    Tempting fate on the patio
    Carrie H.

We first visited this place a year ago and we loved it!!! We took home many bottles for ourselves and our friends. We purposely are driving home to Atlanta this way so we could come to this distillery. I wish I could find our pictures from last year, but YELP doesn't let you search your pictures easily. Our first round of drinks was the summer old fashioned and the Stoll and Mule. I am an old fashioned fan and this was a great twist on a classic. It is rye, homemade birch beer reduction, walnut bitters, and flamed lemon. They were both very tasty and balanced. The second round of drinks were the tempting fate and basil (rye) bone. I liked them both but thing the basil (rye) bone was the better of the two. It is rye, watermelon lemonade, and jalapeño oil.

Impromptu stop on Mother's Day to the tasting room. We enjoyed some craft cocktails while we sat at the bar. My brother bought a bottle of whiskey to take home. They had a nice little tent set up outside for sitting and drinking. The bartender even made us a carrot cake cocktail just to taste and share. They also have beer. It's very cool to see the old bottles from Michter's distillery. It's a nice looking place & worth a stop. In May 2022 they are doing bridge work so the street is closed at one end but you can get there from the other side and park in their lot.

The beau and I stopped here to check out the spirits. With the storied history of rye whiskey in this part of Pennsylvania, we had high expectations. Stoll & Wolfe did not disappoint. All of the spirits were high quality and very good. The service was excellent.

Great unique cocktails in an out of the way setting. Small but busy place. Outdoor patio seating in the parking lot might be nice on a warmer day.

I didn't know the town we were staying in had a distillery. We found this hidden gem and it was very nice. It was a small town distillery, small, but quaint and nice. We had a couple of drinks. I had a new fashioned. The new fashioned was great. It used the Rye Whiskey that was aged in a rum barrel. Good stuff. I had sampled the Rye and Bourbon and they were good solid whiskeys. The brewer and woman waiting on us were very nice. Very talkative, told me a little of the history of the distillery and their products. They made recommendations on places to go. I did take them up on the Mad Chef Craft Brewery and it was a good recommendation. This place has a rich history of one of the well known master distillers in the area ( Dick Stoll) great background and history. I'm happy I found this hidden gem and took a Rye Whiskey to go home with me back to Pittsburgh. I recommend checking this place out.

This is a super cute distillery. It's really quaint and warm. I wish I would have had more time to try several of the drinks as there were some creative drinks that you don't find anywhere. They do of course have your typical drinks like manhattans and old fashioneds, but they also also have creative spins on whiskey sours. I had a New York sour which had a merlot mix in it. The service was a little slow as Tobias was the only person working, however it was a rainey Thursday night so I wouldn't expect much staff. The bartender was nice, attentive and gave a great drink recommendation.

Spent a few days in Lancaster and after trying to look for a Distillery to check out we landed here. I'm so happy we came to Stoll and Wolfe! It was a Thursday afternoon and my boyfriend and I were the only ones because it was still early in the day. The bartender was so hospitable and friendly. He recommended spots for us to check out and he made us a cool cocktail to try called the ghosted and it was delicious! We ended up buying the bottle of the ghost pepper vodka he used to make it. We also ordered a mule, a whiskey flight and the soft pretzel. Totally recommend this spot for anyone either visiting or from the Lancaster area.

An aspiring distillery with a strong lineage. Building on the "true" Michter's heritage, Stoll & Wolfe is building a solid base. The tasting room is very comfortable. The cocktail offerings are creative. The staff is helpful and attentive. Their bourbon and rye offerings will be better in a few years, but there is no feast to delay your visit.

If I lived in town this would become my regular spot. The bartender is so friendly and welcoming!

Visited Stoll & Wolfe a lot during covid. They offered cocktails to go for a reasonable price. Overall, I've always enjoyed their cocktails. I like that they change their menu seasonally, but the prices are a bit steep. I look at it as a great spot to have a single drink then move on to the next place. Everyone who works there is great! Indoor seating is limited, but they have outdoor space as well. Best spot in town for quality, creative cocktails. Little Lititz delivers once again!

Do you serve whiskey sours with egg whites?

We can make Whiskey Sours with egg whites or without. Happy to augment to your preference.

Are cigars permitted on the patio; is cigar smoking allowed?

Unfortunately the outside seating area is non-smoking as to not disturb other patrons. However, if you reserve for a private event that wouldn't be a problem.

We appreciated his gesture of putting us in a comfortable seating area and buying us a round. Once got to our table, we had an excellent experience. We tend to order many appetizers so we can all get a bite of them, then order our own meals and desserts. The food was outstanding! For appetizers, our favorite was the avocado! I don't know how they prepared it, but it was so flavorful that we were ready to lick the plate! We also had the crab coquettes, oysters, tuna tartar, and the wedge salad. All were amazing. After speaking with the maître D, we decided to each try an ounce of the Wagyu! It was the best 1 ounce steak that we have ever had! Myself and two others decided to split the tomahawk steak. What a great experience as it came, and the server squeezed roasted garlic on top and also gave us chimichurri and horseradish sauce! Others got the fillet and enjoyed it. One of our guests had the haddock and said it was the best fish that she's ever had. We enjoyed the dessert as well, the chocolate mousse being a favorite! Despite the hiccup at the beginning, we all enjoyed our evening and cannot wait to go back.
