Rockfish Puttanesca tastes great but we hope they keep the other options line seafood festival , Clams & Squid Ink Linguine

The new thanksgiving menu has so many new options we were hard pressed to know where to start. This menu that they kept after Thanksgiving beats the entire old menu. We had the Rockfish puttanesca with Squid Ink pasta yes squid ink pasta is on the menu in severna park. We've had to go to Baltimore restaurants just to find this. And The social had a few squid ink pasta options on that menu. I hope they keep a lot of what was on the Thanksgiving menu for the winter menu. It is perfect. Please revamp the regular menu! Short rib wow! Service at the bar was perfect as well as the atmosphere: please keep a lot of the thanksgiving options for a new winter menu

We had such a wonderful dinner at The Social in Severna Park on Saturday night! From start to finish, everything was excellent. The restaurant was very kid-friendly, and the wait staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. A special thank you to our waitress, Sam, who was funny, kind, and accommodating. We started with a complimentary bread basket, which was a nice touch. For the kids, we ordered the cheeseburger and chicken tenders meals. Both were very good, but I have to say--the chicken tenders were hands down the BEST we've ever had for our kids while dining out. For my entrée, I had the avocado salad--it was fresh and a good size portion wise. My husband enjoyed a Caesar salad and steak, both of which he said were delicious. He also ordered a margarita and a Voodoo Ranger beer, while I had a red blend wine by the glass that was so good I ended up ordering two! We couldn't resist ordering the carrot cake for dessert, lol! Overall, I can't say enough good things about this place. Great food, welcoming atmosphere, and fantastic service. Highly recommend checking out The Social if you're in Severna Park!

The food looked good and the staff were very attentive. We were able to start tabs and enjoy celebrating in the space. The heaters helped, yet many kept their coats on. The space is private, so our music was pretty loud.

Time to nourish on a busy weekend, I came upon The Social on the stretch of Ritchie Hwy. As the sun melted away the early morning snow and fairly open lot, I walked in and the place was quiet. Gentle to the eyes and modern, The Social is bright with open dining spaces. Bar tops and table seating options are plenty while booths are limited to 4 total, 3 towards the restrooms, and one tucked away up front near the bar. The Social's menu offers harvest from the land and sea, and in between, I was happy to see one of my desired salad, their take on it of course, the Winter Cranberry. I added grilled shrimp (+12 for 6pcs), dressing on the side, and it satisfied. The service was short. Enough just to serve, but nothing beyond "we hope to see you again!" type. If you're around the area, stop by and see what The Social is about!

Food was good! Bread and oil and vinegar was yummy. Bread was crunchy. I didn't care for the steak egg rolls. They were good for my husband just not my taste. I got the cream of crab bowl and that was good! Drinks we got a beer and mule. Tasty. Ambiance was super chill and our server Michelle was very kind. Bacon burger was big and juicy. Took half home. Will return!

We had a late lunch here and the service and food were great. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating to our toddler and all of the food was delicious. I had a fancy grilled cheese and fries and the grilled cheese was better than alot of the ones I've had!

I went to The Social for a work outing and they were friendly and accommodating leading up to and during the event. They had a happy hour for appetizers and alcohol on the day of the event (which was Sunday). Service was attentive. The environment inside the heated patio was nice. There was a metal rattle when the wind blew that sound like someone dragging a hollow metal tube on the ground occasionally and the wind made the patio sound like a tent at times but did not affect the focus of the party but some folks with sensory issues may or may not pull the focus if you don't like metal tubes pushed on concrete. The drinks were average alcoholic drinks. I ordered the golden hour daiquiri and it tasted like any other rum alcoholic beverage. The chicken cheesesteak was good, I think I would rather have a cheap shredded chicken cheesesteak elsewhere instead of chunks bc it's easier to squeeze the sandwich when eating and less chicken falls out. It came with chopped grilled chicken, your choice of provolone or cooper sharp white American, lettuce, tomato, mayo. The chicken cheesesteak did not taste seasoned but it was not fatty and the consistency was pretty good. The chicken from this sandwich would have been great in a wrap or something that has more flavor. Green peppers or something added for a crunch would have been a nice touch to this sandwich. I ordered the chicken cheesesteak as a "safe" option and do not think I would get it again. I would probably get a chicken Caesar wrap next time I visit the social. I would rate my sandwich a 6/10. My drink a 8.5/10. The environment a 9/10. The service a 10/10. Overall, I would give a combined of 8.5/10 for my time here at The Social Severna Park.

Do you take reservations for tonight? No one answered the phone or had a voice message

Yes, they do take reservations and they do get quite busy on the weekends. I would recommend to try to keep calling until they answer so you can get the reservation.

After spending the afternoon wandering through the shops in St. Michaels on my first-ever visit to…read moretown, I found myself craving one thing for dinner. A really good burger. Actually...a really good burger with crab dip on it. Naturally, I started searching for somewhere that could satisfy both cravings at once and landed on Carpenter Street Saloon, a laid-back local watering hole that's been serving up food, drinks and good times in the heart of St. Michaels for decades. Their menu had both burgers and crab dip, but not together. Challenge accepted! I arrived around 4:30pm on a Friday during Fourth of July weekend and somehow managed to snag the very last parking spot in their small lot. Even better, as I walked inside, a booth just inside the front door opened up. The adventure gods were clearly looking out for me! The atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping for. Folks were gathered around the bar enjoying drinks, conversations filled the room and absolutely nobody cared that I had wandered in by myself for dinner. Sometimes that's exactly the kind of place you need after a long day of adventuring. I studied the menu for approximately three seconds before asking my waitress what I assumed would be a ridiculous question. "Could I get a burger...with crab dip on it?" Without missing a beat, she smiled and said, "Absolutely! We actually used to have that on the menu, but nobody ordered it." I couldn't stop grinning! "Well," I replied, "I'm somebody...and I want it for dinner tonight!" One more vacation victory! For $16.00, my custom Bay Burger arrived piled high with rich, creamy crab dip and melted cheese dripping over the thick burger patty exactly as I'd imagined it. It was everything I'd hoped it would be! Juicy burger. Creamy crab dip. Gooey cheese. The combination just...worked! In fact...it worked so well that I briefly considered ordering another one before remembering I still had dessert plans later that evening. (Responsible Adult Alexis eventually won that internal debate.) I chose the coleslaw as my side, and while the flavor was really good, it was a little drier than I personally prefer. That's entirely a preference thing, though. If you're someone who likes a less creamy coleslaw, this one will probably be right up your alley. My Diet Pepsi was $4.00, bringing my total to just $21.20 before tip. Honestly, for a custom burger loaded with crab dip in the middle of one of Maryland's busiest holiday weekends, I thought that was an excellent value. Carpenter Street Saloon isn't trying to be fancy. It's comfortable. It's welcoming. It's the kind of neighborhood bar where locals and visitors alike can settle in, enjoy a great meal and relax for a while. If you're visiting St. Michaels and find yourself craving a burger, do yourself a favor...ask them to bring back the crab dip burger. Apparently nobody orders it. Except me. And now hopefully you!

This ended up being my favorite stop of the day. The moment we walked into Carpenters Street Saloon…read morethere was a live band playing. They happened to be paused between songs, and I jokingly asked if they had any Toby Keith. The singer immediately started playing "Should've Been a Cowboy," which set the tone for the whole visit. We stayed for a couple of drinks and ended up spending a good part of the afternoon there. The atmosphere was fun and laid back, exactly what you'd want from a place with live music. At one point a woman passed out and an ambulance came, but there was a group of nurses nearby who said she was fine and had just had a little too much to drink. It honestly added to the wild, lively bar atmosphere. Drinks were very reasonably priced too -- we only spent about $37 for the afternoon. Great music, great vibe, and a fun crowd. I'd definitely go back.

Great old-school bar, Great music every day!…read more We are always happy when we can catch a band at Cats Eye Pub in Fells Point Baltimore. Lots of rock and some americana. We were even happier to catch a blues band the other day! (Jun 2026). Charlie Owen & Pocket Change gave a great performance, with some well-known songs and a number of good more-obscure ones. It's fun when they feature one or another band member for a riff. We also love the divey character of the bar, while the crowd is more hip than divey. It's dark and gets crowded. The stools at the bar and by the windows always fill up. The ones along the wall come and go. The dance floor is usually packed. There's a room in back with a few tables, too, and you can hear the band from there, too. The bar has a full selection. They have around two dozen beers on tap, mostly crafts, some standards. Morgan pulled us a Snowball Sour draft from Dundalk's Key Brewing. It was smooth and creamy, only lightly sour, a fairly mild flavor, but well-balanced and pleasant. Steven served us a Banhez Mezcal, nicely flavored, rather mild in that trend to over-refine the bite out of agave spirits. He brought out a tequila that he likes, though i dont recall the name, also smooth and not bitey. We ended with a pure shot of Absolut Peppar, normally an ingredient to add some spice to bloody marys. On its own, there really is no spice, just the dark and slightly bitter bite of jalapeño and black pepper. We love Cat's Eye Pub! It's one of very few spots for blues in Baltimore.
