    Cowgirl breakfast
    Teresa W.

Great food and pretty good service. We stopped in for breakfast and wow they had a lot of delicious choices. My granddaughter got The Cowgirl breakfast and it was cooked exactly like she ordered it. I had the cattleman's breakfast it was a more than I could eat but everything on it was delicious. I also got a little side of their homemade salsa & all I can say about the salsa is WOW! It's so good tasted so fresh and made me feel like I was actually in old Mexico. The next time I come here I'm trying a Mexican breakfast item they have a few and I know from the flavor of the salsa they'd be fantastic. Anyway you can't miss this place it's at green forest stockyards. They normally have a lunch buffet but due to Covid it's not going on just yet. Come here and get some fresh and delicious food

Good service. The food came out fast from the kitchen. The food was okay, nothing special, but I would go back.

It has…read moreofficially become our nightly dinner tradition, and a huge part of that is because of Mary Hannah. We have been blessed to be served by her for over 10 years, and she is truly a treasure. Mary is phenomenal in every way. She remembers us each time, makes us feel at home, and treats us like family. Service like hers is rare, and it keeps us coming back year after year. The food, as always, was absolutely delicious. From the appetizers to the entrées, everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and amazing. We have never had a single bad experience only wonderful meals and even better memories. Landry's will forever be our Branson favorite, and Mary will always be the heart of our visits. If you're thinking about dining here, do yourself a favor and ask for her. She makes every visit unforgettable.

I wasn't pleased on how we were seated by the manager of all people. All I will say is that it was very embarrassing. And, I didn't appreciate the fake, and possibly even sarcastic, smile. 2nd...There was a lack of serving personnel. My wife and I were at a table with one other person (TTL of three). We received our entrees and FINISHED them before the 3rd person at our table was even served. I grabbed two waiters twice and each promised to bring the fixed portion entree and it didn't come for some time as detailed above. The employees were overwhelmed, even though we were there early and the dining room was only half-full. This location definitely didn't meet Tillman's high standards. In fact, I can't recall ever rating one of Tillman's restaurants three-stars like I did this one. The food was tasty, but the portion was minuscule. But, that was likely due to what the tour operator contracted for.

However, the first table they sat us at had the very large plush arm chairs. Which you sit and sink all the way to the floor. The table was at our chins. We asked to move and were reseated. But if they were busy, would not have been an option. We had great and attentive service from Tim. The scallops were divine. The pork was OK, but the apple relish made up for it a bit. Brussels sprouts cooked perfectly as vegetable of the day. We were too stuffed to try dessert.

Entrees came out around 10. My wife had the filet and I had the ribeye. They looked great but were terribly undercooked, so we had to send it back. Didn't really want to because we were eating so late, but it was that bad. Then the recook took so long we just had them box it up. However, the Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The staff were super nice. Maybe because they were taking shots back behind the bar where they thought we couldn't see them? lol Anyway, wouldn't recommend this place. I can see why it was so easy to get a reservation close to Valentine's Day.

The ambiance is one of rugged lodge and the menu gives the impression that you'll get exotic meats and fish prepared with an awe-inspiring uniqueness that you'll be looking forward to the next time you can visit. Unfortunately, it fell flatter than a carp. I ordered the fish tacos and couldn't have been more disappointed. The chips were bordering on stale, the "salsa" was actually store-bought Pace picante sauce. The fish, was just so-so and was NOT fresh. It had the rubbery hallmark of long-frozen fish over seasoned to hide the hint of "fishy" taste. The coleslaw was just store-bought shredded cabbage and the sour cream was Daisy. Not even an attempt at making a real crema or sauce. The chimichurri sauce was the only thing bringing a pleasant flavor to this dish. For $20, they do give 3 sizable tacos, but man are they forgettable. My wife got the Trout Almadine, and once again the fish wasn't fresh and the overwhelming almond crust and almond butter was trying to cover it up. Literally. The jalapeño corn bread was certainly a box of Jiffy Honey Cornbread mixed with minced jalapeños. We all loved it, but what can I say, Jiffy makes good cornbread... Overall, we left wishing we would've tried any of the other restaurants on this lively strip of Branson commercialism...but alas, we made a blunder. Pre-tip, we spent $96 on 2 entrees and 3 kid meals. No drinks, no apps, no joy. At least the service was fast and friendly.

Hands down the fried catfish was amazing - though it wasn't what I ordered. Unfortunately the seafood boil dinner was lackluster in presentation and they were out of several staple items for that night (We did get alternate items at no extra charge). I don't usually splurge on cuisine like this too often but when I do I hope for it to be nearly perfect, worth every penny and worth bragging about. The crab leg I've attached to this review was small and had almost no meat to it.. almost as if it were the last bit of crab they had left. The drinks came out very slow, had to ask a few times about drinks we had ordered and they were out of options (beers on tap) that night as well. The restaurant was really fun and full of character. But being an out-of-towner I was disappointed that I've had better sea food at chain restaurants vs a local establishment. Can't say I'd never come back, I would probably order something else and come on a less busy night...
