Great service! We had a table of 6 and I am glad I made a reservation since they seemed to have a good crowd even on a January weeknight. We enjoyed our appetizers-cheese curds, wings and Bavarian pretzels. Several of us got the chicken wrap or chicken sandwich plus my SIL enjoyed a burger with 3 patties the staff were friendly and helpful...I would give the service a perfect score. Restrooms were clean and smelled nice...always a good sign!

Great drinks, the Appel spritz is delicious with Prosecco, club soda and orange soda. The Long Island ice tea on the happy hour menu is equally delicious for only $7.00! Bert, the owner is a great guy, very personable and engaging.

We came for the anniversary celebration. It was extremely busy, and Bert personally greeted us to start a wait list for a spot. We were served beer from the bar and relocated as soon as they could accommodate. Great variety of Belgians on draft and we enjoyed our meal. Service was great despite the crowd, our food came out quickly, and they even made sure to give us some souvenir glasses on our way out! Bert personally checked on us before we left to make sure everything went well. We don't get out much because of our kids' ages, but I hope we can come back again soon!

Amazing place, fantastic beers, and we were lucky enough to get to sit and talk with Bert for awhile. Incredible guy and made us feel like regulars immediately. So strongly recommend, especially if you're new to Belgian beers!!

Four of us had a nice dinner, good beer and pleasant service by our waiter, along with a friendly handshake from Bert. It was not overly loud, but one open bar room and we sat at an end booth along the wall. We will be back. I enjoyed the sour beer!

I say surprising because my first reaction was disappointment at the small size of the menu. Once we decided to roll with it and take a recommended path of sharing several small plates, it turned into one of those meals that reminds you why you go out to eat in the first place. We ordered several elevated small plates, but the standout was the crispy rice with spicy tuna. It was flawless. The rice base was perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside with just enough tenderness inside. On top, the spicy tuna was fresh, buttery, and beautifully balanced -- not overly mayo-heavy, not overly spicy -- just clean, bright flavor. The drizzle underneath added a subtle creaminess that tied everything together without overpowering the texture. Every bite delivered contrast: warm and crisp against cool and silky, with little pops of sesame and microgreens adding dimension. It felt thoughtful, refined, and executed with real attention to detail. Pair that with the rooftop atmosphere -- polished but relaxed -- and the whole experience felt elevated without being pretentious. If this dish is any indication, The Exchange understands how to take something familiar and make it memorable.

They stay true to their name with their decor. They were coffin shaped shelves, gothic/satanic themed wallpaper. It's all very well done. Very unique! One of the staff members came over to tell us that their beer and spirits are all from PA. This was music to our ears! We ordered a local IPA. We shared the Brussels Caesar salad. It had crispy brussels sprouts and arugula. Topped homemade crouton. Dusted with Parmesan. It was delicious! Loved this spot! Will go back the next time we're in town!

Coffin Bar is one of the more distinctive brunch spots in Lancaster, and it works better in…read moredaylight than I expected. The vibe leans goth, with a definite metal/punk edge rather than a tightly curated "theme bar" look. It's not as uniformly designed as the name might suggest, but it is interesting and cohesive enough to feel intentional. During brunch, the space is well-lit, and they keep the heavy metal/thrash/punk soundtrack going at a very low volume, exactly the right choice. It supports the aesthetic without turning brunch into a performance. The food is the reason to come. The menu is built around the seven deadly sins (Lust, Gluttony, Wrath, etc.), and everything we tried was outstanding. Between the two of us we had Lust and Gluttony, and both were excellent, high quality, well-executed, and clearly made with care. Service was solid: efficient, reasonably quick, and professional. Not overly chatty, but attentive enough that you don't feel ignored. Drinks were fine. The mimosa and Bloody Mary were exactly what you'd expect: competent and enjoyable, nothing gimmicky. Logistics are also manageable for a downtown spot. Parking exists in the area, including garages nearby, and it's a comfortable walk if you're already in the city center. Overall: a fun, slightly offbeat atmosphere paired with genuinely great brunch food. If you like a darker aesthetic but still want a bright, relaxed daytime meal, Coffin Bar is an easy recommendation.

There's some small intimate areas, as well as a main bar, a side seating bar area, and a back area with tables and chairs. I would recommend reservations. You can pick the bar or lounge when making reservations on their website. From the moment you enter, you will get terrific service. The host was great and we were early for our reservation, but we were seated at the bar as requested. As soon as we sat down, the bartender greeted us with waters and a sample of a bourbon punch. The entire visit was filled with very attentive staff who were always friendly and knowledgeable about the offerings on the menu. The drinks are well thought out and very good. The quality of the ingredients, as well as the flavor profiles work well. It is very difficult to pick from their crafty menu. We tried a total of 4 drinks and all were delicious. Highly recommend the Papucho - such an excellent mix of flavors that are well balanced and a very unique flavor. Honestly, not sure you will find one drink on this menu that isn't delicious. They do offer a menu of various foods. We ordered the octopus and the roasted monk fish. Both were fantastic. The servings are not big so be prepared to order dental dishes or just come with the intention of not getting a massive meal. They are good portions for a small dinner or think tapas. In addition, calling the restaurant has been difficult, it has often gone straight to voicemail for me. For that reason make sure to make reservations ONLINE (that has never failed).
