I see the reviews are all over the place for suburban brewing. I swung by to try the beers. I tried a flight of 4 and nothing disappointed me or were totally amazing. I just had the pretzel bites and you can't screw them up. Layout is great with reasonable prices. The location is out of my way but would try again if I am nearby. read more

So, this was a great little stop in Honey Brook. Service was awesome, our server was Courtney and she did a great job of dealing with the entire ourdoor patio. Beer was fine. Location in the middle of nowhere. However, let's discuss the War Pigs Nachos. Tortilla chips ... that makes sense. Sweet soy Sauce... what? Kim Chi ... uh.... Jalapenos .. check...... pork belly... I mean it's different.... These are Full on sticky sweet pork belly Kim chi nachos and they are amazing. I have no clue how a little brewery in the middle of Amish country has this, but I'm happy they do. I will come back again, just for the nachos. Great little place! The Grateful Dead vibes are my favorite part (and always playing good music. The live music is great too) The service is always super friendly and on point. They have upstairs seating, bar and patio. We always sit at the bar! The food is phenomenal and fresh. I love their flavor combos! My favorite is the felafel dog! So so yummy! What a lovely little taproom! They have a nice selection of beers, indoor and outdoor space, and delicious, unique menu items that diverge, ever so slightly, from the typical pub offerings. I found their China Cat Kolsch to be particularly refreshing on a hot summer day, and I loved the atmosphere. The bartenders were high energy and super responsive, and even though they had a live musician, it wasn't so loud that you couldn't hold a conversation - much appreciated. The outdoor space was small, but it's covered! If it wasn't so hot the day we visited, I would have definitely opted for al fresco. The food was pricey, but good. We split an order of crab rangoons and buffalo chicken egg rolls. What's better than fried food? Delicious fried food, that's what. I was very satiated with our meal of beer and apps. My only complaint is I loved their beer posters, but they weren't for sale. The drive to Suburban Brewing was absolutely lovely, and I can't wait to come back when I'm hungrier. Hesitant to give away my secret spot but will share so that others may enjoy. Great atmosphere and cozy. Nice open air seating in the summer. Food is great and a big step up from your average bar food and the service is always great. And the beer is good! My favorite is 322. Suburban is my favorite spot within a 15-20 mile radius of Honey Brook. Also must mention the entertainment. They have live music and other events such as trivia. The 322 Taproom location is excellent, bringing the best beer and amazing food together. Staff is superb and professional, with Mike at the bar as a primo mixologist. Wonderful craft cocktails to complement the Suburban beer selection. Love the concept of the menu and we shared the Reuben and Cerise and Philadelphia, PA Fatty Egg Rolls on this visit, plus an order of Dirty Heads (Brussels sprouts). These were all delicious and would be hard not to just keep hitting repeat on that order on future visits! My husband also got the Blue Boomer burger and raved about it. I did steal some of his fries - they were on point. I enjoyed the Lovelight NE IPA with my meal. Highly recommend this establishment! read more

Small taproom with a covered outdoor patio. They offer their own beers but also have local liquor for mixed drinks. The ambiance is nice and the service is excellent. The food was ok from our experience. If you're in the area there really isn't a whole lot of options so I would definitely choose there over the other local restaurants. read more

Garcia fries, which are breaded and fried avocado are excellent with the supplied chipotle sauce, were so good that we brought some home for dinner after our early lunch there. Keeping with the theme, we tried the quesadillas and Mexican Cousin (taquitos) - both were good with our Guten Zeiten (wheat beer) and strawberry mojito. Very casual atmosphere with garage doors and corrugated siding reminded us of a place we went to once on Lake Travis, TX. Garrett was our server and was very nice, helpful, attentive, and outgoing. My husband and I came here last Saturday for their Oktoberfest celebration. I guess we arrived early because there weren't that many people there. It was $20 for a beer mug and one beer fill then refills were $6 of any beer from the bar. They had a band playing outside which was nice. They had limited seating with four picnic tables pushed together under a tent. The food truck was out back serving delicious food. We ordered the pretzel and loaded pierogi which were both very good. We stayed for a little while because it took us a half hour to get there so might as well! As were leaving around 2:30, more people started to show up. The place is nice and the beer and food are good but since it's so far away, I'll stick to their Exton location. read more

Casual, secluded, private place for beer. It is located at the intersection of Route 10 and 322. The parking lot entrance, when coming from Route 10, is behind a mini-market near the corner. The inside seating is closed at this time due to the virus, but the beer garden and "garage" bar is open. The service was fabulous and the beers were tasty and cold. I had a flight with assorted beers which were all good. Very casual spot for beer with some cool vintage arcade games (just for display). My only suggestion is that because it was a hot day in the summer, a ceiling fan would've been helpful to keep it cool in the "garage" area. We ordered a pizza from the nearby restaurant and picked it up because they aren't serving food at this time. read more

My wife and I just left their Downingtown location. We go there at least 4 to 5 times a month. Tonight, we stopped in and the place was packed. We sat at a two-top against the window. My wife stopped by the ladies' room. I was going to order. I'll make this short: we waited 15 minutes and no one acknowledged our presence. No waitresses were to be found. Some guy with a black T-shirt carrying a towel which would've been great if we cleaned the dirty table that was available. But no, he just walked by the table 4 times. We waited 15 minutes and he didn't even glance our way. The place isn't that big to be lost. We tried to catch anyone's eye. The ironic thing about this: we were considering their Loyalty Program. 4-5 times a month. How much loyalty do they want? If this is the way they treat their Loyal customers, how good do you think that Loyalty Program is going to be? Needless to say/write, we left. And we won't be going back. The food is ok. The beer? Inconsistent. We won't be missed. There are too many other breweries to choose from just minutes away. Good luck to them. Bottom line: you don't treat your better customers that way. read more

The beer was great and it's a cool spot. We met with some friends and played the giant jenga and they also have a coin machine to play some arcade games. The bartender was very friendly and helpful and we all enjoyed our beers. The downfall was the food. Our friend, who had been before, recommended going next door to the pizza shop but we were both starving and wanted to give the food a try. We should have listened to our friend. I would not recommend coming here to eat. My husband and I ordered wings, quesadillas and a burger. For the price of everything, I would not order any again. We were very disappointed with the quality of the food. Out of the three, the quesadilla was the best. All that being said, the bartender and the beers were great and I do recommend coming for a few drinks. It has a chill atmosphere and we had a good time. read more

Came here for the first time today for my husbands 30th birthday! We were pleasantly surprised when we walked through the door. We are new to the area and we weren't sure what to except. They have TONS of drink options and were allowed to try some before we committed. The food was delicious!!! We had the chicken green salad and whiskey burger. The kids had a great time. This was easy to get to with navigation or GPS-unfortunately, there is no street signage to show people where to come in at. That's not a make or break thing for me, but certainly something to consider to bring in more business. They had 8-10 beers available on draft, two ciders, and a diverse cocktail menu, including a "Craft your own Mule". When I visited, I had a Red IPA and a Coconut IPA. I enjoyed the coconut IPA slightly more. It was delicious, enough flavor to taste the coconut but not too much to feel like you were drinking a heavy pina colatta. They offer food there courtesy of a food truck and I understand the menu changes at times to keep things interesting. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was delicious. Everything food-wise is made fresh. Please do yourself a favor and check out this brewery next time you find yourself in western Chester County. read more

We have been in twice since this place opened and it's our new favorite spot for drinks. We are thrilled to have this little brewery in Honey Brook. The bartender is friendly and knows a lot about the beer. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun. There are old arcade games, a pool table, etc. We really like the NE IPA and the Kolsch beer. They also offer PA distilled liquor & cocktails. Last time we were in they had a few items catered from Suburban Restaurant in Chester Springs. We haven't had a chance to eat here yet, but the food looked good. I think they plan to have different food trucks and/or a food trailer and maybe some outdoor seating when the weather gets nice. We will definitely be in again soon. I hope everyone visits and supports this local business! read more

Wow! Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the place was fairly quiet. I am not much of a beer person (my husband is) so I was excited to see the added cocktail menu. Important to note this place really believes in staying local with all of the liquor sourced in PA as well. I actually didn't even get to try the cocktail list as the bartender ( Monica perhaps?) asked me to trust her and try a beer cocktail. I was nervous when I saw her mix some liquor and then walk to add Porter I started to sweat a little! As a non beer person I was SHOCKED at how fantastic it was - tasting like chocolate cake. She also made a citrus beer cocktail that was fantastic. She definitely knew what she was doing. Totally worth stopping by! I would love to go back when the food truck was open as it was not during our visit. read more
