Charcuterie board after we had already cut into the burrata ball.

My husband and I went here for date night. We got calamari, bruschetta, and we built a charcuterie board. The food was 10/10. Our favorite was the Burrata ball that was in our board. They had a couple of huge parties come in without reservations and they handled it wonderfully. Leah the manager took care of us mostly and she was so amazing, personable and knowledgeable. She was assisting her waiters and tending to the bar customers. Eventually we did meet Jesus who was supposed to be our waiter, he was so nice and provided quick and efficient service at the end. Overall, highly recommend for the perfect date night in AC!

Yes it's located in a food court in the hidden food court downstairs in the Borgata but what a good find! Most of the seating is high top tables that overlook the food court. I give it five stars because the service was great and the meatballs, wine tasting and affogato were all so good. The wine tasting consisted of 4 wines. Two white and two red. The meatballs were served with a toasted piece of bread with a smear of very smooth ricotta, Dessert- we shared an affogato that was served with haagen daz ice cream that was in the food court as well. Great spot for a casual meal that is away from the restaurants in the hotel. Highly recommended - lots of other options in the food court as well.

This is the best unknown spot if you're visiting Borgata. I make it a point to visit at least once whenever I'm staying at the hotel, and I would come more regularly if I were a local. Jesus is an attentive server with excellent wine and food recommendations. Russell prepares outstanding fresh food and undoubtedly the best charcuterie tray in town. You can watch them slice the meat and prepare the cheese. Every dish has been excellent, and I've tried the lasagna, rigatoni versions, bruschetta, and a few other items besides charcuterie. If you like sesame seeds, you'll be hooked on their toasted bread, and the olive oil is top-notch quality. Please take a well-deserved break from the casino floor and ride the escalator to the food hall. They have linen tablecloths and fabulous stemware. Between the service and the food, you will not be disappointed.

Then place went downhill from out last visit a couple years ago (which we loved). There was a total of 3 groups people there eating (including us) yet our waitress was nowhere to be found after she took our order. We had to beckon a gentlemen from behind the counter to ask a question about our food. As we're eating a woman in street clothes comes out of the back with a couple bowls of food. She sets them up on a table and strategically is taking picture of the food with her phone. It was very odd and distracting! The calamari was so greasy. The marinated mushrooms were just ok and didn't taste fresh. My husbands Caesar salad was just ok. My wedge salad was as horrible! The dressing was gross and not go with the salad whatsoever. The surprise dessert was very thoughtful (new job promotion for me) however it wasn't good at all. We both picked a couple bites of it since we didn't want to be rude. A rather underwhelming experience and unfortunately after this experience we will find another restaurant in Borgata.

This is definitely a hidden gem. Service is great. Good food. Good portions and well priced. The wait staff were very accommodating and we met Manny, the chef. The Bolognese is delish. Good ragu! Will definitely come back next time I stay in MGM Towers/The Water Club. Bellissimo!

The Wine Bar is a hidden gem located on the lower lower in the Borgata Hotel Casino. It is an intimate space with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, and the wine list is extensive. The menu features a variety of tapas and small plates, all of which are designed to be paired with wine. There are several larger entrees available. The wine list is one of the best in Atlantic City. There are wines from all over the world, and the staff is very knowledgeable about the different selections. They are happy to make recommendations based on your taste preferences. If you are a lover of vintage wines we recommend you stop by and check out the wine bar‍

The food was great and the servers were attentive. We had a large group and they got everything right. Would definitely go here again.

Booths line the edges like polite sentries and the bar itself is lined with slot/video poker machines in case you feel like doubling your disappointment. I arrived with a party of four just 45 minutes before last call on a Tuesday. You would think that would be enough time for a few drinks and a few laughs. You would be wrong. There was a man in a suit behind the bar doing what I can only assume was performance art meant to mimic sabotage. There was a bar back who had the dazed expression of a man recently asked to name all the moons of Jupiter in alphabetical order. The bartender moved with the speed and confidence of a tortoise delivering bad news to a hungry bobcat. Service was a game of drink-by-drink roulette. He took our orders one at a time in the most literal sense. One person would speak. He would leave. He would return eventually with something resembling said dink. Another person would speak. He would leave again. Rinse. Repeat. We might have been speaking in code and he was off deciphering it at the opposite corner of the bar. The drinks were okay. Not good. Not bad. Okay. The menu was fun to look at though. They called them potions. In the VooDoo Lounge. How clever. It was the highlight of the visit and the only reason I gave them a second star. That and the fact that I did not actually die there. Oh and the prices. Nineteen dollars to sip Instragramable mediocrity from a glass shaped like regret.

Well, the "Irish Pub" you know from the Monopoly game is actually this real property, "The Irish Pub and Inn", here on St. James Place in Atlantic City. Also, the game's iconic red hotel design inspired the game's red hotels, making it a real-life landmark for Monopoly fans. During most of the year, this legendary, 24/7 pub is famous for its unique, memorabilia-filled atmosphere and historical ties to AC, the Monopoly game, prohibition, etc., attracting visitors who enjoy its authentic, home-style vibe. But during Christmas, its decorations are on a whole other level of amazingness. Photos will not permit you to understand just how fantastic the volume and scope of lights, ornaments and figurines abound all around the restaurant and bar areas. The owner starts decorating weeks before Christmas adding new items each day through Christmas. You can't miss catching the Christmas spirit here, while taking in some spirits! It is a cash only venue. Make sure to come prepared. But if not? They do have an ATM onsite to help pay for the classic fish and chips or / AND the St James Potatoes. Those fries are like a poutine for those who know. The service is no frills but provided with pride and a smile, always. You can never go wrong here for a quick, basic, and satisfying meal and drink at reasonable prices in good company.

We sat at a table for awhile but finally asked the bartender to request our server. A server came over and said she would let our server know we were waiting. After 20 minutes we decided to move to seats at the bar. The bartenders are the reason for two stars. They were so nice and were constantly checking on their customers. The confusing part is that you can't order food from the bartenders. So we had to wait for a server....ugghhhh! The funny (well, not so funny) part is the server comes over and asks if we were sitting at a table for awhile....when we said yes she said was busy eating her chicken tenders and didn't know that was her section. Just completely laughed it off. So now we were stuck sitting at the bar and still had her as a server. It turned out ok though. Just a confusing process having to pay two separate checks. Then we couldn't use our casino coupons or comps for the drinks. We had to pay with our credit card. The food was ok. The peel n eat shrimp were the best in taste and value. Mozzarella sticks and wings were good. I didn't care for the coconut shrimp tacos. And the funniest thing? We casually asked if the sushi on the menu was any good and both bartenders and the server all said NO. Their expressions said it all. Ha!

The bar occasionally offers live music, but my favorite time to visit is during the holidays, when they turn it into a festive Christmas spot with holiday beverages. There are fun decorations, strands of lights, Home Alone 2 playing on the televisions, and much more to really get you in the holiday spirit. I most recently tried the Pomegranate Margarita on their seasonal menu and thought it was excellent; it was not too sweet or too weak. I should note that there are rarely servers in the lounge area, so you typically need to go up to the bar to place an order, which can disrupt the flow of fun you might be having.
