This is my first time at Founders Tavern. My company and I completed a mile walk on the B&O, and we were starving afterward. We decided to stop by this place, and I'm really glad we did. The burgers were delicious, and the shrimp and grits were fantastic. I will definitely be back!

I absolutely love their crab dip and would come here again for the blue cheese burger!! This is a casual place to come for food. Service was great as well

We made an impromptu decision to go out for dinner and ended up here--and I'm so glad we did! The Old Fashioneds were absolutely delicious, and the rock candy garnish was such a fun touch--I could've eaten a whole jar of it. I ordered the Swiss mushroom burger, and it was perfectly juicy and flavorful. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, just how I like them. The staff was incredibly friendly, and to top it all off, we were seated right away with no wait. Definitely a great spot for a laid-back night with great drinks, tasty food, and welcoming service. Will absolutely be back!

    Impressive options of seasonal libations.

I have been to Founders a few times now and have enjoyed the service, food, and drinks here! Out on errands and need to fuel up, this is a go to for sure as service is prompt and friendly without compromise to the quality of the food. I can't get enough of the spring chicken sandwich. Oh, and the fries here... liken the replica of Thrasher's in OC, no?! And the drinks?! I've not had one that wasn't strong! Glad this is an option whenever I'm in the area and a halfway point for friends and I. Lunch or dinner, Founders is fantastic!

Came here based off a recommendation a few weeks ago. My experience was good. We walked in and got seated right away. On a beautiful fall day, the place was busy but not overwhelming. Many chose to sit outside. We sat inside. Service by Sarah was good. We shared a few apps. Everything was tasty! I enjoyed the cosmo cocktail. I noticed they have an extensive whiskey selection. I will be back soon!

Found Founders when I was searching for a local place with a dog friendly outdoor seating. Location is in a shopping center off a main highway, so not much ambiance. Vegetarian options are limited. Server was friendly. My friend enjoyed her salad. Pizza was good.

Founders is conveniently located along Ritchie Hwy in "The Dena". Parking is plentiful. Upon entry, we were greeted and seating immediately. Decor is minimal but it serves its purpose. After perusing the menu, I decided on Chesapeake boneless wings and a Garden Pesto Pizza. A Tropical Bourbon Smash was my cocktail of choice. Food arrived piping hot and the cocktail was ice cold, which was perfect! Absolutely no complaints. I'll be back. If you're in the area, definitely add Founders to your list!

email response to my complaint about my take out order not being cooked and having to bake it in the oven.

The food was pretty good. They have a special on the wings on Wednesdays. The service was prompt and friendly. The bartender seated us right away. We actually arrived around noon time so we were the first ones there. I ordered the fried green tomatoes and the buffalo wings. Which came with celery and your choice of dressing. The food was average. Nothing to brag about but I would return to try the crab dip. I heard it was good and I am a fan of any cheese crab dip. I enjoyed my wings. The fried green tomatoes could have been cooked a little longer to suit my taste but it wasn't bad. Just a little hard to cut through with the knife. I'm interested in trying out their early evening. To see if they have any happy Hour specials. I loved the service that was received. So I would definitely return.

For food, I started with the crudo, which was super fresh and beautifully done -- light, bright, and the perfect way to kick off the meal.
