Not the best picture but these grilled chicken nachos are gooood!!!!!!

Our family has come to Beirhall twice recently and both times have enjoyed our experience. The service time is pretty quick which is nice because we have multiple kids with us and they don't have to sit too long hungry or getting antsy. Beirhall has coloring pages available by the door which is nice for families with kids, as well. There is also an outdoor seating area that is pebbled and has some lawn games available like corn hole. Their chicken schnitzel is really good as well as their nachos. Everyone at our table loved their meals. I wish the brewery provided more instruction when you come in. The first time we came in, no one was around to greet us and we didn't know how things worked. Finally we sat and waited and then realized you order via a bar code. I think they could benefit from some low, vibey music. Both times we have come, it's been very quiet, almost like a library. Everyone has been hushed around their tables and or watching tv. It's a bit odd, like a library that sells beer. Otherwise the food is pretty good and the are cold & crisp. I haven't had a ton of interaction with staff because they kind of just drop the food off and move on, but when we have interacted they have been friendly. This place is a cool addition to the area and a good spot for a yummy meal, cold beer and a relaxed night.

Wunderbar! Had always wondered why there were no German options in Lancaster and discovered BierHall today thanks to the Lancaster Bicycle Club. The schnitzel reminded me of those my mom or my cousins in Germany would make. The sides? German style cuc salad and kraut? *chefs kiss* The Bier would have lead to a few verses of "Ein Prosit, ein Prosit" had there been more. Looking forward to returning to enjoy the biergarten with friends in warmer weather.

Different Cheesesteak #1213. Lancaster, who knew you are much more than outlet shopping and the Amish? Bierhall Brewing, you put me on an emotional roller coaster!! Simple looking building on the outside. Trophy for best build-out on the inside. Exposed beams and open floor plan, I learned that from Joanna Gaines. My cheesesteak came with a side. I asked Lexus (tender of the bar extraordinaire) for a signature side. She recommended the potato salad. While I waited, I saw four meals come out of the kitchen. Each one looked better than the meal next to it. Many orders for the pretzel. My meal came out. The potato salad looked bland at best. The potato salad was pretty freaking tasty. It had flavor to spare. The cheesesteak came with BEER CHEESE!! The beer cheese added nice flavor. I look forward to getting a pretzel, that Lexus didn't tell me to order, with the beer cheese. Forgot the most important part in my video. Loved my beer!! I look forward to trying at least 2 more that I saw on the menu.

Pretty average. Wouldn't go back on my own but if someone else was interested I might go. Service options were also lacking. Needed some small plates and wound up eating off a napkin. Had nachos, giant pretzel, chicken tenders, and fries. Did a flight of beer. Out of that, the pretzel was probably best it was also oversalted. Would probably ask for it on the side next time. Beers were okay but hefeweizen was crazy banana forward. Yes I understand that's the beer but I don't drink beer to taste banana. Favorite was probably the helles bock.

Birth all has consistently great food and the quality of their beer is second to none in Lancaster. They regularly change up their draft selection, which keeps us coming back. Our kids love the lounge seating area and overall energetic vibe. Service is always quick and friendly

First time there friendly server. Seat yourself and order from bar or app vibe. The ambiance was lacking. It is more pub style and not family friendly or sports bar material. The food was great though. But man was it freezing inside while we ate. I'd order takeout in the winter. Has potential to be nice in the summer with a outdoor area and lighting.

Service was A++. Sat at the bar and Sage was stellar. Great bubbly personality, terrific recommendations, and watched her maintain her kickass enthusiasm no matter how busy it got, engaging each patron like they were the only one in the place. Food - schnitzel sandwich and fries - best i have had outside Germany. Atmosphere - perfect. Love the bierhall long tables. Came during a Philadelphia Union game and the place was filled with fun fans enjoying themselves but still respectful. BEER: also A+. Had the Vanilla Cloud Stout and This Must Be The Place altbier and both were spot on

I got a Clipp coupon for this place cause it was something different to try. We got the smashed burger and wings. The burgers were ok but I have had better, the bread was a little stale. The wings were tasty. The highlight of the meal was the onion rings. I felt it was a little pricey. The service was very good. I wasn't fond of how you had to order food. I don't think I will go back as it wasn't someplace I really enjoyed for the money.

Stopped in for beer and lunch. Das Pils Pilsner and Tiki Tour New Zealand Pale Ale were great, but I also really liked Fond Memory Brown Ale. Had a pretzel that was fantastic, and a good sandwich. Also our table split the Black Forest Cake, which was excellent. Inside, the decor is modern. QR Code ordering is a nice touch, and that led to us getting more items since it was so efficient. Looking forward to coming back here again.

Update: Stopped in with some friends on a Thursday at 3pm. They were slow, but people started rolling in around 4. For drinks I ordered the Bramble On, Tiki Tour, and the spicy Italian sausage sandwich to eat. Both beers were great, and an improvement on their selections on opening weekend. Bramble On was a blonde ale with raspberries which had the fruitiness of a sour, but without the bite. Tiki tour was a New Zealand pale ale that was fruity and hoppy. Both great The sausage sandwich I had was also great - they included different fries than last visit but they were perfect. Sausage was good - not huge, but flavorful and good peppers and onions on top. I ordered the spicy sausage and it actually had some good heat. Bierhall continues to be a great spot, and so far the beers are good. I'm going to keep going back

The food is better than you would expect from a brewery. Schnitzel is tasty as well as the fish and chips.

There's some small intimate areas, as well as a main bar, a side seating bar area, and a back area with tables and chairs. I would recommend reservations. You can pick the bar or lounge when making reservations on their website. From the moment you enter, you will get terrific service. The host was great and we were early for our reservation, but we were seated at the bar as requested. As soon as we sat down, the bartender greeted us with waters and a sample of a bourbon punch. The entire visit was filled with very attentive staff who were always friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu. The drinks are well thought out and very good. The quality of the ingredients, as well as the flavor profiles work well. It is very difficult to pick from their crafty menu. We tried a total of 4 drinks and all were delicious. Highly recommend the Papucho - such an excellent mix of flavors that are well balanced and a very unique flavor. Honestly, not sure you will find one drink on this menu that isn't delicious. They do offer a menu of various foods. We ordered the octopus and the roasted monk fish. Both were fantastic. The servings are not big so be prepared to order dental dishes or just come with the intention of not getting a massive meal. They are good portions for a small dinner or think tapas. Our party of 4 ordered 3 appetizers: the cheese board, the short rib eggrolls, and the New England clam chowder. The clam chowder had wonderful flavors, but did seem to be lacking in actual clam meat. The PA Preferred cheese board was a nice selection of soft and hard cheeses and paired nicely with the honey, fruit and bread. The egg rolls were excellent and I would have loved to have had an entree that was based around the short rib as it was that good! I ordered the grilled NY strip as my entree. The dauphine potatoes were wonderful with a crisp top and gooey interior. My steak, however, was a bit disappointing. It was cooked to the requested medium-rare temperature but did not have much flavor on it's own. The bordelaise sauce was very good and had a nice acid balance. The steak was just not seasoned as well as you'd hope. There was also a lot of sinew that was difficult to work around. My husband ordered the scallops on special that evening. The scallops were cooked to a perfect level, but the rice had bits that were hard & undercooked. I was expecting top-level food as the head chef/owner served not one, but three US Presidents. The cocktails and wine selection were a high point. We had a regular old fashioned and a blackberry margarita that were absolutely divine! We split a bottle of the Primarius pinot noir from Oregon and all enjoyed that as well. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

I say surprising because my first reaction was disappointment at the small size of the menu. Once we decided to roll with it and take a recommended path of sharing several small plates, it turned into one of those meals that reminds you why you go out to eat in the first place. We ordered several elevated small plates, but the standout was the crispy rice with spicy tuna. It was flawless. The rice base was perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside with just enough tenderness inside. On top, the spicy tuna was fresh, buttery, and beautifully balanced -- not overly mayo-heavy, not overly spicy -- just clean, bright flavor. The drizzle underneath added a subtle creaminess that tied everything together without overpowering the texture. Every bite delivered contrast: warm and crisp against cool and silky, with little pops of sesame and microgreens adding dimension. It felt thoughtful, refined, and executed with real attention to detail. Pair that with the rooftop atmosphere -- polished but relaxed -- and the whole experience felt elevated without being pretentious. If this dish is any indication, The Exchange understands how to take something familiar and make it memorable.
