We went here earlier this week during happy hour. Wife was excited to try one of their special Pittsburgh beers (loved it) and an IPA (enjoyed it) and I had the spiked seltzer, which I also enjoyed. We also ordered their special happy hour smash burger ($6). That burger was yummy and I could have eaten two more. The bartender was attentive and made sure everything was ok with us. They had a sour in their to go case, so we'll absolutely be back when they have another sour. The only downside is parking, but if there's other stuff you'd like to do (plenty to do in Lancaster), it makes it worth it. read more

We were heading to another brewery when we saw Our Town and we decided to stop. Ehile the two beers in the photo look alike, one of them is a Schwarzbier and the other is a dark mild. I liked the dark mild and its lower alcohol content. It would have been nice if they had a stout. This location has a modern decor even though it is an old building. Stopped in a Tuesday evening with friends for their weekly trivia. I ordered a flight of beers and thought they were good. Their Brown Ale on Cask was the best one I tried. I ordered a buffalo chicken cheesesteak which was pretty amazing, just the right amount of buffalo sauce without being too hot or spicy. You seat yourself and order at the bar. There were only two ladies working the bar, which caused clearing our table to take a little too long. Very clean inside and an open, high ceiling concept. Not overly noisy. I'd recommend this brewery if you're in the Lancaster City area. read more

We hosted a family dinner and drinks gathering at Our Town. The private upstairs space worked well for our group of 35 folks. The service was attentive and available for any of our needs. We then proceeded to the lower level for a drinks party for about 75 guests. It did get a bit loud, but that was part of the festive atmosphere. The drinks were served expertly and their version of an Old Fashioned was delicious! Jimmy Juice was also quite the hit that evening. Our daughter (who made the arrangements) found the staff easy to work with. We highly recommend Our Town as a venue. read more

The atmosphere was pleasant with interesting music played at a medium volume so conversation was easy but you couldn't hear the exact content of the folks next to you. The bartenders and servers were very friendly. Nice selection of brews and even a cranberry ginger beer on tap for mixing with vodka for a unique Mule. Kudos to the owners of this place for redeveloping an eyesore on this corner. Our group of 4 tried this place shortly after they opened. Jena took great care of our table! Beer was all around pleasant. I sampled the Proper Pils, Where you Came From, Bean Necessities, and Oktoberfest. The pale ale and oktoberfests were particularly good and strong. I thought the others could be more bold. The food is simple, yet creative. We tried the street corn toast, banh mi, and chicken caesar wrap, as well as the waffle sundae for dessert. Came here for the first time to grab a beer and was blown away by both the beer and the service! I got the watermelon sour beer and my husband got the obtokerfest, which were both great! The ambience inside the building is unbeatable with upbeat music and sleek color schemes and decor, but since we had our pup along we sat outside which was also enjoyable! The bartender even brought us a dog bowl for water, which was very thoughtful. All around, a fantastic brewery that we are grateful to have near us in Lancaster and we can't wait to come back and try the food. read more

Nice taproom with some good choices for beer enthusiasts. Food is good and always friendly service.

Overall, a very nice experience. You seat yourself and order at the bar, but service is still great! We started off with the queso and chips. The appetizers are very small for the price, so I'd skip on that next time. We also had the steakhouse smash burger and the blue cheese and onion jam smash burgers. They both were great, and complemented our beers nicely! We will definitely be back to try out more of their brews and ciders. read more

Worst cheesesteak I have ever had in my whole entire life. And there's no fryer?! Who runs a bar without a fryer?

I have only been here once, but the service was friendly and the drinks good.

We stopped in midday Saturday afternoon just wanting something light to eat since we hadn't eaten since morning and we didn't want to spoil dinner already scheduled. This corner spot was perfect. Just sat at the bar, had a pint of a west coast pilsner called Tailgate Playlist that was just great. And a smaller order of chicken wings that needed no adornment (had some sauce on the side). They came out HOT, they were moist and delicious. Next trip here we'll make time for a full meal. Very reasonable price/great value. read more

My partner now and I popped into Our Town on a day trip to Lancaster City and WOW! As craft beer fans and passionate foodies, we found much to love about this bustling brewery: Ambiance: Ultra stylish but not at all stuffy, Our Town transformed a vintage car dealership into a beautifully designed space dotted with tables that sit against a backdrop of their brew area, which is as meticulously put together as the rest of the dining room. Look up to see original, ornate ceiling tiles and check out the history of the building in pictures on your way to the restroom. Brews: 10/10! The City Sunrise is packed with flavor and the kind of haze that perfectly complements a summer day. Another beer that delighted with its creatively-fused ingredients included the Rooftop Garden Blackberry Basil IPA. In short: enjoy sipping your beer here, but plan to take more home! Food: We're not the type to hold a brew-focused business to the same standard as a restaurant but DAMN! The food was OUTSTANDING. My partner wants to plan another 1.5 hour trip back just to pair his IPA with that Turkey Avocado Wrap and my Smash Burger was the perfect amount of all-things delicious. Around town: Being a ways away, the trip from Doylestown was well worth it! Not only did we enjoy our time at Our Town, but we also loved shopping at Space for vintage and mid century wares and A Day in the Life Records for new records to add to our collection, along with perusing the many cool indie shops posted around town. read more

My partner and I each got a flight. The standout for me was the Galaway Crystal and Little Snack, but everything we tried was great. One that was adventurous was the Side of Greens Lager, which had a cucumber and honeydew taste to it. It's worth a taster, at least. For food, I got a Grilled Ham and Cheddar sandwich, while she got the Wild Mushroom and Ricotta sandwich. Orders came out quick, and it all paired well with the beer. Extremely rude bartender woman was very condescending and made us feel so uncomfortable. She gave my friend the option of salad or chips but didn't give me the option so I asked for a salad instead and basically scoffed at me saying I would have to pay for the "salad" which was literally dry mixed leaves. The chicken and waffles was probably the worst meal i've ever ordered / seen at a restaurant in my life. Everything tasted microwaved, there was sriracha poured all over the chicken (which was microwaved chicken wings) and waffles (burnt) and the potatoes were frozen and fake. Overall worst dining experience I have had in a very long time. The worst part was the female bartender with dark hair who was probably the rudest person I have ever encountered. Wish I could take my $20 tip back since she did absolutely nothing but give attitude and be rude. Don't come here. read more

HUGE kudos to these guys! OTB opened literally in the middle of the pandemic and ROCKED IT. Talk about learning on the fly! This has quickly become one of our favorite places to go! The menu is ever-evolving and changing to reflect local flavors and their commitment to supporting other local Lancaster businesses really shows through their sourcing. They keep the menu small and I've been here enough to have experienced that nothing is ever anything but freshly made. This place has amazing potential but is not there yet. The decor is very nice with big tall ceilings and a very clean area with a big bar. Plenty of drinks to choose from and solid variety. The real downfall is the food. It lacks any sort of identity. We got a meat/cheese board which was cheap and simple. The food menu is small and all the options are average. In my opinion you specialize in something food wise and do it well and bam you got an amazing place with an already good location and great building. read more

The staff are helpful and we enjoyed the fall evening sitting outdoors, although there was an unrelenting stream of noisy traffic which is no fault of the brewery. This place is not open yet but I was able to get my hands on some of their brew. This is a New England IPA that's cloudy and 6%. It's light, easy drinking. I can only sometimes drink 1 IPA. My wife and I have been coming here since they opened and have become Townie members. We have spent a lot of time trying many different breweries and we know what we are looking for in a brewery. The beer is exceptional and very diverse. They consistently release new beers and the servers are always very knowledgeable. We have also always enjoyed the food as well. PARENTS WITH KIDS DO NOT COME HERE. i realize that some breweries are not kid friendly, which is fine, but we researched this place before stopping by for lunch on a Saturday early afternoon and it seemed fine. Building was really nice we were excited. Service was non existent and then awful. We had kids with us and didn't realize we had to walk up to the bar to order, which is fine but we sat for 10 min with no acknowledgment from staff passing by or multiple people chatting behind the bar. I finally went up to order and was told we need to only look the menu up on our phones. we only had one phone and it had no battery so i asked for a paper menu and said I'll be quick to order and the bartender seemed annoyed and said we don't have paper menus and started to quickly read the entire menu to me very quickly and annoyed. i felt completely unwelcome and like a total idiot. i understand some places not being kid friendly but if you want customers you need to think that perhaps some old folks who aren't totally technology efficient want to enjoy your food and rely on paper menus. staff was not friendly and we will never be back. as mentioned if you have kids, don't come here. We walked to spring house brewery which turned out to not serve food but the 2 male bartenders were so incredibly nice and welcoming Im glad we got 2 beers, 4 waters and no lunch over dining at our town. read more
