We went to La Cabra with a bunch of my colleagues for a happy hour. The fries and cauliflower were fresh and the happy hour cocktails kept going in. The service was prompt and the music selection was great! PS: There is a narrow entrance to the parking lot just next to the brewery on both sides of the entrance. It is free!

Love the atmosphere here. Bar staff are so nice! Lots of free parking in back and walk-ins welcome. Big fan of the cider and the wings. Beef dip sandwich when loaded with meat is fantastic.

Dinner with my wife last night. 4:30pm arrival. The hostess advised the taps on the main floor weren't functioning, but the upstairs was, so we went upstairs to dine. The place was empty except for a couple folks at the bar. Our server was over right away to mention the QR code for their beer and food menus. I asked about the happy hour beer special since their website mentioned a rotating IPA, Lawn jawn and Scranton Fancy, but she mentioned there was no IPA on special, so we each ordered up two different beers, which were $8 each instead of the happy hour price of $4. Bummer. I was surprised to see such high prices on most of the menu items. Tacos for $18-$19. Burgers for $20-$22. I wasn't interested in spending $100 for dinner on a Wed. night during happy hour, so we ordered the Poblano Hummus which was fantastic. We decided to each get the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches (no sides) for the HH price of $8 each. They showed up not too much long after we finished the hummus (great timing), piping hot and enormous. It was chicken thigh and after digging into the massive sandwich, it was just so much breading. Crispy, super spicy breading that just weighed me down. The chicken was in the core, but I would have preferred a smaller sandwich and less breading. The chicken was quite small and thin, so I had to discard the bun and fork my way into the chicken to enjoy. Messy with a good amount of pickles. The spice was perfect. Love the atmosphere, friendly staff and beers are decent. Pricing and one single item for happy hour won't have me dropping in too often.

Great brewery! Great variety of beer and American food and some Mexican inspired dishes which is amazing. Churros were delicious, wings were okay I'd say 8/10, duck fries were so tasty!! Our server Madison was great and friendly. Great atmosphere and the place looks very upscale and clean. Parking is in the back of the building.

I would come here again just for the giant plate of duck fat fries!! They were absolutely amazing and could be a meal in themselves!! They also have a really cool ambiance and great beer! I've been here a couple times and every time had great service!

Recently stopped in for a weekend lunch at La Cabra and quite enjoyed it. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, though on this particularly nice day, they had the big front windows of the restaurant open. We opted to sit outside, so we placed our order at the bar, chose an outdoor table, and our food was brought out to us. Their beer selection is diverse, though seems to favor IPAs. I wound up trying their cider, which was a good, standard cider. My fiancee ordered a flight and was most impressed with the subtly fruity So So Soft IPA, though all the beers were solid. For lunch, we split an order of the three bean empanadas, which were perfectly crispy and served with a salsa that packed a bit of heat. I opted for the crispy fish tacos, which had fried white fish, a decent amount of cabbage slaw, guacamole, and chipotle ranch --- these were delicious. He ordered the jerk chicken tacos and felt they were a bit dry, but our leftover empanada salsa solved that problem. I appreciated the option to serve the tacos with a side salad instead of fries at no extra cost! Quick note re: parking --- we parked in a free 2-hr spot on the street, but there was a lot behind the building that a lot of the patrons were using.

Good vibes, good food and good brews. What more could you ask for! Also great service. They also have a smokehouse in Bryn Mawr which has a slightly different menu.

I think as many brewpubs in this area do, they are serving a broad-based taste for IPAs and "hoppy" beers.

We tried the French onion soup, which was delicious and different with the crispy onions on top. Poutine tots were crispy and delicious, but the tomato and avocado toppings didn't really make any sense. We split the French dip and signature cheesesteak, both generous portions and very flavorful. And the fries were perfection! We were really happy with our find - great service, very reasonably priced and big portions that gave us another whole meal! Excellent choice for folks that want to support an independent business in a sea of area chains.

An easy choice for a laid back afternoon in King of Prussia. We stopped into Workhorse Brewing Company for a Saturday lunch and walked away genuinely impressed. The space itself is massive and well laid out, making it ideal for groups while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. Even better, it is kid friendly, which makes it a great option when you want a brewery vibe without excluding the whole family. The drink program really shines here. The beer lineup was solid across the board, with styles for just about everyone. What surprised us most was the cocktail menu. They were running seasonal Christmas renditions, including an Old Fashioned that was festive without being gimmicky and genuinely excellent. It is refreshing to find a brewery that takes cocktails seriously. Food came out quickly and was better than expected. Everything we tried was tasty, but their take on the traditional Philly cheesesteak stood out and is absolutely worth ordering. Though a slight miss for the buffalo chicken cheeseteak, as it was dry and under seasoned. Overall, Workhorse is a great place to spend an afternoon. Whether you are meeting friends, bringing a group or even showing up with kids in tow, it delivers on drinks, food and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

It's certainly not the staff's fault and they've all been lovely, but it's been a significant wait every time we've come here. Moving to the food, it is phenomenal and why this place has a five star rating despite the above. The spinach artichoke dip and the tofu are both the best I've ever had at any restaurant ever. My husband got the steak sandwich and the bread was amazing and the steak was cooked perfectly as well. I got the curried cauliflower salad and the dressing was a bit too strong for me and unfortunately the salad was dressed very heavily. But the cauliflower was still cooked well. Despite the service situation, the food is so good that I will definitely be back.

I don't know if they raised prices during COVID, shrank portions, or if it was always a little imbalanced. It's not even a financial thing, I'm just still hungry after eating an entree. Curiously, the desserts are huge. Like shared for the table huge. The Pickle Pizza is excellent, as is the Steak Mac & Cheese. The Pork Taco are also really good and could sub for an entree for a light eater. Anyway, this place is my go-to before a show at 118 North across the street. I've never been disappointed, I just end up spending more than planned.
