"Low end of a good steak house." Really? My wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary T Level2 last night and the experience was incredible. Everything from the food to the staff was perfect. I ordered the filet and the temp was dead on. The crust on the outside was excellent and can only be achieved with pure skill. The entire meal was exceptional and the only draw back and it wasn't that big of a deal was that it was kinda dark inside. It made for reading the menu difficult. I highly recommend this steak house. We came in for the breakfast buffet. They have a continental breakfast available. The breakfast was included with our stay and so I don't know how much it was. It's your basic breakfast. They had eggs, bacon, sausage. An assortment of fruits, yoghurt and cereal. You can also order eggs if you'd like. I had an egg white omlette with mushrooms, spinach and jalapeños. They got the order wrong at first but they fixed it immediately. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. She took our drink orders and came back. Overall, it was a great experience. Basically this place is representative of Branson as a whole. They are charging Vegas prices for a very forgettable experience. For comparison, you can get a dry-aged prime ribeye at Jeff Ruby's for $70 that you will never forget it. It's worth every penny. Here you get charged $65 and there is no USDA or dry aging information at all. The sides were all VERY meh. Fries were soggy. Mashed potatoes came from a box. Ala Carte style. We had Tuna Sashimi, Calamari, Filets, Pork Osso Boco, Striped Bass, Steak soup, Beef Tenderloin Tips, Brussel sprouts, Mashed Potatoes, Mushrooms. The sashimi sets on a block of Himalayan sea salt. It had a curry seasoning seared first. It came with pineapple salsa it was bleh! Filet was wonderful according to hubby bear. So is the Mashed Potato. Very fluffy and buttery. Calamari steaks was so tender it melts in your mouth but the breading was soggy. I would order it again given the chance. Dad and mom enjoyed the steak soup. They said it was creamy and full bodied. Pork Osso Bocco was bleh. Fried grits just ruined it. Sweet sauce was meh. Tender enough but lacks in flavor. Made reservations a week ago and have been anxiously waiting to enjoy a wonderful evening. Unfortunately, my experience was not as it usually is. After being seated we waited about 15 minutes for someone to show up to our table to take drink orders and greet us. The service was not great, the steaks were ok, a bit dry and flavorless and our asparagus was terrible. My 11 year old son could possibly cook asparagus better. It was 85% huge chunks of purple onion & the 'grilled bread' was inedible unless you wanted to crack a tooth-rock hard. Ordered the salmon for a main course & the bacon roasted Brussel sprouts as a side. The bacon was all big, raw looking fatty pieces-no actual bacon. The salmon was so undercooked I had to send it back. When it was brought back out, my husband had already finished his meal so I took a couple bites and we asked for the check. The waitress was fine. However, neither a manager or the chef came to our table or offered any type of apology for the disappointing experience. I thought the price for it was a little high for just one crab cake but I would probably pay it again! We decided on the ribeye steak to share and 3 sides for our meal. The sides we chose were brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes, and button mushrooms. The brussel sprouts and mushrooms were delicious but I felt the mashed potatoes were lacking a little in flavor. Maybe more butter was needed or garlic or something? They were still good, just could've been better. Our steak was cooked perfectly and the choosing of your preferred knife with the knife service was a first for me! For dessert we chose the butter cake which had fresh berries and ice cream on it and came with a side of fresh whipped cream. It was a good portion for the 2 of us and definitely the icing on the cake!!! It was rich and sweet so if that's not your thing then pick something else but we enjoyed it! My wife got the Sangria which was one of the best I've ever had. My caipirinha was ok, not mixed well and had an odd aftertaste. We also ordered a shrimp cocktail and a special sea bass app. The sea bass was amazing but the cocktail was like a like of things on the menu, good but overpriced. It's a common theme with this place. My wife also got the L2 salad which was fairly bland. For entrees I got the filet which was cooked just like I ordered. It was a good but not great steak that greatly needed the butter and chive topping I added. For sides we ordered the mushrooms, carrots and asparagus. The carrots were tasteless. After one bite I was searching for the salt. The asparagus was tiny and just ok. Mushrooms good. None of the portion sizes matched the prices. Our dessert choices of the signature butter cake and creme brûlée were another highlight. The butter cake was one of the best I've had- but at $13 way too pricey. The brûlée was flavorful but did not have enough density. Overall. This is a good place that likes to charge like its a great place. Nice atmosphere. Service was good but slow and inconsistent. There is not a lot of extra help for the servers so it's all on them. Not many great places in Branson so if you are willing to shell out the cash you just might like it. read more

Here's my disclaimer, I don't eat steak. So I didn't get steak. My boyfriend, however, got the petit filet and wasn't 100% pleased with it because he had asked for medium and received a salty, medium-well steak. For my meal, I got the trio of sides. I didn't particularly want to gorge myself, as I wanted to save room for my favorite part of any meal - the dessert. We ordered the egg noodles with cheese sauce to share, in addition to our entrées. The egg noodles with cheese sauce had potential to be really good, but suffered because the noodles were drowning in the cheese sauce. The ratio of sauce to noodles was at least 10:1. It was wayyyy too much - even for my boyfriend who loves cheese. We spent a lot of time trying to drain the sauce from the noodles through the times of our forks, and eventually, we gave up after a quarter way through. What a waste of food, time, and money. For my trio of sides, I got asparagus, green beans, and fries. It was actually surprisingly filling, and I didn't finish all the fries or asparagus. None of it was spectacular by any means. Just average. We also ordered special Valentine's Day cocktails, as we were dining during that weekend. They were good for what they were. Dessert was the best part. We ordered the Missouri Butter Cake to share. It was delicious. Almost made up for all the negative things. Almost. The initial wait to be seated was the worst part of the whole experience. I had reservations, but due to the Valentine's Day weekend, we were told at our arrival that they were running behind. We ended up waiting a minimum of 45 minutes after our reservation time. I'm under the assumption that they don't usually run so late on normal weekend nights, so I can't comment to as whether this is indicative to how it usually is.
