This is a painful review to write. Simply put, they didn't deliver the order. The food was delicious. This was a delivery order so ambience wasn't a factor. I ordered the stuffed eggplant. It was beyond remarkable. I also ordered the linguini bolognese. With chicken. There was no chicken. Again, this review is painful to me. Best deals for happy hour appetizers ever. 4 stars for the food, 5 stars for our service! The crab bruschetta was our least liked out of it all, it tasted/smelt super fishy and tuna like. We added other bread on top of it (made little sandwiches) from the table to mask the taste. Pasta was amazing - chicken portion was large (make sure to ask about price, we misunderstood the added chicken cost and it was an extra $6 for it but the portion was great). Meatballs were okay, presentation of everything was awesome. Our waitress was the server for the entire lounge and the bartender! She worked her butt off and her attitude was so nice. The drinks were SO strong I had to drink slow but we aren't complaining lol! Have visited 'P&V' twice now ... love the decor and ambiance. In both visits the servers were friendly, efficient, and were attentive to all out dining needs. But ... so far only one of six dishes/orders was worth talking about. The others were bland and lacking flavor... I'm not done visiting as there are many other dishes I want to try. Chicken BBQ pizza - chicken bits too small, red onions were almost shaved and you could not taste them, BBQ sauce too sweet Fettuccine Alfredo - ok dish but slightly bland and missing something flavor wise. Godfather pizza was decent based on the toppings but the dough had no flavor and the pizza was undercooked. Chicken Parmigiana was crispy but again, lacked flavor, and the tomato sauce was also bland. Now, the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka ... This was a WINNER! Although it wasn't spicy, it is flavorful and there is a white pepper kick finish to the sauce. Everything about this one dish was great! read more

I smelled the food from this store whenever I went to the Dollar Tree next door and kept saying I needed to stop in! Bestie and I managed to meet up here one day. There weren't a whole lot of people and we were immediately seated. I think the bar area had more patrons. We ordered! I ordered the shrimp gondola, Fettuccine Mare Bella, as well as a Caesar salad with shrimp and salmon. Just wanted to try what I can in one visit. Bestie got the baked ziti. She loved her meal! Me... not so much. The appetizer had no taste or seasoning to it. Where was all the garlic and flavor I smelled from outside? The Caesar salad was good but the salmon smelled fishy and the shrimp didn't pair well with the salad. The fettuccine was okay but I didn't care for the sauce or scallops. I don't know. The seafood dishes need some work. It seems like the meat dishes might be better. Service was good and the interior decorations were nice. read more

Went here for dinner after hearing all the local hype and seeing the 4-star reviews but left disappointed. I ordered the Fettuccine Mare Bella; it was reasonably priced but pretty bland. Service was subpar and our server was hard to flag down. The worst part was the drinks. The water tasted like chemicals, and since they didn't have bottled water, my husband ordered a lemonade which somehow tasted even worse. It was like the soda machine nozzles had been soaked in cleaning solution. I instantly felt sick after one sip. Between the mediocre food, poor service, and questionable drinks, I definitely won't be returning. read more

I had been to the location before it had been sold and like the Lasagna a lot. I want had the hunger for some so I went last Thursday night and ordered the Lasagna. It was a nice presentation but it didn't like what I have taken to be a nice slice of Lasagna. It was about one inch high and about two inches by 3 inches. There was a sea of red sauce surrounding what they call Lasagna. I took a couple of bits and all I tasked was cheese and some of the red sauce. As I took more it was more cheese and a bit of meat. I don't think I tasted any pasta. After another bit it was cold. I sent it back to warm it up. I must say that it had to be the worst piece of Lasagna I have every had and that is including some of those frozen Lasagna you can get from the freezer case. I did order a side salad and it was very nice. The blue cheese dressing could have been a bit thicker. I don't think I will be back even those I feel they did a great job remodeling the restaurant. Love the remodel of this restaurant. The new owners did a great job on streamlining the menu and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of options of soups, salads, apps, subs, classics and more. I haven't had any drinks here, so I can't comment on that, but they do have a wine list, cocktails and bottled beer. I've been here a few times now and have also picked up to go. The service and quality of the food is excellent. Pizza is, by far, the best in the area and the pasta dishes were flavorful, hot (temp.) and simply delicious. On some days it does get busy (Fri./Sat.) which can slow service down a bit, but the servers do their best to attend to your table. Overall, the food, ambiance and service is great, so that's 10/10 for me. read more

We get carry out pizza from here a couple of times a month. Tonight we decided to try the happy hour at the bar. The good - Fettucini Alle Mare (so?). Gluten free pizza. Espresso Martini!! The bad - please teach your bartender how to make a mojito. I have never had a mojito that didn't have mint in it. I had to ask for mint...in a mojito. The WORST - the guy vaping at the bar and no one said anything to him. I may be mistaken, but I thought smoking (including vaping) was illegal indoors?? read more

Bella Napoli had a good reputation for large portions and good prices. So, we needed to know how this place stacked up. Ambiance: They've done some great updates inside. Very rustic vibe but not cheesy or dated at all. New arrangement of the room as well. It felt small but not claustrophobic. Really like how it was decorated. Service: Was still really great! Quickly seated and promptly served. Our waitress did a great job and the rest of the staff was hustling to clear tables. Food: Portions sizes are smaller but you could probably still get two meals out of an adult portion. Everything was hot and tasty. The kid enjoyed his pizza. Just had our first dinner here with the new management. We are old fans of Bella Napoli. Our server was fantastic, patient, helpful and just the right amount of attention. Arancini were beyond delicious! I had vela marsala over mashed potatoes, and with sauteed vegetables that looked freshly cut, not out of a bag. Husband had "Rigatoni with Sunday sauce.' I must send in this review. So so disappointed. I took my mom for Mother's Day dinner on 5/9/2026. We had spaghetti and shrimp scampi. I am going to blame the cook. Both entrees were terrible. We even returned the spaghetti dinner. We would have thought we had been served soups. The meals were swimming in terrible sauces and the noodles were overcooked. The shrimp and the service was good. On a scale of 1-10 this meal was an 11. The food was absolutely delicious. The cream of crab was flavorful and full of crab meat. The meatball app was a good sized portion and was great. The filet with mushroom marsala sauce was amazing. The restaurant was well lit, clean, and perfect for a date night. This is a new restaurant so looks like my review is only their second on yelp. Don't let limited reviewes stop you from going. This is a great Italian restaurant. Now onto the review... OMG they have the best Mozzarella sticks I've ever had. These aren't the small overly breaded frozen ones most places have. These things are thick and the cheese to breading ratio is on point. Even better, they're half off during happy hour along with ALL the other appetizers except maybe 2 which are still discounted, just not by half. The meatballs were delicious too. Dare I say maybe the best in Pasadena? Oh, and the bread is soft, fresh and homemade. Service was great and fast for how crowded they were. The interior has been remodeled and is warm and cozy. If you like real shredded parm don't go here. There menu says SHREDDED PARMESIAN. I ordered the Ceaser salad and it came with absolutely NONE. Had to drive back to retrieve said PARMESIAN cheese. Food is horrible. Service was slow. The wait staff is rude, sitting with their friends and family in a booth eating, not waiting on tables. The owner was drunk and belligerent yelling at an employee for something and continued ranting after they left. The racial slurs in his native tongue are disgusting and disrespectful especially to white and Caucasian Americans. Some people are multicultural and bilingual, we work in HR and believe in EOE! I am not a fan of Pasta & Vino. I heard what great dishes they had, the big portions, and the reasonable prices. I brought my family on a Friday night to experience it for ourselves. We arrived at 7pm and were told it would be a 10-15 minutes wait. We figured that it wasn't a bad wait and sat in our car. At 7:40, I went in when to ask how much longer. As the hostess pointed to a booth, I told her that I needed to go out to my car to retrieve my family. If it wasn't bad enough already, when we came back in and asked about our table, the hostess accidentally gave it away to two women who just walked in. The hostess profusely apologized and promised us another booth in 10-15 minutes. Needless to say, that wasn't going to come true. During this time, a gentlemen who appeared to be the restaurant manager appologized to us for our inconvenience. I was suddenly optomistic that our luck had changed. Wrong again. We weren't seated until 8:45 and had been waiting 1hour and 45 minutes. The food was incredible. The wait staff was superb. The portions were decent, and the prices were adequate. My wife, our 12 year old son, and I shared stromboli bites and calamari appetizers. They were perfectly prepared and tasted great. For out entrees, we had shrimp fettuccine, spaghetti with meatballs, and salmon mugnaia. I had a glass of Blue Moon on draft, my wife had water, and our son had soda. The bill came to $99.63 and nothing was comped, nor were we offered anything for our inconvenience. On top of everything, on the drive home my wife felt sick to her stomach, almost vomiting. She has been in the bathroom since I started this post and I am not sure when I will see her again. I can not prove, nor am I claiming that the salmon was bad, but my wife has the symptoms of food poisoning. The only food she had eaten today was at the restaurant. I worked in almost every type of restaurant, from establishments that used 12 pieces of silverware for formal dining, to the Chart House, to Bennigan's. I know every job in a restaurant and the expectations of each job. I have never left a review this long or been as angry towards workers in a restaurant, but I am absolutely livid. So, please try their food. You won't be disappointed. I implore you to either make reservations or keep an eye on the hostesses to make sure you don't end up waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes waiting for your table. This is about my 5th time visiting this establishment. The only time I had decent service was when I sat directly at the bar or the female manager was our server. I called to make a reservation in the bar area. Showed up 15 minutes before the reservation and sat very back into the corner of the bar. I asked if I could have one of the open booths and was given an attitude when I asked if I could sit in a booth instead. After I was told yeah I bet you would rather sit in a both, the hostess agreed to sit me in a booth. The attitude was not from the hostess but a male that worked there. Sitting in a both I waited for a server to come out. She approached other tables looked at me then walked away. After more time passed I asked if I had a server or should I just order from the bar. The original server came out and I ordered a martini and 2 water's. After some time I asked again for the water's and was told they were working on the martini. Finally water came out. I was never offered bread. Finally after 30 minutes I waited at the end of the bar and inquired about my drink. The bar tender got snappy with me and said she had other drinks to make. I went back to my table to wait. About 10 minutes later a man went up to the bar and was served immediately. I approached the bar tender again asking why he was served right away and she told me I don't know what to tell you. I then asked to speak to the manager who was nice and said my drink was on him. 50 minutes now I finally receive my drink. I get my bill and was still charged $12 for my martini. Will not be back. I get that this place is somewhat new but this was absolutely ridiculous! read more
