Limited Shrimp cocktail - DELICIOUS!

What an incredible evening. The WARMEST reception, the BEST friendly service, and the MOST DELICIOUS food!!!Celebrated 2 birthdays and turned out Mother's Day was celebrated too!! So many amazing changes, special dishes for this weekend and music to enjoy. They cover every detail. We had prime rib, fillet, limited time shrimp cocktail, smoked trout, mushroom soup, garlic Alfredo pasta, & desserts. MUST EXPERIENCE!!!! So grateful to, finally, get family here, to see and experience Gaskin's! The new owners are beyond amazing!! Thank you!!!!

Garlic cream linguine

Beautiful inside and outside, loved the landscaping with the fire torches- had a gorgeous, romantic ambiance for sure! I was pretty dissapointed with my linguine pasta. It was practically flavorless and way overpriced for what it was- I didn't finish it because it just was so bland and the mushrooms didn't taste great. My husband loved his prime rib and we both thoroughly enjoyed the mushroom soup, which had a fantastic flavor. The chocolate bread pudding redeemed the meal for me as it was out of this world!

Prime Rib is perfect!

We were told to go here by a friend. It was last minute and it was our favorite stop while being in Eureka springs. When I tell you to order the mushroom soup, I AM TELLING YOU TO ORDER THE MUSHROOM SOUP. Wow I wanted to write home about it. I even asked for a cup to go. My boyfriend got the prime rib. Also delicious and huge portion. I got the chicken with the pasta and also delicious. Service was great and very quick! We were in and out in less than an hour. Ambiance was cute, it's in a sweet little cabin.

A fine steakhouse with good quality food, stellar service (mostly) and a very unique and comfortable vibe. After finding this place on-line, we decided to take a detour south from our Branson visit and see some of the sites in Eureka Springs with a dinner reservation for Gaskins. The place is very unassuming from the outside but the main part is about 150 years old. The hostess could've been a little friendlier and seemed to be thrown for a loop when we asked for a different table by the window. But our server was very kind and attentive. We shared the house specialty - the prime rib - not because we were being frugal but because neither of us eats large portions of meat anymore. She ordered a dinner salad (very small but fresh) and a side and I shared my prime rib and baked potato. Both were cooked perfectly and we still took home some beef for another day. We were pretty full but I had to try their special dessert: chocolate bread pudding. We took it home and had it later and it was wonderful! I consider myself somewhat of a bread pudding aficionado and this was something entirely different and new. Worth ordering! There was a newspaper article on the wall talking about the new owners as of 2008 and just to show the ravages of inflation, the prime rib was listed in the article at $37.50. As of 2024 it is $50.00. A great meal, unique surroundings, and a very nice visit.

This place never disappoints. Quiet and peaceful dining room. Service is excellent and everything we ordered was delicious!! Even if you don't like mushrooms ....try their soup!

What's the attire for the Springdale location?

Nothing super fancy but no swimsuits. I wore nice shorts and top

Our best meal in Eureka Springs…read more Not a ton of tables inside. Interesting ambiance with the rock bluff, which we were seated right next to. Had great service from Rhodes who was gracious and knowledgeable about the menu. He gave great suggestions. The Upside Down cocktail was delicious. A bit sweet for a whiskey drink, but very good. The salmon and steak were perfectly cooked. The asparagus and mushroom sides scrumptious. We split a slice of vanilla caramel cake which was divine. A perfect meal.

We showed up about 45 minutes early for our 8:30 reservation and did a quick walk through. Instead of waiting around, we wandered upstairs to The Stone House Tavern (right next door) for a drink, and here's the move: they serve the full Grotto menu. Same kitchen, totally different vibe. We grabbed a table and never left. The tavern has a cozy, dim-lit feel with a massive wall of books that immediately stands out. It's quiet, relaxed, and easy to actually enjoy a conversation no shouting over noise, no rushing through dinner. Service was great. Our server was kind, attentive, and we had a few genuine, easy conversations with her that made the whole experience feel even more relaxed. We started with the quail poppers and the baby romaine both solid, but more of a warm-up than the main event. The bone-in pork chop is the star. It's massive, cooked right, and easily shareable if you add a couple of sides. Don't skip the acorn squash it was one of the best things on the table. We also tried the full wings with three sauces, and those were just as good flavorful, not overdone, and a great balance to the heavier entrée. Overall, this place delivers on food, atmosphere, and experience. Bonus points for the upstairs "secret." We'd absolutely come back and probably go straight to the tavern again.

However, the first table they sat us at had the very large plush arm chairs. Which you sit and sink all the way to the floor. The table was at our chins. We asked to move and were reseated. But if they were busy, would not have been an option. We had great and attentive service from Tim. The scallops were divine. The pork was OK, but the apple relish made up for it a bit. Brussels sprouts cooked perfectly as vegetable of the day. We were too stuffed to try dessert.

Entrees came out around 10. My wife had the filet and I had the ribeye. They looked great but were terribly undercooked, so we had to send it back. Didn't really want to because we were eating so late, but it was that bad. Then the recook took so long we just had them box it up. However, the Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The staff were super nice. Maybe because they were taking shots back behind the bar where they thought we couldn't see them? lol Anyway, wouldn't recommend this place. I can see why it was so easy to get a reservation close to Valentine's Day.

They only open from 4-8 PM, and the wait is real--usually 1 to 1.5 hours. But it's part of the experience. There are cozy indoor and outdoor areas to hang out, grab a drink, play board games, and even strike up conversations with other people waiting. We usually do. The restaurant itself is set in a house--small, warm, and full of character. Even the little details stood out this time, like the updated photos on the walls with new black frames. We started with the roasted garlic smashed in butter with bread--easily one of the best starters they have. The stuffed mushrooms are a must too--fresh, simple, and done right. Tonight's special was lasagna, and if you see it, order it. They only make it a couple times a week. Thick layers, rich without being heavy, and just a subtle hint of cinnamon that makes it stand out. The spaghetti and meatballs is a classic here, and they execute it perfectly every time. Now the tough part... The tiramisu has always been our gold standard. We've compared every tiramisu we've had to this one--and usually order 2-3 to go. But this time, it missed. It was heavy on whipped cream and lacking that bold coffee flavor and the ladyfingers that make it what it is. We were honestly disappointed, especially since it's the dessert we rave about to everyone. That said, one off night won't keep us away. We'll definitely be back--and hoping the tiramisu returns to being the best we've had. Till then, I am updating this place to 4 stars from 5
