I absolutely love Miller's, I've been going here since January 2026 and I soon became a regular! I'm here at least every Friday and the food/drinks are always perfect in my opinion! The ambience is very nice with some dim lighting and TVs surrounding you to watch your favorite game! The service is what makes me come back even more! I came here with family and friends for a farewell dinner a couple weeks ago. They were able to accommodate our group which was more than 10 people and I don't remember anyone really having problems with their food. They have plenty of TVs all around so we were able to enjoy some of the games that were playing last Sunday evening. They also have deals each week for food and drinks. They have two bars and plenty of seating which you would never guess if you were looking from the outside. Not a bad sports bar at all. Worst fish and chips I have ever had--soggy and tasteless. I took one bite and that was it. Even though the food was virtually untouched, the server didn't acknowledge it and simply took the plate away without any comment. UPDATE: After posting this review, management reached out to me and handled the situation in a very professional and genuine way. They apologized for the experience and took the time to address my concerns, which I really appreciated. Decided to check out this spot to watch the game. It was jammed packed on a Saturday night. Numerous TV's throughout, football fans enjoying the evening and the food. We kept it simple just a few appetizers and drinks. Our server was awesome, college student taking a semester break. Very attentive and helpful. Food was great. Had the soup of the day, Creamy Chicken Enchilada. Loaded with spicy chicken, amazing. Wings were big, seasoned well and piping hot. Also kept it healthy with a side of fresh steamed spinach. I stopped by to watch the Commanders and Eagles on Sunday. It was about 645pm and the place was packed. We literally got the last two seats in the house. We sat in the bar area and I think I counted 15 televisions. No matter where you sat, you could see the game. After glancing over the menu, I ordered Mimi's fiesta chicken & shrimp bowl. My waiter Peyton said it was one of his favorite things on the menu and after tasting it, I could see why. The bowl included grilled chicken breast, blackened shrimp, black bean corn salsa, cilantro lime rice, chimichurri, creamy red chile sauce, pickled red onions, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and queso fresco cheese. I can't lie, that bowl was pretty good. It's definitely something I would order again and it's figure friendly. On my next visit, I won't be counting calories so I'll probably have something that's a little less figure friendly. Despite the restaurant being packed, Peyton was a great server. This was our first time visiting and a good experience with the customer service, the waitress, the vibe (college football and NBA games on screens), and the food. For appetizer, we had the chicken nachos, it was a good portion and good. I do wish more chicken but the lime crema was delicious. I've actually boycotted Miller's for several years. In Philadelphia there are a few that I've tried and every time it has been a disappointment, typically the service is okay but the food is always lacking. However, being that I travel to Annapolis a few times month I opted to try this location which sits next to the mall. It was a last resort, most of the restaurants in this area (where my hotel is) have extremely small bars which fill up quickly, Miller's on the other hand has two very large bars where you can usually find a seat. So, it has been my spot over the past several months to grab a few beers and dinner. I'll start with the service, I always go to the bar, you should always receive better and faster service at a bar than at a table and if you don't, there is a serious issue with the restaurant you're in. The bartenders all do a good job, I believe I've had six different ones during my visits, some several times. And like many places, some are better than others but again, they all are on their game. Now on to the food, the single reason that I have boycotted Miller's for so long. I have always had issue with food that isn't seasoned or overcooked and that has been the consistent theme with this brand. My first visit I ordered a burger and it was overcooked and had zero seasoning, the fries were good though. I wasn't going to return but as I mentioned before this seems to be the only place that doesn't get jam packed and I can always find a seat. So I begrudgingly returned a week later and ordered the Zingers with a side of fries. These are what I have always tried before and they always were flavorless with barely any sauce. Not this time, the chicken (or breading) tasted seasoned, they were cooked perfect and were sauced perfect. A win! I actually returned the next night with a group of about eight and ordered them again (this time at a table) with a different sauce and they were good. I came back a week later and the same. In fact, these few good experiences here had me bring my family to one of the local Miller's in Philadelphia to try them again and they too did a good job. Could it be my boycott of Miller's had ended, could it be they finally learned how to season food? A few more visits to the Annapolis location were the same as I had been experiencing. Then, suddenly, like a switch was flipped it happened. I ordered the Zingers and received dry, seemingly old, and barely sauced chicken, just as was consistent years ago. I ate one or two and left and told myself, I'll try again because they were doing good. I returned a week later and opted for the "Prime" rib that I saw so many others ordering on Thursday's and thought they always looked good. It was not, it was cooked perfect but the rib roast it's self chewed more like a Select cut than even a Choice. The next week, I returned I went back to my Zingers and the same experience, dry, old and barely sauced. This sealed it, I wasn't coming back...or so I thought. Finally, this week I returned again due to the same reason: no seats at the bars at the surrounding several restaurants and Miller's parking lot was surprisingly empty. Plenty of space, I ordered the Zingers and they came out perfect. Perfect seasoning, taste, temp and sauce. I believe my boycott of Miller's is over, at least in Annapolis until I can find somewhere else I can get a bar seat easily. The problem is they could be so good if they were simply consistent but they're not. For a chain, you're going for consistency and they miss the mark on this. Give them a try, the service staff is good and hopefully you'll hit them on a good day. read more

Miller's Ale House is a chain that seems to be growing in popularity. It shows because they seem to be opening new locations everywhere, including this one in Annapolis. It's located by the mall where Applebee's used to be. I ended up meeting up with some friends on a Monday for lunch. We were off work due to a holiday. When I arrived, I joined my friends at a booth. I ended up getting a strawberry mule for my drink. The drink was made with whiskey instead of the typical vodka. I like my mules made this way. For food, I got the cajun chicken pasta. Since they had a special on the zingers, I got an order of those too. Honestly, I don't have many complaints. So bottom line up front, they are way understaffed. The staff they do have have found corner to hide in to keep from serving customers. The poor bartender has 20 people at the bar and is killing it, yet the rest of the staff are barely around. I wanted a table but was told it would be 20 minutes even though I counted 15 empty tables. Off the soap box. I am confident that they will get better or just like every other restaurant that has been on this side of town they will go out of business. Where do I start. I've been waiting for a solid burger spot to open close by since Red Robin closed last year -- especially since that used to be my go-to at the mall. So when word got out that a Miller's was opening up adjacent to the mall, I was somewhat excited. I ordered takeout tonight via Doordash and needless to say I'm really let down. I'm hoping that this experience was mediocre because this place just opened up, but this definitely didn't check the boxes I was looking for. The burger was cooked decent enough, but it was average at best and was missing some of the toppings (primarily tomato which I was really looking forward to). It didn't help that the burger was sans mayo or any other sauce and therefore couldn't save the dry bun it was living on. Thankfully, I thought far enough ahead to pay for a side of honey mustard which did some lifting. The fries were cold and few and far between -- literally counted like 14 fries. I get this was their like classic bundle combo or whatever, and *maybe* it was an off night or they put less effort into takeout orders like some other places in the area, but for a place that's supposed to be competing with other ale house / brewpub / middle class casual dining options, they need to step their game up. Again, maybe this is growing pains or something, so I'm willing to try again and give this place a second chance. If I do, expect an updated review. The last review that I gave MAH was not exactly glowing. Against my better judgement, my wife and I decided to give the place another try after a morning of fossil mall-walking. To my surprise, I was pleasantly surprised. We both ordered off of the menu that has reasonably priced specials. I'm not sure why we weren't given this menu when we sat down, but we knew it existed and asked for it. I got the soup and salad special for $7.99. The French Onion soup was easily the best I've had in a long while. The salad wasn't very large, but it's plenty for the price I paid. My wife got the fish and chips special for the same price. She liked it, but again, it's not a lot of food, but is an appropriate size for $7.99. The service was well-paced and with a couple of iced teas, we got out of there, including a 21% tip, for $30. Update: I have gave two good reviews when this place first opened but I just say now that all the trainers have left it's def slightly different. The wings were so small compared to our first visits , we had wings both times. The food took 30 mins and it was terrible. I had to ask for a manager. We were never asked if we wanted salt on our rim. When the waitress heard me say dang there is salt on my rim she didn't show any convene to change it. So when my boyfriend asked if I wanted another cup I declined because she should have mentioned when we ordered which one we wanted. I wasn't happy this time around going there. Even though the manager came out and got me another meal just going through all of that was not good. It's the little things that make an experience great. I have a complaint. We have spent several football sundays watching our favorite teams at Millers. This weekend we watched the Super Bowl. Halfway through the game, our waitress asked if we wouldn't mind closing our tab because she was going home. Sure. We obliged. As soon as she collected our money and tip (on credit card), the manager came over and asked us to leave because we said derogatory comments. We did not say any of that and we didn't have any problems with other guests. We asked the other guests near us and they said they never heard us say any of that. But the manager heard us from the kitchen. We peacefully left but I asked the manager for my receipt so that I can cancel out the tip. He refused to give it back and said you signed it. Too late. We will never go to Millers again. read more
