Everywhere you look there is something different, even into the restroom. There is a private dining area that is beautiful. The food was pretty good. Enough that I'll come back again. My husband raved about all his food! The pizza was made in a pizza oven so it had great flavor. My sister had nothing but good things to say about her large portion of chicken and waffles. The pretzel bites may be basic to some but this basic Betty enjoyed them, their presentation and the mustard and cheese dip that went along. Our waiter was attentive the entire time. He was helpful when guiding us through the menu. Our cups were always filled and our empty plates were removed in a timely fashion to make room for things and we were not cluttered.

The lemonade seemed like it had no sugar in it, and so our party needed to add our own. After a little while, our food order started to arrive. The steak frites was yummy; well seasoned and with a nice, rich sauce. The fries were lack luster, and could have been a bit fresher. The quesadilla was served in a pool of grease. The mac and cheese was yummy, but the ordered chicken was missing entirely. It took us a while to get the server's attention, but it seemed the chicken had been sitting in the kitchen waiting that entire time as it came back very quickly. The pasta's onions were also not peeled properly, and some of the papery skin was in the dish. It was a cool place with a neat vibe, and we had high hopes. An easy choice for a laid back afternoon in King of Prussia. We stopped into Workhorse Brewing Company for a Saturday lunch and walked away genuinely impressed. The space itself is massive and well laid out, making it ideal for groups while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. Even better, it is kid friendly, which makes it a great option when you want a brewery vibe without excluding the whole family. The drink program really shines here. The beer lineup was solid across the board, with styles for just about everyone. What surprised us most was the cocktail menu. They were running seasonal Christmas renditions, including an Old Fashioned that was festive without being gimmicky and genuinely excellent. It is refreshing to find a brewery that takes cocktails seriously. Food came out quickly and was better than expected. Everything we tried was tasty, but their take on the traditional Philly cheesesteak stood out and is absolutely worth ordering. Though a slight miss for the buffalo chicken cheeseteak, as it was dry and under seasoned. Overall, Workhorse is a great place to spend an afternoon. Whether you are meeting friends, bringing a group or even showing up with kids in tow, it delivers on drinks, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

The picnic-table section is fairly fixed, though, so if you're coming with a big group and hoping to move tables around to make your own setup, this probably isn't that kind of place. I'm still never completely sure whether they prefer you to order at the bar or through the server, but if you're planning to keep everything on one check, ordering through the server seems like the easiest way to go. Inside, there are basically two rooms. One has the main bar and brewery equipment, while the room farther back has more of a comfortable living-room feel. If you have kids with you, I'd probably recommend that side. Food is usually available from food trucks, and most of the ones I've tried have been pretty good. Outside food is also allowed. If you're bringing kids, the pro move is to bring whatever they'll definitely eat. The food truck may have fries or something kid-friendly, but bringing your own takes away the gamble if the truck is busy, running slow, or out of something. Parking can be tight and on a steep hill. Check the nearby side streets or the SEPTA lot across the way. Just be careful crossing the street because there's a pretty blind turn nearby. There are plenty of TVs inside, so it's also a good spot to watch a game. One other big plus: Ten7 is right next to the train station. If taking the train happens to be convenient for you, that's probably the easiest way to get there. Limited hours but the times they are open are likely more happening.
