Food and service here are excellent. It is a bit crowded, but guess what? The place is popular. I would be more concerned if it were empty all the time.

This was great since we are staying in a hotel! This is a really cute spot in Eureka Springs. Not too far outside of downtown. There is parking but not a bunch so it stayed pretty full. We decided to share. We got a dinner salad, summer rolls (not fried here) with shrimp, and the avocado curry with chicken. They do have fried rolls but they call them spring rolls here. I'm used to spring rolls being the rice paper and not fried. They have both. The spring rolls were very good. The peanut sauce is a bit sweet for me but still good. You get 4! The dinner salad was plenty for both of us. I'm not sure what the dressing is that came with it but it was way too sweet for us. I don't think it was a Ginger dressing which I thought would be their house. We would have preferred another dressing but otherwise enjoyed the salad. The avocado curry with chicken was very good. I never know what spice level to get. Some places are too mild and others are hotter even at low levels. My partner doesn't like a lot of spice. I couldn't decide if I should go with mild at 1 (on a scale of 1-5) or go with 2 because I do like some spice (but not so much I can't taste the food). The really nice woman up front said, we can do 1.5 so I said, yes! Well, I guess I am in Arkansas... ha ha. I will definitely ask for 3 when I'm back again. I couldn't taste any heat. Otherwise, the avocado curry was very good. Unique for me. I had not had avocado curry before. Had a bunch of large pieces of avocado! We would definitely go back to Thai House when visiting again. It's one of the only Asian restaurants I have seen in town.

Our order: 1 Jack Daniels & Coke = $6.00 2 Kids Juice = $3.98 2 Mac & Cheese = $13.98 (my daughter had two servings) 1 Kids Grilled Cheese = $5.79 1 Patty Melt = $9.99 1 Slice Possum Pie = $3.99 Service was on the slow side both times. The food is reminiscent of Cracker Barrel. The ambiance is similar too, although, Mae's has many old photos of historic Eureka Springs which I adored. We all shared a piece of possum pie which is a famous layered dessert of Arkansas. I'd never had it, but was dying to try it. Highly recommend. The sweet two little old ladies beside us asked about it... There is a small gift shop with local items on display such as jewelry, books, and several foods in jars. Not sure if I'm a raving fan just yet, but it's a good go-to restaurant if everything else is crowded. They do close a bit early, though. However, the first table they sat us at had the very large plush arm chairs. Which you sit and sink all the way to the floor. The table was at our chins. We asked to move and were reseated. But if they were busy, would not have been an option. We had great and attentive service from Tim. The scallops were divine. The pork was OK, but the apple relish made up for it a bit. Brussels sprouts cooked perfectly as vegetable of the day. We were too stuffed to try dessert.

Entrees came out around 10. My wife had the filet and I had the ribeye. They looked great but were terribly undercooked, so we had to send it back. Didn't really want to because we were eating so late, but it was that bad. Then the recook took so long we just had them box it up. However, the Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes were delicious. The staff were super nice. Maybe because they were taking shots back behind the bar where they thought we couldn't see them? lol Anyway, wouldn't recommend this place. I can see why it was so easy to get a reservation close to Valentine's Day.

The wine list was varied and reasonably priced. The server seemed scattered and distracted, however, and even though there was only one other table of guests, she kept forgetting basic things. We overlooked this detail because the source of her distraction was blaringly obvious. The bartender ranted on throughout our entire time there, grousing loudly about her disappointing tips from the night before, her working conditions, her fellow employees, and, and, and. She complained to any and all staff who came into the bar, as well as to a party seated next to us. It made for an overall toxic atmosphere and a rather disappointing evening. The server even apologized more than once for her behavior. We were there to celebrate my birthday.

My husband and I showed up with our 2-yr old and 9-month old, and quickly realized we were the only patrons with kids in our party. Not to worry. We were seated in the cutest nook that gave us great visibility, but also some privacy in cases our kids acted like, well--kids. The menus light up, which was a big hit with me AND my toddler. Our waiter Andy suggested the Curried stew, but also said the Cioppino was quite good. I ordered the King Crab special and was floored by how flavorful it was. It paired so nicely with the Yukon gold mashed potatoes. Prices were reasonable. Now for the best part (drum roll please) The Music. Oh my word I danced in my seat all night until I finally dragged my husband to go dance with me. To whoever curated the music list *chef's kiss*. Al Green, Anita Baker, Guy, Sade, Patsy Cline, Next, After 5, and so much more. Whenever you're in Eureka Springs, go check them out. I hear the chocolate martinis are divine.

We had been reccomended this place by a local masseuse after our wedding and we are so glad we tried it! Very creative perfectly done dishes, nice little view ticked away just a short drive from the main strip. We had 2 flights of wine to start, they have a pretty good wine selection. We tried a total of 3 main dishes and dessert here. The goat was tender and cooked just right, I am always on the hunt for goat cooked right and honestly it's been quite a long time but this place did not disappoint!! The duck was my absolute favorite, so much flavor packed in, man am I a sucker for some good duck. It was also the first time I tried trout so I man not be able to give too much of an opinion on it but I love when a resturant leaves the skin on a fish and it was nice and crisp not soggy skin at all. We ordered dessert as well even though we could barely stuff anything else in but it was a lovely sweet dish that was still light and decadent. Next time we visit Eureka Springs we will certainly stop back here!! Wish this was near my home!
