Went here this past Saturday night. We were seated right away. They had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The waitress was nice and didn't make me feel bad for my food allergies. I customized a pizza and it was great. The beer flight was a great deal and he really liked a few of the beers. He liked his Mac n cheese which had a kick but wished the grilled chicken was diced in and incorporated. The chocolate lava cake was nice and hot. A generous scoop of ice cream. I liked the vibe and all the beers signs.
Driving through but stopped for beer and food. If I lived locally this would be my regular place. Scale: 1-5 Beer: 5 - Haze Farmer Hazy IPA is delicious. Lots of tasty looking beers on the draft list so asked for a flight. I was impressed with how tasty every different style was. Atmosphere: 5 - Relaxed. Great wooden bar sort of feels like an Irish pub. Service: 5 - Got a seat near the bar and was served by the bartender. Beer delivery is quick and friendly. Food: Great menu of bar food. Lots of people eating pizza but I prefer to drink my carbs so I had one of their phat 1/2# burgers. Cultural/Political Agenda (1-5): 5 -Everyone is welcome. No preachy nonsense or virtue signaling, just beer, as it should be.
When in Lancaster, it's a must visit! While the parking lot if pretty darn small & it feels up quickly, the beer makes up for it! This is a charming antique feeling brewery with lots of beers to choose from!
Finally able to stop in at Lancaster Brewing and sure glad I did! Such a great brewery for the whole family. Absolutely lived up to the hype! Parking is tough - the lot is very small. Street parking is an option an available if you don't find anything in the lot. The inside is a cool vibe. The interior bricks alongside the huge tanks is awesome. There is bar seating, high tops, and regular tables available. I would recommend getting on the wait list or for an earlier dinner - fills up fast! Being my first time here, I tried a flight of different drafts. You get 6, which is a lot! The Strawberry Wheat was my favorite, absolutely delicious! Food wise, our whole party was impressed. I ordered the Cajun Salmon Caesar Wrap and loved it. Their Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza was also very good. Same with their wings. I would come back again for the food alone. Definitely add LBC to your list of places to go! Great beer, great food, and a great vibe overall.
They have a small parking lot (~18 spots), which gets crowded, but got lucky with a couple open spots. They were hosting a party in their Walnut Room, so might be easier when they aren't hosting anything. The service is friendly and attentive. We were check up on a couple times, without him being overbearing. The Reverie had good clover honey flavor, but no assam flavor. Still, it tasted pretty good. The Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno were hot and cheesy! There was a nicely sized piece of bacon around each jalapeno. The wrapped jalapeno was not really spicy, but the pickled jalapeno was! It was definitely bringing in the heat! The Philadelphia Steak Salad was a decent portion size, as I was full at the end of the meal. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly (I asked for medium rare), with fresh veggies and nicely salted fries. There is a good amount of ranch on the side, though I would have liked it better if some of it was premixed into the salad. Overall, a nice spot to hit . Definitely more for the beers that they brew themselves, but they've got good food to accompany them!
Nice little brewery that has three separate locations. Stopped in this location the other night with my daughter for dinner. Very small parking lot on site but there is off street parking as well. The beer tanks are down underneath the main floor that you can see over the railings all around. Seating is a little tight in some spots. We started our dinner with their popular Braided Soft Pretzel which was so good, soft and buttery. My daughter got the kids Mac & Cheese and fries, she loved her meal. I got a cup of the White Chili and the Angry Mac & Cheese with Sausage. Both just phenomenal. My only complaint is the dish is way too small, which comes with no sides for the price. Washed mine down with a glass of the Boss Hog 2X IPA. Also got a pint glass for the collection at home. Nice little merch section near the front door.
Parking can be challenging, but once inside, it's worth it. Friendly service, great draft selection, and food was on point. Everything came out hot and fresh. It's pub fare, which is exactly what we wanted. Will definitely will be back.
Parking is by luck only!! Oktoberfest is our favorite time! Beers always great! Just found this picture and want to remember this delicious meal!
In business for nearly thirty years, Lancaster Brewing Company has the brewpub concept down pat. The atmosphere is casual (albeit potentially fairly loud), and the dining area offers a view of the brewery tanks. Speaking of the beer, there are quite a few varieties to choose from - everything from nitro stouts to peanut butter ales -- and LBC offers flights for those who want to try it all. The food selections are equally impressive. While you can find the requisite wings/burger/pizza here, LBC also defies expectations by offering up white chili or a chicken, leek, and lager pie. My wife and I split an order of teriyaki fried cauliflower, a braided soft pretzel, and a burger meister and found the food to be very good. The cauliflower featured thick breading and a sweet teriyaki glaze. I could have eaten an entrée's worth of it and have been satisfied. The pretzel was warm and pulled apart easily. Rather than being accompanied by separate cheese and mustard dips, its partner was a blend of beer cheese and mustard, strongly flavored but tasty if you don't mind mustard. The burger featured fresh ground bratwurst, something that will leave you wondering where it was all your life. The accompanying fries were natural-cut, salty, and crisp. While our server was friendly and helpful at the beginning of the meal, she vanished toward the end, and we were in for a wait to get our checks. LBC isn't cheap for what it offers - $13 for the cauliflower, $16 for the burger - but the portions are at least sizeable. If you want good beer, good food, and a dash of the unexpected, Lancaster Brewing Company is a very appealing option as long as you have the patience for high volume and a bit of a wait.
Absolutely, hands-down, the best cauliflower crust pizza in town. The Fun Guy & Fig pizza is my go to meal every week here. It is consistently delicious, loaded with cheese and mushrooms.
Great food and beer. Always happy to stop by amd have dinner, especially on burger nights.
Stumbled upon this place while driving on a beautiful day. The inside was warm and welcoming. We were seated quickly and our server was very chill which was exactly what we needed. We started with the beer flights which were so amazing that we purchased some for home. We ordered several appetizers and unfortunately took no pictures but they were all good. There were some families celebrating different occasions around us and I could see why they would choose to come here. Food was good, atmosphere was relaxed. I would definitely go back.
The chicken dish was amazing! (W/spanish rice-tomatoes & Brussels). Restaurant staff top tier customer service. Thanks again!!

Great service and great food! From the hostess to the waitress, everyone there was very attentive. The place was nicely decorated. There was a separate bar area also, where only 15+ was allowed. Our food came very quickly and was delicious. We got wings (nicely done with their own spin for sauce), grilled salmon wrap (huge!, and French dip sandwich. Eberything tasted fresh and seasoned well. Portions were large, too. The price was reasonable too. This is a perfect stop on the way to Penn State. Will definitely come back again. read more

Honestly, wouldn't really recommend coming here unless you're looking for beer or something basic. Their menu shrunk extremely, and they were out of boned wings. Their soda machine was definitely on the verge of being out. When coming over with the drinks, he had spilled them a good amount. The service wasn't too attentive or friendly. Granted they weren't mean. The food just wasn't a vibe in my opinion. The boneless wings were nicely moist in the middle, so that was good. Just wasn't too satisfied here. Loved the decor and the layout though. Just needs better service and more options. read more

Amazing experience at Lancaster Brewing. The bartender Sean (hope that's right) was great to have a laugh with, and the beers were all fantastic. If you're looking for something new and fun for the summer heatwaves, highly recommend the Blueberry Shandy, and the Dry Carolina wings are a must. Cheers guys! read more

Went here while visiting Lancaster. Had dinner and tried a Flight. My son is a beer geek. He enjoyed probably half of his selections, and was impressed with them. We had a delicious dinner. Unfortunately, the 2 entrees we had come for (found on the online menu) were not on the in-house menu. Huge disappointment. We had to pivot. What we chose was very good. Chicken Chili and Shrimp and Grits. read more
Disappointing and overall bad experience at this brewery which billed itself as family friendly, even has a kids' menu and crayons. The waiter "heard" we "weren't from around here" asked us where we were from. When we replied he said "I fucking hate New York!" He said this in front of my kids. Even if he was joking, kids do not understand sarcasm. I don't think he was joking though... Food was edible but service was awful - we waited forever for anything - water refills, the check, etc. It was offensive and needless. read more

Love it here! Can't wait to come back to try their patio. The dining room was a bit dark for daytime, luckily we were close to a window, but would be nice in the evening! Wait staff were all friendly and energetic. The beers were great, we tried so many! Food was delicious too, recommend sharing a couple things. The beer cheese with the pretzel was unmatched. read more

Had a great time here! Their beer flights were so good. The food was also great, the inside of the place was so fun and cool. Staff wasn't the friendliest but it didn't deter from what a cool spot this was. read more

When you visit Lancaster Brewing Company, you definitely need to start your meal with the blue crab artichoke dip. If you are just driving by, you definitely need to pull into the parking lot and go in to try the blue crab dip. If you are sitting on your couch, you need to pause Netflix and head in for the blue crap dip. The blue crab artichoke dip just rocks! A perfect blend of crab, artichoke and cheese served bubbly hot with a plate full of pretzel crostini. So unusual. So good! And they do not skimp on the crostini - we finished the dip yet have a handful left for snacking on tonight. We also ordered a soft pretzel. The huge, braided pretzel was served hot with a generous portion of beer cheese. The cheese was good but dipping the pretzel in the crab dip took it to a new level. We were stuffed even before our meal was served but that didn't stop us from digging in. I had the fried cod sandwich. It was good but I definitely wasn't a fan of the grainy mustard tarter sauce. However, without the sauce, the sandwich would have been way too bland. It was served with house made fries which were delicious and plentiful. An ordinary dill spear rounded out the plate. Like I said, it was good but I wouldn't order it again. My mom had the pulled pork sandwich. To her (and to me), all pulled pork is rated against the Alabama standard. It was close but not quite there, though it was still good enough that I'd order it again. The sandwich was served with house made chips and the unremarkable pickle. While our server was a really sweet young guy, the service itself was likewise unremarkable. Parking was easy in a lot behind the building. There was only one handicapped spot so just be aware if you require one. As I proofread this review, I realized that it doesn't sound like a 5 star. That blue crab artichoke dip, however, was such a star that the 5 star rating is just right. read more
