    Cowgirl breakfast
    Teresa W.

Great food and pretty good service. We stopped in for breakfast and wow they had a lot of delicious choices. My granddaughter got The Cowgirl breakfast and it was cooked exactly like she ordered it. I had the cattleman's breakfast it was a more than I could eat but everything on it was delicious. I also got a little side of their homemade salsa & all I can say about the salsa is WOW! It's so good tasted so fresh and made me feel like I was actually in old Mexico. The next time I come here I'm trying a Mexican breakfast item they have a few and I know from the flavor of the salsa they'd be fantastic. Anyway you can't miss this place it's at green forest stockyards. They normally have a lunch buffet but due to Covid it's not going on just yet. Come here and get some fresh and delicious food

Good service. The food came out fast from the kitchen. The food was okay, nothing special, but I would go back.

However, the first table they sat us at had the very large plush arm chairs. Which you sit and sink all the way to the floor. The table was at our chins. We asked to move and were reseated. But if they were busy, would not have been an option. We had great and attentive service from Tim. The scallops were divine. The pork was OK, but the apple relish made up for it a bit. Brussels sprouts cooked perfectly as vegetable of the day. We were too stuffed to try dessert.

Entrees came out around 10. My wife had the filet and I had the ribeye. They looked great but were terribly undercooked, so we had to send it back. Didn't really want to because we were eating so late, but it was that bad. Then the recook took so long we just had them box it up. However, the Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The staff were super nice. Maybe because they were taking shots back behind the bar where they thought we couldn't see them? lol Anyway, wouldn't recommend this place. I can see why it was so easy to get a reservation close to Valentine's Day.

These were amazing! I did not care for the sauce they were paired with however, but they were fantastic on their own. The cornbread was good, but extremely crumbly. Hard to eat without it falling apart with each bite. Also the butter served with it was a necessity for me because without it these cornbread muffins were pretty dry. For my entree i ordered the fried catfish. This was HUGE and well worth the $19.99 IMO. I only was able to eat one fillet and the fries before i was stuffed. My wife got the large Ceaser salad and shared it with my son, and my daughter enjoyed an order of fries and the appetizers. They aren't big seafood people and I had promised them ice-cream afterwards if they agreed to come here. Service was great and the food was fast and fresh! Bottomline: The hype for White River Fish House is legit, and is a great stop if your looking for a good seafood option in the Branson Landing area. The view over the lake / river is gorgeous and the rustic wood sportsman cabin theme is a personal favorite of mine. Only change i would make is that I should have gotten the Walleye.

Breakfast had the standard offerings but I loved their biscuits to order anything else. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and added bacon and it was tasty. Our order: 1 Jack Daniels & Coke = $6.00 2 Kids Juice = $3.98 2 Mac & Cheese = $13.98 (my daughter had two servings) 1 Kids Grilled Cheese = $5.79 1 Patty Melt = $9.99 1 Slice Possum Pie = $3.99 Service was on the slow side both times. The food is reminiscent of Cracker Barrel. The ambiance is similar too, although, Mae's has many old photos of historic Eureka Springs which I adored. We all shared a piece of possum pie which is a famous layered dessert of Arkansas. I'd never had it, but was dying to try it. Highly recommend. The sweet two little old ladies beside us asked about it... There is a small gift shop with local items on display such as jewelry, books, and several foods in jars. Not sure if I'm a raving fan just yet, but it's a good go-to restaurant if everything else is crowded. They do close a bit early, though.
