This has been my go to place this year along the trail. Nice outside seating in the summer. Excellent food - Wings, fish tacos, fries etc. and...LIZ IS THE BEST!!

Excellent food and dog friendly patio with their own meal. The portions for dogs (and humans!) are large! We got two meals for two dogs but they could have easily shared one because it was so large. Lots of bees though so bring fly fans!

The fact that this restaurant not only allows my four legged family member to hang on their patio BUT they also provide a menu catered to him puts this place on the short list of my favorites. My guy, Stan, had the time of his life chilling, people watching and then devouring a delicious meal. The human meals were stellar too, but this review is really Stan-focused. Thanks for being open to the whole family.

This place is a hidden gem located on the Susquehanna River. One of my favorite places to go for a good beer and even better wings. The outdoor patio is very nice in the summer and sometimes will have live entertainment.

Great service, food and atmosphere! Excellent beers on tap as well! Looking forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu!

Nice spot! Had burgers and fries but loved the doggie menu. Our pup ate all her dinner and part of ours!

Love this place! Went here while on the river trail on a bike ride. Wanted a quick eat and drink. I got the spinach artichoke dip - it was incredible and very generous serving sizes. Further, I got their IPA and it was one of the best in the area. The back has cornhole and connect four so it was a fun outdoor vibe on a Saturday afternoon! Highly recommend!

Spicy crab dip and very large chicken enchilada!

Service and beer were amazing. Outdoor seating is very nice. Didn't enjoy the menu or food. I would definitely go back for drinks though!

I don't know how something made with orange juice tastes like a tootsie roll, but it does! My sister had a tequila sunrise and said she enjoyed it. Service was quick and friendly at the bar and there are nice variety of beer styles to suit most tastes. I enjoyed a River Rat IPA (yeah, I know, boring!) which was nicey flavored and with a bit more malt than typical IPA. Food is also available, but we did not sample the menu--hence my "personal limit" of four stars for a drinks-only review. Starview has somewhat limited hours--open Wed thru Sat--so check befiore visiting. Rise and Vine…read more Microbrewery and pub located in quaint Mount Joy, PA, that's been in operation since 2018. They specialize in brewing small, batch seasonal brews and a farm-to-table dining. The Good: *Friendly service *As mentioned above, the beers are seasonal so they're always changing. *Poor Life Choices Hazy IPA was very interesting. Probably the sweetest Hazy I've ever drank and, while I wouldn't kick it out of bed, it's not what I'd prefer. *Cheesy Beer Fries upgrade is a must! The cheese was perfection, with a nice flavor of beer without it being overwhelming. *Large space which is great for large parties. We had six people and it was no issue. The Meh: *Free street parking but it can be difficult to find at times, believe it or not. There are a few free lots close-by, tho. *Interior can get a bit raucous *The Rachel (basically a Reuben w/ turkey instead of pastrami) was very underwhelming, a touch greasy, and the ratio of turkey to bread was way off. The Ugly: *The Chicken on the Chicken Nachos was hammered hard--as if Chicken breasts aren't dry enough. Conclusion: Overall, it's probably 3.5*, but I'll round-up because I'd still most likely be back to give them another go next time we're in the area.

I enjoyed their "lampin" German Pilsner - clean, crisp, went down entirely too easily with some fries that they sprinkle with some sort of seasoning that make them incredibly easy to gobble up Space is open with plenty of tables and a rather large bar in the center - perfect for either large groups (I have been here with 12+) or 2.

I'm not a heavy drinker but I enjoy a social drink now and then. They have an excellent selection of seasonal brews for every taste. (I like more light beers while my husband and father in law prefer the darker ones) Food wise you can't go wrong with their BBQ. I had gotten a fish and chips special in March and I wish they still had it on the menu! Fish was so light and crispy, not greasy like most I've had. This time I had the half chicken which came with a corn bread muffin, baked beans and BBQ sauce. Chicken was so tender and juciy, I had enough for another meal. Husband had the brisket sandwich and just the plan brisket the next time. Said the sandwich was better, not as dry as just the meat. We made the mistake of ordering an appetizer and soup with our BBQ trays and all the food came out within 10 minutes of each course. Waitress apologized that the BBQ platters don't take long to get together so its just something to keep in mind. I remember the first time our appetizer and entrees came out later so it really depends on what you order. Both times we got the large pub pretzel with crab dip. So good! I do recommend reservations as it seems to fill pretty fast. It's a large open restaurant with beautiful decor and outdoor seating that will probably open up with the warmer weather. Just watch the timing and what you order or you might end up with a buffet like we did. Plus side, it was all good left over!

Got drinks - my husband was delighted with the beer options and loved the single hop All Citra the best, and he is a beer snob (in the best way!). The Sauvignon blanc was ok, but I realize that is not their focus. We had calamari to share - good flavor, but more pillowy than crisp. The platters are the way to go - $20 for a ridiculous amount of terrific food! The pulled pork was smoky, tender and homemade sauces were perfect. Sides of coleslaw, beans and a cornbread muffin were all tasty and a nice sized serving. I had enough left for another whole meal! The brisket was awesome too - got a chunk from my husband. Our server was Allie - she did a great job - there when we needed her, knowledgeable and nice as could be! The food is served quickly, which was nice if you are traveling. Overall, a fun experience in a beautiful setting and a very reasonable price.

Expectations were high, after my sister's go to craft brewery closed down and her husband took to Stone Silo immediately, signing up to be a club member. The building itself did have a stone silo on property that opened up to fields. There was a rustic, farm type feel walking in the front door. Welcomed by stone and dark colored woods, the facility was quite large and clean with ample seating. A glance outside there were fire pits and chairs to sit set, along with an 'adult only' section if you don't like your craft with a crying 2 year old. I sampled a few beer including the IPA, which was a bit underwhelming, but expected since the West Coast is known for quality IPAs. I settled on the Japanese rice lager, 'Nojo with Yuzu.' What a mistake! Not something I could get behind and I like yuzu too. Just too tart for a lager and not what I was looking for in my light beer selection. Second round I tried their Czech style dark lager, Clever Crow. Not sure what about this was supposed to be lager, it really felt more porter-ish to me, did not drink light and just not what I was looking for in a dark lager. The grounds and staff were great, it was a fun place to hang with family, but maybe I just made two poor beer decisions. Expected a bit more from the taps but would be willing to go back and give Stone Silo a second chance, as I know my bro-in-law will want to go back since it's close to the house

This was my 2nd time coming to Mad Chef!…read more The first time I came here was about 2 years ago (before doing yelp reviews). I was not very impressed. This time around I cannot complain! Their specials are all revolving around the Masters which was unique! We tried the Pimento, Fried Green Tomato, Chicken Sandwich (The Pimento Birdie). This was a delicious sandwich that just screams Georgia! We also tried the Madfather Chicken Sandwich! Pesto, Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella, this thing was outstanding! The fries are always a highlight here! We got the bucket (had a bigger group) and it came with 3 sauces. 1 tiny little knock on the fry bucket....the entire bucket was not filled with fries. The bottom of the fry bucket had about an inch or 2 of crinkled up paper..... All of the food was outstanding. The beer was good. Tons of space and seating. Very easy ordering process. Maybe what I smelled upon walking inside Mad Chef, were hops; I'm unsure. There was a lingering, unpleasant scent (hay/old peanut shells, an earthy staleness). When my food arrived, the scent dissipated. I purposely took a picture of the fish, on my fried fish sandwich, to illustrate what $17 and some change, looks like - very thin. The fish fry was tasty, slightly undercooked, soft crusted and soft bun, fresh condiments and those "pickles" were stellar. They were the best part of my meal. I would seriously purchase a jar of those pickles. Was wary of how hot honey would mesh with a pepperoni pizza, but surprisingly, the sweet heat and the savoriness of the pepperonis, worked well together. The only miss and it's a pretty big "miss," was the paper thin, tasteless crust, acting only as a vehicle to hold the toppings. Suggest you improve the crust and then, you'll have a stellar pie. Loved the peach bread pudding with brown sugar ice cream, but once again, for the price; the portion was skimpy. Liked the touch of homemade whipped cream, but it was overly whipped (stiff and tasteless), making it actually, impalatable.
