Our second year celebrating the winter holidays here was nice. We reserved the room as a staff and paid for appetizers. Tabs for drinks were easily accommodated. The staff was pleasant and added to the fun. We were about to play our own music via Bluetooth. So fun.

The service was very good and I was excited to try the food here. Everything was okay until I found a hair in my food. Our bar tender was attentive and took care of it by removing it from the bill and also offering a new one. Ambience is good and they do also have NFL Sunday ticket. I'd probably return, but not for the food.

Update : I just wanted to take an additional moment to highlight Joel at Miller's. He truly is, a joy to have as an overall server, and I'm sure the staff he works with would say the same. If/When I return to Miller's, I'm looking to my right to see if Joel is bartending! His energy is unmatched at the bar.

Decided to check out this spot to watch the game. It was jammed packed on a Saturday night. Numerous TV's throughout, football fans enjoying the evening and the food. We kept it simple just a few appetizers and drinks. Our server was awesome, college student taking a semester break. Very attentive and helpful. Food was great. Had the soup of the day, Creamy Chicken Enchilada. Loaded with spicy chicken, amazing. Wings were big, seasoned well and piping hot. Also kept it healthy with a side of fresh steamed spinach. The onion rings and calamari were both light and crispy. Not overly salty. Seasoned well and served with awesome sauces. DRINKS? Why, yes I had them. Old Fashioned, and beers too. Typical American bar fare; awesome SERVICE; great football. The Ravens won. You will too if you decide to hit this spot up. Plenty of seating, good food and cool vibes

I stopped by to watch the Commanders and Eagles on Sunday. It was about 645pm and the place was packed. We literally got the last two seats in the house. We sat in the bar area and I think I counted 15 televisions. No matter where you sat, you could see the game. After glancing over the menu, I ordered Mimi's fiesta chicken & shrimp bowl. My waiter Peyton said it was one of his favorite things on the menu and after tasting it, I could see why. The bowl included grilled chicken breast, blackened shrimp, black bean corn salsa, cilantro lime rice, chimichurri, creamy red chile sauce, pickled red onions, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and queso fresco cheese. I can't lie, that bowl was pretty good. It's definitely something I would order again and it's figure friendly. On my next visit, I won't be counting calories so I'll probably have something that's a little less figure friendly. Despite the restaurant being packed, Peyton was a great server. He made recommendations, was personable, friendly, and provided excellent customer service.

Went here for my dads birthday lunch. I thought the food was average. But the atmosphere is great and there are tons of tvs! Our server John was awesome! I got a pint of the buried treasure ice cream to go and it is delicious!

Another one of those Annapolis duds. Order was placed closer to midnight. I had this horrible craving for Mac and cheese with bbq flavored chicken. And this place so happened to be still open and had what I wanted. Fish and chips were underwhelming. The chicken pieces on top of my pasta was sad stale small morsels of yuck. I wasn't expecting it to be otherworldly food but dang. It was just chewy and dry and just no. I wouldn't be returning again in the future.

Quesadilla and Burger

Restroom needs attention, needs TP, but clean. Our waitress Renee was very nice and attentive. Had the chicken quesadilla and the classic cheeseburger. Both were excellent, hot and tasty. Burger could have used a little bit more seasoning though. All in all a good job hete.

Zingers, I always ordered them sauced (here with Caribbean Jerk) and a side of Five Pepper Fire sauce because I like to dip my fries in it.

I've actually boycotted Miller's for several years. In Philadelphia there are a few that I've tried and every time it has been a disappointment, typically the service is okay but the food is always lacking. However, being that I travel to Annapolis a few times month I opted to try this location which sits next to the mall. It was a last resort, most of the restaurants in this area (where my hotel is) have extremely small bars which fill up quickly, Miller's on the other hand has two very large bars where you can usually find a seat. So, it has been my spot over the past several months to grab a few beers and dinner. I'll start with the service, I always go to the bar, you should always receive better and faster service at a bar than at a table and if you don't, there is a serious issue with the restaurant you're in. The bartenders all do a good job, I believe I've had six different ones during my visits, some several times. And like many places, some are better than others but again, they all are on their game. Now on to the food, the single reason that I have boycotted Miller's for so long. I have always had issue with food that isn't seasoned or overcooked and that has been the consistent theme with this brand. My first visit I ordered a burger and it was overcooked and had zero seasoning, the fries were good though. I wasn't going to return but as I mentioned before this seems to be the only place that doesn't get jam packed and I can always find a seat. So I begrudgingly returned a week later and ordered the Zingers with a side of fries. These are what I have always tried before and they always were flavorless with barely any sauce. Not this time, the chicken (or breading) tasted seasoned, they were cooked perfect and were sauced perfect. A win! I actually returned the next night with a group of about eight and ordered them again (this time at a table) with a different sauce and they were good. I came back a week later and the same. In fact, these few good experiences here had me bring my family to one of the local Miller's in Philadelphia to try them again and they too did a good job. Could it be my boycott of Miller's had ended, could it be they finally learned how to season food? A few more visits to the Annapolis location were the same as I had been experiencing. Then, suddenly, like a switch was flipped it happened. I ordered the Zingers and received dry, seemingly old, and barely sauced chicken, just as was consistent years ago. I ate one or two and left and told myself, I'll try again because they were doing good. I returned a week later and opted for the "Prime" rib that I saw so many others ordering on Thursday's and thought they always looked good. It was not, it was cooked perfect but the rib roast it's self chewed more like a Select cut than even a Choice. The next week, I returned I went back to my Zingers and the same experience, dry, old and barely sauced. This sealed it, I wasn't coming back...or so I thought. Finally, this week I returned again due to the same reason: no seats at the bars at the surrounding several restaurants and Miller's parking lot was surprisingly empty. Plenty of space, I ordered the Zingers and they came out perfect. Perfect seasoning, taste, temp and sauce. I believe my boycott of Miller's is over, at least in Annapolis until I can find somewhere else I can get a bar seat easily. The problem is they could be so good if they were simply consistent but they're not. For a chain, you're going for consistency and they miss the mark on this. Give them a try, the service staff is good and hopefully you'll hit them on a good day.

All the outdoor seating was full, and inside there was only one table available. Most of the tables are larger, so we noticed some groups sharing space, which actually worked out fine. The restaurant has a great open-air feel even indoors thanks to the large garage-style door that opens up an entire wall. For drinks, my wife ordered iced tea and I had a Peach Mule. The mule was good, but next time I'd skip the rim garnish. They also have a big beer selection, and the prices seemed very reasonable. For food, we ordered the brisket burger (single patty with cheese, topped with shaved brisket, jalapeño slaw, raw onion, pickles, and sauce). They offer a deal where you can add a side and drink for $5, so we added onion rings and also ordered the Serpent Fries as an appetizer. The fries came out first and looked great and they did not disappoint. Fresh cut with bacon, pico, scallions, and a serpent sauce (seemed like a beer cheese). Really flavorful, I did ask for ranch, which was an extra $0.50. I understand charging for extras, but not everyone uses ketchup or mustard, so that felt a little unnecessary. The burger came out shortly after, and it was excellent. We split it, and it was packed with flavor. Honestly, adding bacon would make it even better a "Triple B" (Bacon, Brisket, Burger) would be perfect. The only letdown was the onion rings. The onions inside were very thin and overcooked, leaving them dried out with little flavor. Even without the over-frying, the onions themselves just didn't have much taste. Definitely something they could improve. Overall, it's a great spot for burgers and fries, and we'll definitely be back for that. We saw other dishes come out that looked good too, so there's more to try next time.

I am glad we did. First off, looks can be deceiving. Part of the reason I've never come here before is because from outside, it looks like a dodgy sports bar. And while the inside is most definitely for sports fans, with plenty of memorabilia and TVs, imagine my shock when I got a taste of the service, the food, and the overall vibe of the establishment. Our server was a very nice young woman who did a great job of checking on us without coming off as overeager. My brother and I aren't big drinkers, but that didn't dissuade her from not giving us as much attention as other patrons with bigger tabs. I ordered the french dip and my brother got boneless wings tossed in the honey old bay sauce. This is definitely elevated bar food (with great portion sizes to boot): my sandwich had freshly baked bread and came with fresh cut fries and a savory au jus. My brother commented and said his wings tasted like they were battered and fried to order. The prices are moderate -- given the level of service, the taste of the food, and the portions, we definitely felt like we got our money's worth. I'm happy to add this to place to my rotation -- just proof once again that sometimes the best places are the most unassuming!
