are known for those sandwiches--I would have expected a little bit of effort put into it. Pros--the draft selection was decent. If they expect to make it, they need to up the game considerably especially when you consider Full-On is less than a mile away and they were just names one of the top 25 restaurants in the Baltimore Region. They have sandwiches and ale from every region of the country (hence the name) with a few to choose from in every region. The food was bright and fresh. I got the seasonal lobster roll and it is better than the roll I had in Bar Harbor, Maine. Perfect amount of buttery roll and soft and creamy lobster salad. My family and I really enjoyed our 1st time experience here this past Saturday. I had a bangin Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. My wife had the Chicken Club and a very spicy Tomato Basil Soup. My son & I decided to pop in to RegionAle Annapolis for dinner tonight. When we walked in we realized it was a Trivia night & while we love trivia, this teacher couldn't stay out too late having fun. We decided to share the Indiana Pork Tenderloin sandwich (potato bun, breaded pork, pickled red onion, arugula, tomato, & garlic aioli) & the Nashville Hot Chicken (potato bun, breaded chicken, arugula, pickles, Nashville hot sauce, & garlic aioli). We both decided to "make it hoppy" which added a side, a pickle, & a draft. First of all- that pork tenderloin was HUGE!! It gave off schnitzel vibes and the peppery arugula & the pickled onions cut through the fatty rich goodness of the pork and the aioli. YUM! That sandwich had me thinking I should not share the other half with my son but I did cause I love him. The Nashville Hot Chicken was tasty and the pickles complemented it nicely. It packed a little heat but it was not overpowering. I kind of wish it was a little hotter. We both ordered their housemade sweet potato chips which are highly craveable.
