Very interesting place. It's a large space; has an expansive bar area which spoke to me over the various dining rooms. The bar is decorated so that it feels like a "giardino all'italinana". Got excellent service from barkeep Jennifer. Ecco Domani merlot is lovely. Since it was a Wednesday, got 50% off the bottle. Loved that. Piazza Mia has a fair amount of wine on hand, and a lot of it is Italian, of course. Crab-stuffed mushrooms are above average, not soggy, and flavored lightly so that the crab shines through. Small pizzas are reasonably priced and respectable. Chocolate lava cake with ice cream is yummy. As other yelpers have noted, this is a unique spot. The love of food, family and Italian culture is all around.

Making a stop in Maryland and felt like Italian. Looked up reviews and decided on Piazza Mia. Very good choice. I tried the Trio which has lasagna, fettucine alfredo, and chicken parm. Fettucine great, lasagna and chicken parm good. I would suggest not pounding down the chicken as thin as they do. I had the house salad with a great ranch dressing. My wife had the Bianco white pie which she adored along with a nice Caesar salad. Good bread to start it off. One of the owners came by and we swapped stories about Brooklyn. Nice place that you should try next time.

First time trying this place and wish I had sooner. Very pleasant surprise. Ordered two pizzas and my daughter had the seafood pasta. A basket of warm rolls started the meal with olive oil mix to dunk in. My wife and I had soup which was homemade and very good. She had the minestrone and I had the pasta fagiole with sausage. My pizza was sausage and pepperoni and my wife got the white pizza. The crust on the pizzas really stood out and I thought they were excellent. Our server was very friendly. Returned a week later. I stuck with the Americana pizza. Wife got spaghetti and meatballs and daughter got rigatoni with marinara sauce. I had to try the meatball for "evaluation purposes " and it was excellent. Wife and daughter loved the sauce so moving rating up to 5 stars

Our neighbors have been raving about the braised short ribs here for as long as we've known them. We finally went to the restaurant with them and can now agree, this is an excellent meal. My mother ordered the short ribs, and I stuck to the tried and true shrimp carbonara. Her only substitution was to switch the risotto for spinach, resulting in a much lower carb count for her meal. There was no helping the carb count for me, massive amounts of linguine under heavy cream sauce was well worth the extra pound or two. This place is not in every day sort of meal, especially in Camden Delaware. The prices are slightly higher, the quality is slightly better, and in general the dining room is nicer than other places around here. It's a great spot to go with your neighbors and catch up. It's a good spot to go when you need to remember how nice it is to sit at a table with friends and share an excellent meal.

I went with friends for dinner. When you first walk in the door you are greeted by a person who seated us. Once at our table, our waitress Kim was quick and efficient. She got our drink order and gave us a few minutes to talk and figure out what we wanted. The food came quickly and was delicious. I ordered the chicken parm. It was very delicious!!! The chicken was fresh and moist, there was plenty of cheese and sauce. My only complaint was I was not offered fresh parmigiana cheese to sprinkle on my food. Other than that the restaurant was very clean and had a cozy atmosphere. I would recommend for a date night or dinner with friends.

This is the central joke of the The Wine Bar and Italian Kitchen, which sits like a well dressed guest who has wandered into the wrong party and decided to stay anyway. It lives inside The Food Hall at The Borgata, elevated just enough to suggest importance, but not quite enough to escape the gravitational pull of the surrounding chaos. The ambiance is odd. Not necessarily bad mind you, just...existential. You sip wine while someone nearby debates chicken tenders. It keeps you humble. And yet, the food. The food is very good. Complimentary bread arrived with olive oils and olives, which felt like a small act of kindness in a noisy universe. My wife and I began with a meatball appetizer special, a wise decision that rewarded us immediately. Six petite, tender and rich meatballs, the kind that makes you briefly forgive the invention of fast casual dining. I had the lasagna, layered and comforting, like a well organized memory. She had the chicken parmigiana, which achieved that rare balance of crisp and tender, as if someone in the kitchen still actually cared about cause and effect. Both dishes were executed with confidence, the kind that suggests this kitchen knows exactly what it is doing, even if the room around it is having an identity crisis. The wine was not bad. Not transcendent, not life altering, but entirely capable of doing its job, which is to make you slightly more agreeable to everything. Service was also very good. Attentive without hovering, present without becoming a character in the story. Four stars, because the food and service deserve applause, but the setting feels like dining inside a thought that has not quite been finished. Still, if you find yourself at The Borgata and hungry for an Italian meal that rises above its surroundings, this is a very good place to sit, eat, and wonder how you got there.

This restaurant is located on the top of the Cambria hotel. I heard it was popular, but even with a reservation we had to wait over 25 minutes to be sat at our table. And our table was a high top right in the bar area which was a little disappointing. It was up against a window that I'm sure would have given us an amazing view but it was already so dark outside. The interior of the restaurant was also extremely dim. Because of where we were sat it was extremely loud and I felt a little stuffed into the seat since there was a party of 5 directly behind me sitting. The menu is expansive. We obviously celebrated with a bottle of wine and our server Nina (I think that was her name) was very attentive and always made sure our glasses were filled. The bread was delicious and we decided on a couple tapas. It was hard to eat just because the table was tiny. The food was beautifully presented and came out staggered which was nice. The steak was great, the calamari was very standard. And the crab fritters tasted like a lot of filler.. our favorite was the mushroom and scallop risotto. I'm not a scallop girl but the risotto was cooked beautifully and had such a savory unique buttery flavor that I'm still thinking about! I'd come here again but 10000% please make a reservation!! Every town, burg, or community - however large or small - should be the proud possessor of at least…read moreone... Bistro, that is. A cozy little restaurant that serves up delightfully delicious food in a decidedly casual setting. And in Havre de Grace, The Vineyard Wine Bar fills this niche with a subtle sense of style. As the name suggests, wine has played a significant role in Vineyard's obvious success. So much so, in fact, that not only does the restaurant sport a superb compendium of vintages by the glass and bottle, its lunch and dinner menus are also divided into categories - Light Bodied, Medium Bodied, Full Bodied - that correspond to specific types of wines. Yes, wine is definitely the name of the game... But don't let that fool you. The kitchen also has a great deal to say... and all of it good. The food here is excellent in every respect, as is the service. If I lived in HdG, I have absolutely no doubt that I would be tempted to dine here every day of the week. The Vineyard is everything a great bistro should be - and then some. But I begin to digress... As you have undoubtedly surmised from the above remarks, our dinner here was an extraordinarily satisfying experience. My dining partner and I began by sharing the Bruschetta Trio. Bruschetta is an Italian appetizer that begins with grilled bread topped with garlic and olive oil and then adds a variety of toppings. In this case, the finishing touches consisted of a luscious garlic spread, sundried tomato and basil pestos, melted mozzarella, and house marinated tomatoes with a balsamic glaze. While most incarnations of bruschetta may be consumed manually, Vineyard's substantially succulent variations on the theme (as you will note from the photograph above) demanded the ministrations of both knife & fork and were well worth the effort... Incredibly and unforgettably delicious. As we moved on to what would be considered the entrée or main course, options were numerous and varied... from Cornish Game Hen to Crispy Skin Duck... Venison to Dakota Steak... Lamb Vindaloo to Pesto Bucatini... ... On this particular evening, however, matters piscatorial appeared to take precedence. My dining partner was absolutely ecstatic with her Tuna Bites. Which is precisely what they were... diminutive squares of blackened tuna luxuriating in a Creole remoulade (a creamy, mayonnaise-based sauce originating in France). A definite "wow" factor at work here. On the other hand, my Mango Glazed Salmon was equally up to the mark... First of all, it was wild caught, which I much prefer (with rare exception) to the farmed variety. Secondly, as with most species of fish, salmon tends to be prone to both over and under cooking. Here, however, it was perfectly prepared - cooked through but still moist and succulent at the core - superbly complemented by a slightly smokey red pepper coulis (a smooth sauce made from puréed and strained fruits or vegetables), and companioned by lemon & herb risotto and roasted asparagus spears. On to the wine... With regard to both taste and texture, tuna and salmon are certainly among finny fare's heartiest representatives. Thus, despite the oft-quoted dictum, "Red wine with meat, white wine with fish," and the gentle urgings of our server in that direction, I have always found that salmon and pinot noir are - somewhat akin to lamb and red Bordeaux - a match made in heaven. And, in this instance, the 2022 Lundeen Mon Père Pinot Noir from Oregon's Willamette Valley proved to be a perfect match for my companion's blackened tuna bites as well. Dessert was a special treat. Naturally, many of the usual familiar sweet endings were present and accounted for. And, given the superior quality of the cuisine thus far, I had no doubt whatsoever that they would have acquitted themselves with suitable aplomb. For some reason, however, my dining companion and I were both drawn to the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake (pictured), which we decided to share... and, which, as it turned out, proved to be one of the high points of our evening. This was an intriguing amalgam indeed: The sweetness of taste being more influenced by the former; the firmness of texture by the latter. It is - if you will pardon the seemingly psychological digression - what we might consider a type of "gastronomic Gestalt," in which the whole is greater than the mere sum of its parts. In other words, the components of Crème Brûlée and Cheesecake have been combined... and from this fascinating combination there has emerged a new dessert that is even more desirable than the components have been individually. Well... call it what you will. I just know that it was so incredibly delicious that I would return at a moment's notice just to indulge my taste buds once again.

We drove up on a Saturday late afternoon in Aug 2025 and found parking across Main Street. There are other free lots nearby and sometimes a free shuttle around town on Sat and Sun. While waiting for the music, we staked out a table among some that people had reserved ahead of time in front of the wine shop, with other tables just outside the lot and more across the quiet side-street. From the wine shop, we got a nice little pinot noir to take home. They offered plastic glasses and a bucket full of ice, so we could have had that during the concert. They also have beers and ciders, gourmet snacks, and many clever and original accessories and crafts. The wine shop's owner encouraged up to walk to nearby Joe's Deli, and across to the Patapsco Distillery where the band set up under a small canopy, and we also got some food and drink from them for our table. And there's a sweet little ice cream shop across Main Street too! The band played light rock and folk and people were relaxed in conversations and enjoyment of the music. The gentle breeze kept us cool under sun-shielding umbrellas. This is nicely done weekly pair of concert, and the welcoming hostess and cooperative nearby shops make this a pleasant way to visit Sykesville on a Friday or Saturday evening, continuing through Nov 8th.

Colorful clothing hang up in display, palm size houses tucked away behind rocks, and a cozy outdoor seating area are the first things to great you as you approach the store. Once inside, you'll find yourself in a claustrophobic den, filled with locally made goods such as clothing, foodstuffs, and art as well as wall to wall wines. Choices are plenty despite the small size of the store and at reasonable prices. For those living nearby, be sure to check out Vine on Main's wine club to get more wine at better values. The real highlight of Vine on Main is the owner, who is the sweetest woman you'll meet. She's highly knowledgeable about all the products in the shop, even the non-alcoholic ones and is more than happy to share information about them. Not only does she have excellent wine and booze recommendation, but she'll even offer some free samples if you ask her nicely. Plan on shopping around the area? She'll take your order, bag it, and leave it to the side so that you can pick it up when you're all done instead of lugging around heavy bottles.
