Adam behind the bar slinging John Dalys for $6.75 like Little Bill forgot to outlaw liquor in Big Whiskey. Then dinner rode into town. Chicken Cordon Bleu: 4.5/5. Moist as hell, ham and cheese doing exactly what God and France intended. Only crime? Needed more sauce. Not enough to hang the cook, but enough to knock half a star off the bounty. Then came the risotto. I believe it was forged somewhere beneath the earth's crust. One million degrees. Molten fucking steel. I tried to approach it. It threatened my family. No rating. By the time that thing reaches an edible temperature, Clint Eastwood will be smiling in a movie. But those slow-cooked green beans? Jesus. Sweet onions, what tasted like some ham-hock sorcery, cooked down until everything knew everybody else's name. I hit them with a dash of Tabasco and suddenly we weren't eating a side anymore. We were settling a score. Top-five green beans I've ever eaten. And understand something: I come from the South. Green beans aren't vegetables down there. They're a competitive sport. I ordered a second damn bowl. Adam kept the John Dalys coming, the happy-hour price stayed ridiculous, and when I asked his favorite movie? Unforgiven. Well, Adam... We had a 75th birthday surprise party in the private back room with 33 people. The space was perfect, the food was amazing, and the catering team really helped me with food selection and quantity. I also cannot say enough about our server Jenna. She brought us beverages, kept food filled, kept tables cleared and always had a smile on her face; she was amazing. My brother and I were turned away from Buffalo Wild Wings even though they technically didn't close for another 30 minutes, so we came here on a whim for a late dinner because it was close by and Yelp said it was open late. I am glad we did. First off, looks can be deceiving. Part of the reason I've never come here before is because from outside, it looks like a dodgy sports bar. And while the inside is most definitely for sports fans, with plenty of memorabilia and TVs, imagine my shock when I got a taste of the service, the food, and the overall vibe of the establishment. Our server was a very nice young woman who did a great job of checking on us without coming off as overeager. My brother and I aren't big drinkers, but that didn't dissuade her from not giving us as much attention as other patrons with bigger tabs. I ordered the french dip and my brother got boneless wings tossed in the honey old bay sauce. This is definitely elevated bar food (with great portion sizes to boot): my sandwich had freshly baked bread and came with fresh cut fries and a savory au jus. My brother commented and said his wings tasted like they were battered and fried to order. The prices are moderate -- given the level of service, the taste of the food, and the portions, we definitely felt like we got our money's worth. Fast service, friendly, and great food. Everyone from bartenders, waiters and kitchen seems proud of the food they serve. You ask what's good and they say "everything. It's all good." Nothing is half asked, they do a really nice job. It's not fancy, but it's really good pub food. Whether you get a salad, salmon, burger, wings... it all meets or exceeds expectations. Bar is friendly with a changing tap selection and lots of TVs to put on any game you're interested in. I wish the bar was larger, but I do seem to always be able to get a seat. If you're at a high top, though, you get the same attentive service. I drove past this for a while before stopping in because it's kind of an odd looking place and I wasn't sure what to expect... but it's great. Go. It's now in the regular rotation for me. read more

I was in the area and decided to stop at a local establishment before heading back home and stumble across this spot! I'm glad I did. The service, food, and atmosphere were a whole vibe. My waiter explained the menu and the drink I was interested in thoroughly and even made suggestions as this was my first time here. Appetizer: jalapeño poppers that had chicken in them. They were different, but delicious, especially with the dipping sauce. Entree: Franco-Irish Dip. Also delicious, the Irish onion dip sauce was excellent and flavorful. I had their cider to drink and it was satisfying as well. I recommend this place especially if you want to come here to watch your favorite game. This place always seems to be busy. I've only ever got to-go orders, but every time I go there, it's packed. Customer service isn't over the top, but it isn't terrible either. I think they're just more focused on the dine-in customers. As long as my food is correct, and hot, there's not much to complain about. Their boneless wings are AMAZING!!! On the couple occasions when i've returned after my first visit, i went solely for the boneless wings. Spicy bourbon is one of my fav flavors. But truly, you can't go wrong with any of them...or no sauce at all! The "naked" boneless are a fav too. Seasoned to perfection with just the perfect amount of crunch. To be fair, Ive also tried other menu items like the Salmon BLT. The portion was great, but it was definitely on the drier side. I wish it came with a sauce or spread. Maybe an old bay aioli or chipotle mayo would've done this thing justice! Also, i like my bacon a little crispier, but that's just preference. Taste-wise, it's still a good sandwich!! Cozy and fun bar atmosphere. Stopped here because I was feeling car sick & needed a break from the car for a while. Sam took good care of us and I really appreciated her making me another drink after I tried something new that I didn't like. Sliders were standard bar quality. I've heard great things and been here twice. Today was after a navy game and they were packed. The good, great place to watch a game, lots of TVs. The bad, they are understaffed and the food isn't that great. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak. It was basically a chicken quesadilla on a roll. Large pieces of chicken breast with american cheese melted on top with peppers and onions. The 'hand cut' fries were greatly undercooked. It was also very cold inside. We stumbled upon this place when we were heading to a spot across the bridge but the bridge was shut down due to a bad accident. I did a quick yelp search and found this spot. There were quite a few basketball games on that we wanted to see and this place has a lot of tvs available. I will note that unless you're sitting in the immediate bar area you'll have to be strategic as to where you sit to see more than one game. Overall we had a great time. The food was good and their wings were very flavorful and saucy. The staff was great. Most people were in their watching sports and were rowdy and into the action - which we loved. Went here for an early dinner on a whim because a lot of locals recommended it. Hubby got a burger with ghost pepper cheese while I stuck with the seafood theme and got a fish po boy. Hubby said the ghost pepper cheese made the burger tolerable. My fish po boy was lackluster after seeing how the orange American cheese was melted right on top of the fried fish. The way it melted looked too much like when I melt a Kraft single on top of my daughter's fish stick sandwiches. The taste of their po boy was comparable to such. While the service was decent, the interior looked outdated. I'm sure locals enjoy this spot for their drinks, but it was a miss for their food. read more

So, how, you might ask, did I arrive at a 5 star review for this rather divey-bar restaurant? Well, the food was quite good-perhaps a 4 star. Ambiance was ok-perhaps a 3 or even a 3.5 since it doesn't try to be anything it isn't and for a neighborhood bar/grill, it works for me. But, service?? I'll give them a 10 star! What a terrific group of people! We left wanting to go back the next day and try some of the other offerings. As it was, we can recommend the steamed shrimp, the fish and chips and the petite filet. And to put the proverbial icing on my cake, they have REAL!!!!!!! hot fudge sauce. (Can you hear that Julep who fooled me once and never again...) Stopped by for lunch after a meeting and the food was good...not amazing, but good and reasonably priced. The Bar staff was amazing though. On top of food delivery and topping off drinks. We were looking for a place to eat with the kids while in Annapolis. The place was incredibly loud but we still enjoyed ourselves since the food was delicious. The kitchen staff was backed up which the kids weren't happy about but they kept apologizing to us. We had the fried mozzarella, wing bites, chicken wings, chicken tenders, French dip and Cubano sandwich. A sports bar restaurant that's locally operated and independently owned in Annapolis. Its a local hangout with good food and friendly staff and lots of private parking. Shout out to my favorite bartender Billy. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. There is full bar, high-top and regular dining table service. They have a couple arcade games, lots of TVs and good specials. It can get quite loud with all the enthusiasm generated by the sporting events and socializing. They show all of the Major League Baseball and NFL games, and run specials for Caps and Terps games. Though I usually stop in for a drink after coming from dinner from someplace else, I have had their food before that is pretty good. They have a plethora of good food to choose from, and with being a bar, they certainly live up to the hype of good drinks and prices as well. There's also a million TVs on the inside so you'll be able to see just about whatever play from whatever game is being aired at the time. One of my favorite sports bar environments. One of the specials you should definitely try is the Lasagna Grilled Cheese Sandwich. It is delicious!! The sandwich is everything lasagna minus the pasta. Deducting one star because I ordered a turkey Reuben sandwich and it was made with coleslaw and not the standard sauerkraut which I was looking forward to. I was not informed of the substitution. There's something really wonderful about getting exactly what you're in the mood for. I was in Annapolis after a live event that ended around 10pm. While many restaurants were open past 10pm, nearly all of them had closed their kitchens by then. Not West End Grill! I came in, and it had an excellent bar ambiance - TVs showing various sporting events abound, groups of friends clearly meeting up after work, ample space, a terrific Maryland theme. It was exactly what I expected, and it was exactly what I wanted. I ordered buffalo wings and The Triple Pig (a sandwich with 3 types of pork) and I was quite pleased! The wings were very very solid, and The Triple Pig was a yummy mess! The fries were just fine, but the meal as a whole hit the spot. My waitress was nice, and service was wonderful. September 20, 2024 Had a 90th birthday part on Sept. 7, about 45 people. Worked with Matt W. to get it set up. We were not disappointed. From beginning to end, Matt and his staff helped us. I am sorry I don't know the names of everyone to thank them as well! The food was outstanding and with Matt's help we did not run out. Had plenty!! Everyone, and I mean everyone, told us what a great party it was and how excellent the food was. I'll call it the "party room" was very nice and people could move around and visit with everyone. Wanted to give a "thank you" to our waitress, Savannah. She was efficient, friendly and extremely helpful to everyone at the party. We could not be more pleased.
