Inception burger
Matthew B.

First time there in its current incarnation. The place was packed and I can see why. Great selection of beer on tap, live music and great food with large portions and decent prices. Inception burger was to die for and the charred brussels sprouts were great. If there was a downside it was that the service was a bit slower than I'd like and that they don't manage to combine the check from the bar and the "restaurant" together --even though the bar and the restaurant are "together". Will definitely make another trip.

This place is a diamond in the rough! It's location is off the beaten path which makes it very quant and the wooded scenery is very comforting to sit in ! It removes you from the hustle and bustle of all that's going on in the world ! They have live music and music trivia and every night they have different specials to choose from and they usually are all very delicious and foods from different parts of the country , each entree is made from scratch so the wait on your order is longer than other places but your food is fresh and prepared with passion because the chef actually enjoys and cares about what is served to his customers ! Lately the service has been not as good but that is mainly due to having new servers who aren't experienced or have had training but that's fixable and they will fix it but right now in any buisness it's not easy to find people yo hire and it's hard to find people who have good work ethics who know how to work hard with good customer service skills , but that's not here every employee is nice and tries to make every customer have a great positive experience and with more experience the servers here will become great but the food is perfection and always tasty !! Love going here and the owners are great people , very personable and they are very down to earth and very interested in how you are being taken care of and if you are enjoying your food and if not they will do what is needed to make you happy !! Forgot to mention all the different options of drinks to choose from !! They have tons of beers on tap , local and country wide made and world wide made beers are on tap here

Both entrees, chicken and waffle (back), fried chicken sandwich (front)

I've heard good things about the Righteous Tap House and since we went for a walk on a trail close by, we decided to stop in for lunch. I think I ordered every beer that they were out of but the waitress was nice and made some great recommendations to substitute what I was looking for. I ordered the Friend Chicken Sandwich and the husband had the Chicken and Waffles. He really enjoyed his and I have to say that the gravy on top of the chicken and waffles was so good. My fried chicken sandwich was really good too. They give you a big piece of chicken with cheese and peppers. The atmosphere of the restaurant isn't much to boast about but as long as they keep on having good food and beer then I shall return.

Great selection!

Gone are the days of mediocre beer and overpriced food! Whoaaaa, this new bar is such a huge step up from what I've experienced through the years of visiting. It's basically like transferring from dccc to Yale. My friend and I stopped in today after hearing such great things about this newer spot. This place is absolutely beautiful. I kept walking around taking pictures. You're welcome Yelp. ;) whoever decorated this place should be on HGTV. The male urinal was a keg. Historically this could be my first yelp review that mentioned the mens urinal but hey it was noteworthy. Multiple items on the menu caught my eye but I wasn't very hungry so I settled on the hummus plate. My friend ordered the inquisition burger. Saying he devoured it is an understatement. I even made a Snapchat story showcasing his contest like speed. When I say it had at least 12 views I'm not embellishing. Lol. My hummus was very good! Such a great portion. Would be good for 2-3 people to share. Fresh pita was served with kalamata olives, roasted peppers, cucumbers in addition to the hummus with feta. The draft beer list was broad to say the least and the helpful bartender helped me sample to see what I liked best. They had 3 plus sours on the menu which is a rarity from my experiences. Righteous Taphouse exceeded all expectations! I look forward to my return and I intend to bring anyone and everyone I've ever known in my 30+ years of life. Welcome Righteous TH, do the community a favor and stick around!

There is a cute outside patio but we ate at the bar with the seasoned veterans. Our waitress had the right amount of spice to add to this dining adventure. I saw the reviews for The Trapp Door on Yelp and we just had to stop. Having said that - had we not known we had a destination we would have completely driven past. On the outside it's a completely unassuming place that you would think only draws a local crowd as the town bar. Let me tell you.....first appearances are completely deceiving. The Trapp Door is just a magical secret. Ok so maybe it's not a secret to many but I will tell you why it's worth driving to. Philly people - you must come here! NJ people - you too! If you look up the definition of Gastropub - this is it. I've traveled all over the world and tried many who claim to be Gastropubs - this place is the true definition. The service is as friendly as you can get. They make you feel comfortable and as if you were a local and as if you have known them forever. We were 3 guests and as appetizers we had the bone marrow and the duck confit, then had the smoked trout and the Spanish chorizo. The duck, bone marrow and home made smoked trout ( and I'm not necessarily a fish fan) were absolutely amazing. Already dreaming about. Seriously -to write home about. The chorizo was good but average. Then we split a burger - medium rare - and let me tell you - if you are craving a burger - you will fall in love! Cooked exactly as we had requested. They also had homemade condiments. Phenomenal. One of us decided we should order desserts and many times after having such a great meal - I'm apprehensive of ruining it by ordering dessert since sometimes it's not a speciality and leaves you a bit disappointed. Yeah, no. You will just be even more in love. We had the pumpkin crème brûle ( Im over all the pumpkin and was apprehensive however it was spectacular and the pumpkin was true pumpkin - not forced). We also had the ginger apple cobbler - wow! Ginger is just right. The dough was perfectly light and fluffy and crispy. A hard trifecta to master. The beverages and beers do not disappoint and need little introduction. This places deserves a visit. Make your way there even if a bit out of the way. It's worth every single extra mile. You won't be disappointed. We will be back. Thank you to Abby (try the drink named after her. She's just as nice), Taylor, Sue and the chef - Nate Thatcher. Wow!!!! I may have set the bar too high ( no I haven't) so let me lower it - so I'll close with. Yeah go try it. It's ok. He he he he.

We were promptly seated in a mostly full dining area just to the right of the entrance around 12:30 pm on a Thursday. The dining room was spacious with plenty of room between tables though the booths are a tad tight. A large bar area with lots of TVs looked appealing as well. Drinks were quickly ordered and served as we perused the menu. While we had both looked at the menu prior to coming, and had an idea of what we wanted, there were so many appealing options that we second guessed a little as we made the tough decisions to not order way more than we could consume. Finally we decided on The Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with fries, the Ribeye Cheesesteak with fries, and a bowl of the Tomato, Bacon Mac & Cheese with the agreement to split the sandwiches and mac & cheese so we could both try additional items. Three very full and visually appealing plates of food arrived quickly (about 10-12 minutes after ordering) and we were ready to dig in. First up was the Ribeye Cheesesteak with caramelized stout onions, truffled local mushrooms, and sharp provolone on a Liscio's roll. Immediately viewable was the limited amount of cheese that was only lining the roll and not mixed into the meat in any way. Biting into the sandwich revealed a dry meat with a distinctly non-cheesesteak flavor. It wasn't bad, but it just tasted like a bland steak and cheese sandwich. The sharp provolone didn't make it to the party and had no noticeable presence. After eating half of my portion I added some ketchup which helped some with the dryness. This was a 25 out of 5 and I wouldn't bother ordering it again. I also started to consume the shoestring french fries while I ate the cheesesteak, and they were delicious. Crisp with just the right amount of salt. 4.5 out of 5. Next up was the Hot Roast Beef Sandwich with thinly shaved Black Angus beef that is roasted daily, served with Au Jus, and horseradish sauce on a long roll. Topped with cheese and loaded with meat, this is what I was most looking forward to and couldn't wait to take a bite. I wish I hadn't! By itself, this was probably the blandest sandwich I have ever had in my life, while dipping into the Au Jus definitely improved the flavor, it still wasn't enough. I tried adding the horseradish sauce, but that was a sad approximation of real horseradish. Worst of all was the meat itself, where I had three different bites that were fatty/gristly and couldn't be chewed. Can't say I've ever had that from a roast beef sandwich before. 1.5 out of 5. Lastly, we had the Tomato, Bacon Mac & Cheese consisting of cavatappi pasta, applewood smoked bacon, and some diced tomato. This was sadly also a disappointment. The quality of the cheese left something to be desired and the sauce was very runny in consistency even after letting it sit for 10 mins while everything else was eaten. Another bland dish that neither of us even bothered to finish or box up to take home. Ketchup couldn't save this. 2 out of 5. Other than the fries, the only other bright spot was the service. Our waitress Isabella was polite, attentive, and performed her job well. Refilling drinks and making sure we were taken care of. 5 out of 5 for service. Affordability... for the three dishes and two Diet Cokes the total came to $57.27 with tax plus a $12 tip. The portion sizes were strong, but the flavor eliminated any value proposition. Overall, the food looked far better than it tasted and I was really disappointed in the meal. I had hoped I'd found a good local pub to take family and friends, but The Stone Tavern doesn't cut it. 2 out of 5 rating with no good reason to return.

After my second hike no question that I wanted to come back here for another visit. Station Taproom is an attractive and comfortable pub with what I found to be an unexpected menu. Many dishes had an Asian influence, but with the additional plus of showcasing some exciting combinations of ingredients. VEGAN BANH MI ::: I had this on my first visit. The sandwich was made with plant-based meatballs, along with carrots, cucumber, plus much more in the mix. (I detected a note of hoisin in the mix, though not mentioned in the menu). "Meatballs" were definitely unexpected in a banh mi. WONTON NACHOS ::: On my second visit to the Taproom, which was last week, I had "wonton nachos". As per the menu, some of the ingredients were "hoisin-berry BBQ pork" as well as mozzarella and pepper jack, and wonton chips. Presentation was important, and I could see that they had spent extra time in plating the dish. A finishing touch was the "micro cilantro" that was delicately sprinkled over the top. I love cilantro, but had never seen it in "micro" form. It was very fresh, wondering now whether they grew it themselves. BEERS ::: On both my visits, "Rachel" made excellent recommendations for hazy IPA's. Great experiences both times.
