Nice place to go for happy hour. Good wine, a little more classy than your typical bar scene. Wings are great, too.

Overpriced as heck but food was alright. Really think there is no reason for the prices. It's not a suit and tie place.

Just had a delicious crab bisque soup and lobster roll. House wine is Columbia Crest. Very tasty!

In fact, he said that he recognized a few of the staff there from the many times he'd been there before, though he hadn't been there in more recent years. Nice to have that history, and it's a charming spot - not modern like Sly Fox also in town, but I really appreciate the dive vibes! Each of us ordered a beer (I ordered an Icelandic one, which was quite nice), pretty great price on beer IMO, and the food was on point as well. I ordered chicken wings with buffalo sauce, and they tasted great! Service was pretty great - our server was attentive and swung by a good amount of times to check on us, as we sat in the corner to try to have a little less noise vs being right by the bar. She's the one that my friend said he recognized from years past. Overall I definitely appreciated this spot and would absolutely be open to returning!

I enjoyed the ambiance and found it to have something quite special with all these flying pigs around. I ordered a Margherita, which was very good. The service was excellent: quick, attentive, and friendly.

We have been going to The Whip for over 10 years now…read more THE #1 reason we keep going back is the staff. All of the staff make every meal a dining experience. The ambiance is great, especially in the warm weather, outside. The food is ALWAYS delicious, thanks to Dillon. Sarah and Tania are on top of their game behind the bar. Always scanning the bar while waiting for a pint to fill. Sheryl, Sam, Heather B and Lauren not only remember you name, but frequently what you ordered last visit. We tell all of our friends to go there. Frequently taking some with us. I think one word describes The Whip perfectly, FUN!!!

Recommend reservations on the weekends No phone service at all. Public WiFi available Outdoor seating available Valet parking only Not a full bar- beer and cider only. I was excited for the food but unfortunately it was all pretty flavorless. I know British food is usually pretty bland but as someone who's lived in the UK, I know what to expect. Pretty disappointing. Weck Egg Roll- very crispy but not much flavor. Greasy. The creamy horseradish is good Bangers and mash- potatoes are good; fluffy and creamy. Sausages are good, savory and slightly sweet Shepards pie- weird flavor. The lamb changed the whole flavor. Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream- very good. Not overly sweet. The ice cream is a nice touch. Single stall gender neutral bdthrooms- kinda gross as a girl bc there's pee all over the floor by the toilet
