Food is delicious! My go to is wings and fries for game day! Pizza is also really good and I love the social lager! Great deals during football!

This is the perfect place to watch sports. There are truly at least 50-100 TVs with every game and sport on as possible. The staff is very friendly and if there is a different game you would like on or need a game turned on at a TV closer to your seat, they are always happy to oblige. I spent several days there during the WNBA and NCAA seasons this year. The food is very good as well, I have had many items off the menu from pizza to salmon to sandwiches. The environment is something like an Applebees, casual, not too loud but there is often a fun and welcomed cheer from one table or another when a favorite team scores!

I'm reminded why it's been two years since my last visit here. While the establishment is clean ... it's too, industrial in appearance. Employee greeting us actually didn't great us. Just saw two people and said, "follow her." Seated at first booth in restaurant which technically had zero views of the 17 large screen TVs in the dining area. Asked for different booth further into restaurant... was told 'sure' with a grimace... I did not see an eye roll but the body language said 'she wasn't thrilled with the request.' Don't know why as the restaurant was close to being empty. Smash burgers ordered with well-done, dark, fries. In less than 10-mins the order was delivered. No complaints on the 10-mins as the place was empty. However ... - fries blonde as can be; undercooked - hamburger buns fresh out if bag, no hint of toasting - two, limp, barely cooked bacon strips... sorry BJ but limp undercooked bacon is shameful Asked for new order of well-done, dark fries. Rest of meal ok but in my opinion the Smash-burgers lacked flavor. Just was finishing up with our burgers, the 2nd order of fries arrived. They were 'dark. Well done, and HOT!' Just as we had originally requested. One has to ask why this couldn't have been accomplished the 1st time around. Sitting with two empty food baskets filled with used napkins and silverware. Server arrived and asked is we wanted a dessert or check. We said check. Server failed to clear empty food baskets. He returned with bill and again didn't clear table. Returned to get credit card; failed to clear clutter. Returned with receipt for signature and again, didn't clear the clutter. Guess this isn't taught here or he was just uninterested in job activity. Well, maybe another 2-years b4 returning. In my opinion, Bubba's 33, 8-miles up the road in Glen Burnie is more friendly, a more inviting establishment, and had better food choices.

I love jbs from there amazing crushes to there fantastic burgers! The staff is friendly. On Tuesdays the burgers are 10.99 and crushes are 6$ ! Wing Wednesday as well 20 for 20$ 30 for 30$

The manager Chris and the server Jackie are THE BEST customer service people I have ever met. The food is sooo good hot and fresh, pizza crust was so light and lil crispy, fries were cooked perfectly, and don't get me started on THE DRINKS!!!!!... this place is a 10/10 must come again.

Honest hot take. Pretty much thought this would be a take on Bill Batemans with a cleaner floor. We waited a while before going so they could work out the kinks. Went on a Friday night and was early enough for immediate seating. They've made great use of the space. It's very open inside and that nasty carpet is gone. Fresh and clean! Prompt and friendly service. A varied menu and solid local draft beer list. Very impressed by that. Good: Pizza for the kid. We tried it too and it was super tasty. Good crinkle fries. Hot chicken sandwich for hubby. Devoured. Thai chicken salad for me. So freaking good. Certainly looking forward to going back.

Food is, at best, mediocre. The managers need training in customer service. Not going back.

Ask the Community - JB's, Severna Park

Does JB's have a gluten free menu?

They do have a few options, but not a separate menu, at least the last time I was there.

Do they have happy hour specials?

Yes they do. Discounts on multiple drinks (including higher end beers) each HH. Mon-Tues-Wed they have food deals on pizza/wings/burgers (1 each night), and they have weekly specials unassociated with HH.

I called to place the order, and the guy couldn't hear me. When I called back, there was silence on the line until I said "hello" a few times, followed by a blunt "Yeah, what can I do for you?" slightly off-putting, but I placed the order. When I arrived, the place was empty and looked clean. The food was ready, and I was in and out quickly. As for the food: The Fries: These were excellent. They were hot, well-seasoned, crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. I really enjoyed them. The Burger: This was the letdown. I got the Black & Bleu, and while the toppings (bleu cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, brioche bun) were fresh and tasty, the meat itself was lackluster. They looked like two smash patties, but they had zero crust and absolutely no seasoning. No salt, no pepper, nothing. Honestly, if it weren't for the toppings, the burger would have been hard to eat because the meat was just plain and bland. I ate it because I was hungry, but for a "Pub and Ale House," the burger really needs to be seasoned properly. Between the awkward service and the flavorless patties, I can only give it 2 stars.

The service was great, friendly and fairly fast for such a large group. Unfortunately that was the only good aspect of this. The drinks were served in plastic disposable cups. Very wasteful. If I had known I would've just brought my own reusable water bottle. When the food came, several burgers were cooked incorrectly. I got a veggie and cheese quesadilla and the buffalo cauliflower appetizer. The quesadilla was alright but way too oily. It was basically sopping in oil. The sides of pico and sour cream came in tiny plastic containers and seemed store bought; the sour cream was separated with overly thick cream surrounded by liquid. The cauliflower was supposed to be "flash fried" (whatever that means) but it was honestly terrible. Soggy and mushy and soaked in a super strong buffalo sauce. The other people in the group who ordered burgers commented that their food was dry. This place honestly should be treated as a bar where you'll come to drink their extensive offering of alcohol. The food was pretty terrible and I will not be coming back for it.

My server, Travis, was very friendly and attentive, making sure everything was just right throughout my visit. I started with a cup of French onion soup, and it was so good that I came back today just to order another cup. That alone says a lot. Yesterday I also ordered the Eldersburg Burger, cooked medium-well, paired with their hand-cut fries. This burger was juicy and flavorful--honestly tasted like something you'd get at a family cookout. The fries were delicious and complemented the burger perfectly. I also have to mention the sweet iced tea--it tastes fresh-brewed and has the perfect balance of sweetness. Today, even though I wasn't very hungry, I tried the crab dip. While it wasn't my absolute favorite, it was still good. I also sampled the carrot cake, which unfortunately was a bit dry for my liking. That said, I'll definitely be back--especially on Mondays, when burgers are $8 (with toppings at $1 each, and totally worth it). My server today also let me know about Wing Wednesday: 1 lb of wings for $8, any flavor. Say less! I'm already planning another visit so I can finally try the cream of crab soup, which is made daily. Can't wait to see if it lives up to the hype. Overall, Oscar's Alehouse delivers solid food, great service, and awesome weekly specials. See you soon!

But honestly, we thought it became too expensive over the years (maybe I'm just getting old). With that said, I sat at the bar (service was excellent), and ordered the 16 ounce prime rib, $55, with a Caesar salad and sweet potato, and mozzarella cheese sticks to start (~$10). I ordered a tea to drink, but requested a beer (~$8)with the steak. Total bill was ~$80. The prime rib was ordered and delivered medium rare, and was by far one of the best steaks I've had in probably three years. It honestly could've been cut with just the fork, no knife required, and was well seasoned. The sweet potato mash was well seasoned, without being over seasoned. And the Caesar salad was super crisp, and I happen to like creamy Caesar dressing. The mozzarella cheese sticks look like they're hand dipped (not sure) and very good. And delivered with extra marinara per request. The bartender even remembered to pour the Sam's seasonal beer (winter something, it was not the typical winter lager which i like as well) when the steak was delivered. I did not have to ask. That was really nice. Also, I did not have to ask for a refill on the tea, it just magically appeared. Plus, the appetizer, the salad, and the steak, we're all delivered at the right timing intervals. I did not feel rushed, nor do I have to wait. So, was it expensive? Maybe a little bit. But the service made up for it, and that's all the difference.

If you walked in blind, you honestly wouldn't even guess they specialize in seafood -- that's how clean and fresh the environment felt. Major points for that alone. Now let's get into the food. I started with the cream of crab soup. The portion was solid and there were huge chunks of crab throughout, which I definitely appreciated. However, the base itself just wasn't to my liking. The crab was there, but the flavor profile didn't quite hit for me. For my entrée, I ordered the oyster platter with two sides -- regular fries and coleslaw -- and added a shrimp basket because when you're at a seafood spot, you might as well go all in. The meal definitely satisfied my hunger, but if I'm being honest, it tasted more boxed and frozen than freshly battered. That homemade, crispy, just-dropped-in-the-fryer feel wasn't quite there. On the bright side, the fries were good -- hot, crisp, and dependable. The coleslaw was exactly how I like it: balanced, not too sweet, not too heavy on the mayo. Where they truly shine is customer service. The staff was accommodating, friendly, and very helpful throughout the visit. Service can make or break a dining experience, and they definitely delivered on that front. Overall, while this visit didn't completely wow me food-wise, the cleanliness and service alone are enough for me to give them another shot. I'll be back to try something different and will happily update my review. Stay tuned.
