    "fish bowl"
    Deni B.

1 star for halfway decent food and 1 star for the ambiance. That's about it. Started off with ordering a fish bowl drink which is $6 more than regular but somehow the exact same size. Great scam to begin with, but it didn't end there! For sandwiches, they ask if you'd like chips or potato wedges. You'd assume these are the 2 options that come with the sandwich but they upcharge an additional $4 without warning for the potato wedges. $18 is already steep for the sandwiches they're selling but to increase it even more is just laughable. Then, we ordered a tequila shot. It sat on the table until the waiter brought over another plate of potato wedges. He put the plate down and pushed it onto the table immediately knocking over the tequila shot. He said "Oh" and offered a towel for us to wipe it off. He did not replace the shot and it was still on the bill when we left. The food was fine. Definitely over-salted. I got the Captain's Cajun Seafood Bake which was piled into a small takeout container. I guess I assumed there'd be more food for $27, especially when the shells took up so much of that limited real estate! All of the potatoes at the bottom were completely soggy. I will say, sitting on the picnic table by the water with live music was great. The vibes are perfect if you're looking for a cute place with incredibly overpriced food.

Great views, nice food selection. The day we visited they had music outside. They have a nice cocktail menu, enjoyed a nice rum drink.

Great spot for a few drinks and finger food. I had the pina colada and hock was very good. They had live outdoor music which was a nice touch. The outdoors is very cool. Near trees and the ocean. Very relaxing. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend it. The owners came to our table and were super friendly.

This place is such a hidden gem I almost don't want to give it away! Feels like being in a neighbor's backyard and even on July 4th was chill and totally uncrowded. Food is solid, especially the clams and burgers. But the atmosphere is enough on its own -- so much space, calm, live music....perfection!

My husband and I had the best time with our dogs here! The atmosphere was great! Beautiful views, great music and phenomenal food. We will be frequenting there this summer!

Awesome place hidden in an area (Kammerman's Marina) that you'd never find without Yelp or hearing by word of mouth. When you pull up there's a big chance you will think you're at the wrong place. It seemed to be a locals spot. We parked in a small area and saw the outdoor bar/restaurant right there. We walked by some corn hole and life size connect four games and over by the bar. We chose to sit over by the water in an uncovered area, until it started pouring and we ran under the covered outdoor area with the 2 other tables. This place is right on the water and very divey and laid back. Divey isn't an insult, it appears to be pretty new and very well designed. Some people showed up via boat and jetski and others parked right on the dock to fill up with gas. Now to the food, the Jerk Chicken sandwich was AMAZING. I'm not a slaw guy but the cilantro lime slaw and grilled pineapple on the sandwich was delicious, a great brioche roll and the chicken of course was perfect. My girlfriend had the Adult Grilled Cheese, which was Gouda & Monterey Jack cheese on a sourdough bread which appeared to have some herbs on it. She loved it. Both sandwiches came with chips and pickles (although I realized after there were no pickles). I also had a margarita which was solid. Prices were all fair, $13 for the chicken sandwich, $10 for the grilled cheese and $8 for the margarita. Staff and food were excellent. We loved the vibe here, with great music playing and a very chill, laid back atmosphere. Can't wait to spread the word and come back next time we're in town!

We went here during a mini getaway to Atlantic City this summer because we heard great things. The outside setting is lovely and tranquil. Our male waiter seemed standoffish but whatever. My bf had a jerk chicken sandwich which he liked, and I had a bacon bbq burger which was decent enough. We shared an order of clams with sausage; they charged us $4 for literally 4 medallion slices of sausage added to the clams. Underwhelming and Ridiculous! This place is way overpriced for the service and quality of food. Drinks were tiny and meh. Sirens is hyped up, but at least we crossed it off our list. Watching the sunset was nice at least. I gave this place 3 stars instead of 2 for its setting alone.

The view !!!!! 100 % five star view !!! The menu wasn't very appealing to us ,so we went with drinks . I chose the Siren Bowl (14.00) called sirens spiked water that has Bacardi rum,Malibu, blackberry Brandy ,banana liquor, pineapple juice, blue Curacao & lime juice. I wAs only able to drink half before I felt a lil yuck. Way too many sweet liquids for me . Hubby had a can of Corona. They have cool games to play Cornhole & giant Connect 4. They have a live band certain times/days ,so one was playing tonight (5pm). Boats were docking up to this place for they have a mini gas station for them right along the dock. Very cute menus (mermaid tails) the jerk chicken looked good I noticed at another table but their appetizer menu could use some work.

I've had Sirens on my radar since last year. I was patiently waiting for it to open for the summer and ended up visiting this Friday! I assumed there would be a wait when we arrived around 9 pm, instead there were many available tables. Cute string lights were hanging and there was a live singer overlooking all of the casinos and marina. This really is an incredible location to be. The menu had great options for both drinks and food. We ordered as follows; - jerk chicken strips - grilled mahi mahi bowl - jerk chicken griller sandwich - grapefruit stoli fish bowl, sea cucumber fish bowl and life's a peach fish bowl ($19-$20 each) I had mixed reviews on everything we ordered. To start, the grilled mahi bowl was both fresh and delicious. The jerk chicken strips were very dry and didn't have much "jerk" to it. This goes for the sandwich as well. There were also very few pieces of sausage in the sandwich. Moving on to the fish bowls, I have to agree with the reviews indicating the quantity. Looking at the pictures before I got to Sirens, I was expecting the fish bowls to be bigger than they actually were for the price that they were. Understanding the uniqueness of this idea, you can get cheaper drinks in NYC/Hoboken/JC. I just felt a bit ripped off. Aside from that, the staff and owners were very attentive and kind. This wouldn't stop me from returning but I would stay away from the overpriced cocktails and stick to a beer instead.

Booz in bowl...What could be better

Not sure why the previous review from Jeff R is negative, Especially when he visited on Memorial Day weekend... Gee ya think one of the best spots around would be busy on a holiday weekend... Anyway, Sirens is the real deal for casual fun with an awesome vibe. Very popular with those in the know...Food is solid and the service is tight. Very creative Caribbean theme and a good time for everyone. Fantastic view of the water and skyline, but get there early to see what all the talk is about Live music too Our server, Kirsten was kind, courteous and very responsive to our needs. Will soooo be back A definite must visit Oh almost forgot... They serve their house crafted cocktails in a bowl!! What the hell could be better then booze in a bowl!!

While the beach is great in AC, I feel you truly have to get away from the Boardwalk to experience some incredible dining, great food and fantastic scenery. And that's exactly what Sirens Bar and Grill delivers. We knew we wanted to do some outdoor dining, and were torn between this and one other place in the immediate area and SO glad we chose Sirens! It's definitely in an area by itself. Some of the other reviews stating you'll feel lost before stumbling on it may be slightly exaggerated, since as soon as you turn on the street, there are signs indicating the Bar and Grill are there. After walking thru the parking lot, you are met with a wonderful beer-garden-esque environment. Full grills to cook the food, a couple of bars, some seating on the dock on the waterfront, picnic tables, games, all set up in a cozy space. The food list is not extensive, but it's fresh and includes a great mix of healthy options. We started with the Jerk Shrimp - 6 huge pieces of peel and eat shrimp in one of the tastiest seasonings ever. As soon as the first one hit our mouths, we knew we were in for a great meal! We then had the Jerk Chicken sandwich, and the Grilled Fish Reuben (with upgrades to potato wedges for each) - and neither one disappointed! The food was super flavorful and perfect portions. We were fortunate enough to get there right before sunset, and thoroughly enjoyed watching the sky change colors - providing and incredible backdrop to both the casinos across the marina to our left, and the boats coming in for the evening on our right. We decided to have a few more glasses of wine to prolong the experience while we snapped away photo after photo that no Instagram filter could improve upon. Our server, Ashley M, was attentive, very friendly and exactly what you look for during a great meal. The owner also visited our table (major apology for not taking down her name), and was super nice and friendly as well. It's places like this that you want to see succeed!! I can't recommend this place enough - especially during sunset. Our only regret was not being able to visit one more time before we left!

This was our second visit to Sirens, and everything was consistently amazing. The food is delicious - try the short rib sandwich, make sure to add provolone. The bread is fresh, soft semolina and it completely makes the sandwich. This time we did fishbowls - so good and worth it. $15 each and its the equivalent of two drinks. Plenty of outdoor seating, picnic tables, stools, etc. Great off-the-beaten-path local hotspot!

2nd time here and it lived up to the memory! Very happy with the food we ordered, short rib sandwich and little neck clams and meatballs! So good. Gina was friendly and helpful. Glad we came back

Booths line the edges like polite sentries and the bar itself is lined with slot/video poker machines in case you feel like doubling your disappointment. I arrived with a party of four just 45 minutes before last call on a Tuesday. You would think that would be enough time for a few drinks and a few laughs. You would be wrong. There was a man in a suit behind the bar doing what I can only assume was performance art meant to mimic sabotage. There was a bar back who had the dazed expression of a man recently asked to name all the moons of Jupiter in alphabetical order. The bartender moved with the speed and confidence of a tortoise delivering bad news to a hungry bobcat. Service was a game of drink-by-drink roulette. He took our orders one at a time in the most literal sense. One person would speak. He would leave. He would return eventually with something resembling said dink. Another person would speak. He would leave again. Rinse. Repeat. We might have been speaking in code and he was off deciphering it at the opposite corner of the bar. The drinks were okay. Not good. Not bad. Okay. The menu was fun to look at though. They called them potions. In the VooDoo Lounge. How clever. It was the highlight of the visit and the only reason I gave them a second star. That and the fact that I did not actually die there. Oh and the prices. Nineteen dollars to sip Instragramable mediocrity from a glass shaped like regret.

There was a live pianist taking requests, and he was good. Competent, even charming, although his frequent reminders that songs will be played in order of greatest tip to least made us think his salary was entirely gratuity based. He played what people wanted to hear across a wide spread of genres, which is a kind of small miracle. Still, it felt like a watered down substitute for something that once had a pulse. The ghost in the room was Gypsy Bar, which used to offer actual live music on weekends. Closing it was, in my opinion, a small but meaningful cultural error. Now, between B Bar, Long Bar, and this place, the Borgata has achieved a kind of perfectly acceptable sameness. Three bars, none of them offensive, none of them memorable. My wife ordered her usual gin and tonic, a drink that asks for very little and is satisfied when it receives it. I went with a Sazerac, motivated by the presence of absinthe, which I had somehow avoided my entire life. It turns out absinthe does not cause hallucinations, unless you count the fleeting belief that you are having a more interesting drink than everyone else. Still, it was well made and nicely presented, as was hers. Service was slow, which felt odd given that the bar was not especially crowded. Not neglectful, just unhurried in a way that made you aware of time passing. Prices were what one expects in a casino hotel lobby. High enough to remind you where you are. In the end, it is fine. Perfectly fine. You'll probably get a pretty good drink, you might hear a pleasant song, and except for your wallet, you'll leave no worse off than when you arrived. But you may also find yourself remembering something better that used to exist in the same building, and wondering why it doesn't anymore. Four stars, though at least half of one of them is doing a fair amount of emotional labor.
