    Opossum Pie
    Ian E.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western so Myrtie Mae's was a convenient spot for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is what you'd expect from a classic American diner. I had bacon eggs and hashbrowns with a pancake à la cart. It was good and the service was fast. We came back for dinner, mostly because we wanted some pie. While everything on the menu sounded good we only shared an appetizer of potato skins to save room for Opossum Pie. The pie was soo good. We also ended up getting a cinnamon roll to go, and we ate that in the morning before hitting the road.

Good food. Nice dinning room area. Pleasant. Great experience every time. Wait staff pleasant. Great salad bar.

Basic breakfast menu. The food was good. I ordered the Myrtie Mae's omelette with hash browns, and biscuits and gravy. The hash browns were a little overcooked for me but still not bad. The service was okay. Our waitress was trying to get everyone taken care but was going to fast and about spilled coffee on us. All in all I still recommend giving this place a try. They had a salad bar that was being set up for lunch, while we were eating, and it looked fantastic!

Amazing salad bar and large portions of food. Food was good but the salad bar is definitely worth the few dollars to add to the meal.

Food: limited selection for what is considered "healthy options" but what they have is fantastic. Service: FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!! Unlike chain restaurants there was hardly any wait to order or to receive your order. It was also hot and not crusty dry from heat lamps. Ambiance: best place to meet local people and find out the best places to visit that are not "touristy".

Turkey Club with fries and onion rings.

Stopped at the restaurant when driving through Eureka Springs area. Was very clean. Comfortable atmosphere, not too loud, though I bet when it gets busy it's hoppin'. Got the turkey club, split onion rings and fries with hubby, and salad bar. Sandwich was exactly how I'd make it at home, with crispy bacon and Swiss. Beer battered onion rings were fabulous. Fries were crispy goodness. Nice little salad bar with good options. Service was excellent. Left totally full and wishing we lived closer.

Food was simply delicious. The prices were reasonable. Totally worth it. The service was great. Shiloh was attentive, funny, and made sure we were taking care of. He wasn't overbearing like other waiters I've experienced. Ambiance is quiet and relaxing. We will definitely come back.

Great food and great service. Went there during the UGO conference and expected a long wait, but was seated and served almost immediately.

We had been reccomended this place by a local masseuse after our wedding and we are so glad we tried it! Very creative perfectly done dishes, nice little view ticked away just a short drive from the main strip. We had 2 flights of wine to start, they have a pretty good wine selection. We tried a total of 3 main dishes and dessert here. The goat was tender and cooked just right, I am always on the hunt for goat cooked right and honestly it's been quite a long time but this place did not disappoint!! The duck was my absolute favorite, so much flavor packed in, man am I a sucker for some good duck. It was also the first time I tried trout so I man not be able to give too much of an opinion on it but I love when a resturant leaves the skin on a fish and it was nice and crisp not soggy skin at all. We ordered dessert as well even though we could barely stuff anything else in but it was a lovely sweet dish that was still light and decadent. Next time we visit Eureka Springs we will certainly stop back here!! Wish this was near my home!

The wine list was varied and reasonably priced. The server seemed scattered and distracted, however, and even though there was only one other table of guests, she kept forgetting basic things. The bartender ranted on throughout our entire time there, grousing loudly about her disappointing tips from the night before, her working conditions, her fellow employees, and, and, and. She complained to any and all staff who came into the bar, as well as to a party seated next to us. It made for an overall toxic atmosphere and a rather disappointing evening. The server even apologized more than once for her behavior. We were there to celebrate my birthday.

This was great since we are staying in a hotel! This is a really cute spot in Eureka Springs. Not too far outside of downtown. There is parking but not a bunch so it stayed pretty full. We decided to share. We got a dinner salad, summer rolls (not fried here) with shrimp, and the avocado curry with chicken. They do have fried rolls but they call them spring rolls here. I'm used to spring rolls being the rice paper and not fried. They have both. The spring rolls were very good. The peanut sauce is a bit sweet for me but still good. You get 4! The dinner salad was plenty for both of us. I'm not sure what the dressing is that came with it but it was way too sweet for us. I don't think it was a Ginger dressing which I thought would be their house. We would have preferred another dressing but otherwise enjoyed the salad. The avocado curry with chicken was very good. I never know what spice level to get. Some places are too mild and others are hotter even at low levels. My partner doesn't like a lot of spice. I couldn't decide if I should go with mild at 1 (on a scale of 1-5) or go with 2 because I do like some spice (but not so much I can't taste the food). The really nice woman up front said, we can do 1.5 so I said, yes! Well, I guess I am in Arkansas... ha ha. I will definitely ask for 3 when I'm back again. I couldn't taste any heat. Otherwise, the avocado curry was very good. Unique for me. I had not had avocado curry before. Had a bunch of large pieces of avocado! We would definitely go back to Thai House when visiting again. It's one of the only Asian restaurants I have seen in town.
