They have a small parking lot (~18 spots), which gets crowded, but got lucky with a couple open spots. They were hosting a party in their Walnut Room, so might be easier when they aren't hosting anything. The service is friendly and attentive. We were check up on a couple times, without him being overbearing. The Reverie had good clover honey flavor, but no assam flavor. Still, it tasted pretty good. The Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno were hot and cheesy! There was a nicely sized piece of bacon around each jalapeno. The wrapped jalapeno was not really spicy, but the pickled jalapeno was! It was definitely bringing in the heat! The Philadelphia Steak Salad was a decent portion size, as I was full at the end of the meal. The steak was tender and cooked perfectly (I asked for medium rare), with fresh veggies and nicely salted fries. There is a good amount of ranch on the side, though I would have liked it better if some of it was premixed into the salad. Overall, a nice spot to hit . Definitely more for the beers that they brew themselves, but they've got good food to accompany them!

Nice little brewery that has three separate locations. Stopped in this location the other night with my daughter for dinner. Very small parking lot on site but there is off street parking as well. The beer tanks are down underneath the main floor that you can see over the railings all around. Seating is a little tight in some spots. We started our dinner with their popular Braided Soft Pretzel which was so good, soft and buttery. My daughter got the kids Mac & Cheese and fries, she loved her meal. I got a cup of the White Chili and the Angry Mac & Cheese with Sausage. Both just phenomenal. My only complaint is the dish is way too small, which comes with no sides for the price. Washed mine down with a glass of the Boss Hog 2X IPA. Also got a pint glass for the collection at home. Nice little merch section near the front door.

Parking is by luck only!! Oktoberfest is our favorite time! Beers always great! Just found this picture and want to remember this delicious meal!

Parking can be challenging, but once inside, it's worth it. Friendly service, great draft selection, and food was on point. Everything came out hot and fresh. It's pub fare, which is exactly what we wanted. Will definitely will be back.

In business for nearly thirty years, Lancaster Brewing Company has the brewpub concept down pat. The atmosphere is casual (albeit potentially fairly loud), and the dining area offers a view of the brewery tanks. Speaking of the beer, there are quite a few varieties to choose from - everything from nitro stouts to peanut butter ales -- and LBC offers flights for those who want to try it all. The food selections are equally impressive. While you can find the requisite wings/burger/pizza here, LBC also defies expectations by offering up white chili or a chicken, leek, and lager pie. My wife and I split an order of teriyaki fried cauliflower, a braided soft pretzel, and a burger meister and found the food to be very good. The cauliflower featured thick breading and a sweet teriyaki glaze. I could have eaten an entrée's worth of it and have been satisfied. The pretzel was warm and pulled apart easily. Rather than being accompanied by separate cheese and mustard dips, its partner was a blend of beer cheese and mustard, strongly flavored but tasty if you don't mind mustard. The burger featured fresh ground bratwurst, something that will leave you wondering where it was all your life. The accompanying fries were natural-cut, salty, and crisp. While our server was friendly and helpful at the beginning of the meal, she vanished toward the end, and we were in for a wait to get our checks. LBC isn't cheap for what it offers - $13 for the cauliflower, $16 for the burger - but the portions are at least sizeable. If you want good beer, good food, and a dash of the unexpected, Lancaster Brewing Company is a very appealing option as long as you have the patience for high volume and a bit of a wait.

Absolutely, hands-down, the best cauliflower crust pizza in town. The Fun Guy & Fig pizza is my go to meal every week here. It is consistently delicious, loaded with cheese and mushrooms.

Stumbled upon this place while driving on a beautiful day. The inside was warm and welcoming. We were seated quickly and our server was very chill which was exactly what we needed. We started with the beer flights which were so amazing that we purchased some for home. We ordered several appetizers and unfortunately took no pictures but they were all good. There were some families celebrating different occasions around us and I could see why they would choose to come here. Food was good, atmosphere was relaxed. I would definitely go back.

Amazing experience at Lancaster Brewing. The bartender Sean (hope that's right) was great to have a laugh with, and the beers were all fantastic. If you're looking for something new and fun for the summer heatwaves, highly recommend the Blueberry Shandy, and the Dry Carolina wings are a must. Cheers guys!

Went here while visiting Lancaster. Had dinner and tried a Flight. My son is a beer geek. He enjoyed probably half of his selections, and was impressed with them. We had a delicious dinner. Unfortunately, the 2 entrees we had come for (found on the online menu) were not on the in-house menu. Huge disappointment. We had to pivot. What we chose was very good. Chicken Chili and Shrimp and Grits.

This was my 2nd time coming to Mad Chef!…read more The first time I came here was about 2 years ago (before doing yelp reviews). I was not very impressed. This time around I cannot complain! Their specials are all revolving around the Masters which was unique! We tried the Pimento, Fried Green Tomato, Chicken Sandwich (The Pimento Birdie). This was a delicious sandwich that just screams Georgia! We also tried the Madfather Chicken Sandwich! Pesto, Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella, this thing was outstanding! The fries are always a highlight here! We got the bucket (had a bigger group) and it came with 3 sauces. 1 tiny little knock on the fry bucket....the entire bucket was not filled with fries. The bottom of the fry bucket had about an inch or 2 of crinkled up paper..... All of the food was outstanding. The beer was good. Tons of space and seating. Very easy ordering process. Go up to the counter, tell them your table number, and your food arrives shortly! Prices are high here! Expect a larger number on your check if consuming both food and alcohol!

Big Sigh... An attempt to create something good, unsual, but…read morenot only falls short in doing so, the inflated prices were enough for you to rethink your groceries for the week. Maybe what I smelled upon walking inside Mad Chef, were hops; I'm unsure. There was a lingering, unpleasant scent (hay/old peanut shells, an earthy staleness). When my food arrived, the scent dissipated. I purposely took a picture of the fish, on my fried fish sandwich, to illustrate what $17 and some change, looks like - very thin. The fish fry was tasty, slightly undercooked, soft crusted and soft bun, fresh condiments and those "pickles" were stellar. They were the best part of my meal. I would seriously purchase a jar of those pickles. Was wary of how hot honey would mesh with a pepperoni pizza, but surprisingly, the sweet heat and the savoriness of the pepperonis, worked well together. The only miss and it's a pretty big "miss," was the paper thin, tasteless crust, acting only as a vehicle to hold the toppings. Suggest you improve the crust and then, you'll have a stellar pie. Loved the peach bread pudding with brown sugar ice cream, but once again, for the price; the portion was skimpy. Liked the touch of homemade whipped cream, but it was overly whipped (stiff and tasteless), making it actually, impalatable.

I see that Seven Gates Pale Ale made the year-round menu, very cool. I'm NA these days so I passed (sigh) but very glad to see this flagship beer in its rightful place. I then had the pickle cheese curds which came with a dill ranch and the boneless old bay wings. My pup got the burger patty off the doggie menu and by the pictures you can tell he enjoyed it =) All of the food and beer was delicious. The process for ordering through the window is super easy. I stopped by here yesterday with my family for dinner. We had ridden the Strasburg Railroad earlier…read morein the day and were looking for a place to eat when I fired up Yelp and found the Tavern by Spring House Brewing. It is located on East Main Street in downtown Strasburg. The inside consists of a large main room with an L shaped bar, a number of TVs, and then a second dining room off to the side. Since no one was seated in the second room and we had twin four year olds with us, we chose that space. Unfortunately the TV in that room was broken, so we were not able to watch the Steelers game that was on. Aside from that, the room itself had a cozy and slightly eclectic feel. There was a decorated Christmas tree lit up in the corner near the staircase which gave the space a warm seasonal vibe. The walls were decorated with brewery signs and beer themed banners, and a bright yellow decorative mantel stood out against the darker wall colors. Overall it felt casual and welcoming and worked well for a family dinner. For dinner on this evening I went with the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak while my wife chose the K Town Mac Bowl. The menu described my wife's dish as three cheese cavatappi pasta with smoked pork slaw, Korean BBQ drizzle, sesame seeds, and scallions. My sandwich was described as smoked chicken, American cheese, buffalo sauce, gorgonzola, onion frizzles, ranch drizzle, and a hoagie roll. I thought my sandwich ended up being good, especially since it was chock full of chicken. The hoagie roll was toasted and buttered nicely and added a good crunch, which the onion frizzles helped reinforce. The gorgonzola added a nice pungent pop of flavor. While I did get some buffalo flavor, I definitely could have used more. Because of that, the sandwich was a little on the drier side despite having cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch drizzle. My fries were seasoned and had a nice texture, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. As I often do whenever I visit a new brewery, I decided to go with a flight here. At Spring House Brewing, a flight consists of four beers and I chose the Cucumber Salamander, Backroads Shadows, Daily Planet, and Love and Rockets. The Love and Rockets ended up getting mixed up and I was instead served Grease the Poles. I started with the Cucumber Salamander, which is a sour. It was a bit tart right from the start and that carried through to the finish, with a little extra pucker at the end. Up next was Backroads Shadows, a lager with a crisp, clean start before the malts came through on the finish. This felt like a really good easy drinking beer. Third was Daily Planet, an IPA that had citrus up front followed by a solid hop presence that carried through the finish. Last was Grease the Poles, a pale lager that started off very clean before finishing with some lighter hop notes. Out of the bunch, the Cucumber Salamander was definitely my favorite. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Our food and drinks were good, and I would be interested in trying more of their beers.

Looked like there was only 2 servers for the entire place which was busy. My husband liked his chili, so that's the two star review. He said it had a lot of flavor. I had the brisket sandwich which was very small for the price with not a lot of meat. The meat had no flavor at all. Was not served with the au ju, which I had to ask for. Unfortunately, the au ju did not make it any better. The Cole slaw had a good flavor and was not sweet, so that was the best part of the food.
