    Cobb salad and chips
    Catherine W.

The chips and dips (salsa and mango) were great! All made in house and the tortilla chips were fantastic. I had a Cobb salad and it was big (enough to share) and really good. Even the tortilla chips went well with it. Service was fast and friendly. I sat inside and the ambiance is cute, laid back. There's a wrap around porch seating and another cute (and shaded) patio on the side that is surrounded by a stone wall and a nice canopy of trees.

One of the best patio spots in downtown Eureka Springs. If you can grab a table outside, do it--the view overlooking the street is perfect for people-watching and soaking in the vibe. The food matches the setting. The crab cakes are better than most places--crispy on the outside, packed with flavor, and not overly heavy. The cobb salad is a standout too--loaded with a great mix of toppings (definitely check the pic), fresh, and actually filling. The meatball & grits were solid, and the wedge fries on the side hit the spot--simple but done right. This is an easy, go-to lunch spot whether you're taking a break from exploring downtown or wrapping up a day walking around. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and a perfect place to slow things down for a bit.

It was a beautiful day in Eureka Springs to enjoy outdoor dining at the Local Flavor Cafe in late April. A girls trip had us enjoying drinks and sharing the delicious crab cakes before enjoying our entrees. Of course we have to share a bite from each of our plates, Quiche, Reuben, and Fish Tacos. The quiche is crustless and a good recommendation from our waitress, I was happy with my Rueben and the coleslaw was creamy with good flavor, and my friend enjoyed the fish taco so much that she asked for a side of their mango salsa to go!

Came back while in town (because this place is amazing!) and sat outside for lunch. The side porch is so cute and the weather was perfect! Chad was great, funny and we had a wonderful time. I got the Turkey Brie and Bacon ciabatta and my partner got the cheeseburger. Soooo good. Can't say enough great things about Local Flavor!

Came back for lunch today, first Time for lunch. Sat outside on a beautiful fall day. I had the bacon cheeseburger with thick cut fries. The burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The bun was nice and soft and good. The fries were very good, wont go wrong with them. I then had a little room left and had the bread pudding. This is an entire meal by itself and is about as good as it gets. Service was very good and the price was fair.

Four stars because it was good but could've been better. Service was good. Our server got the job done. No complaints about her. The Blood orange mimosa The food was not hot. The cheese on top of the grits had not even melted. The flavor was there on everything it just needed to be hot. I recommend the crab cakes Benedict. Good flavor and served over house made focaccia in lieu of the traditional English muffin. The focaccia was great! And they use the left overs to make croutons for salads. The eggs were perfectly poached. Whites cooked through with a nice runny yolk. Sitting on the balcony is nice.

Special of the day. It was chicken... my daughter's choosing 7.23.2025

Local Flavor Cafe was a place my oldest daughter found for me on 7.23.2025 while I was driving into Eureka Springs, AR. We first had to find public parking near the Downtown Trolley Station and Ticket Office which I paid for with an app. It was $2.15 for 2 hours. When we got up to the entrance, I had my girl go inside to request a table on the patio since we had our dog. Our winsome waiter, Ken, and the hostess (forgot her name) treated our dog so kindly, even bringing her another bowl of water (of course I had one down for her already!) and commenting on how calm she was. We enjoyed the food in large part: + Coke ($3.00) + Dr Pepper ($3.00) + Orange Wine Flight ($18.00) + Grilled Salmon ($18.00) + Reuben Sandwich ($14.00) + Special ($15.00) + Side Fries ($4.00) The food was not super outstanding or memorable, but definitely good for lunch. I highly recommend a wine flight. They had 3 different options. I bumped up my rating to 5 stars primarily due to their exemplary hospitality and dog-friendly patio. Yum! The chicken with goat cheese and olive tapenade was out of this world! My husband's strip steak was delicious. And I loved the added treat of the sage against the machine mocktail!

My wife and I had an amazing experience! We were greeted with a smile and sat pretty quickly considering how busy they were. We ordered two delicious cocktails-Moscow Mule and Butterfly Effect. The food was exceptional as well-crab cakes as an appetizer and turkey, avocado and pepper jack sandwich. Our server was personable and attentive. Great vibe-clean, well lit and decorated beautifully. Will definitely go back.

Kid's macaroni and cheese, clearly disguised as penne Alfredo--so good!

FOOD: outstanding food and cocktails. My grandson had the "Mac & Cheese" he thought for kids. Instead, he got penne, Alfredo sauce with pepper. We're not mad about it because he finally broke out of the Kraft blue box and loved it! My daughter and I split the Walleye and it was near perfection. The Bootleg Flapper was a Bullet Rye whiskey cocktail that I wanted to drink all day long. ATMOSPHERE: is beautiful and charming. Great place for families, date night or dinner with the girls. SERVICE: our server was Sarah and she could not have been any better. Warm, friendly and efficient. TIPS: take home a dessert but get the recipe for that cocktail! Yum!

We had a 6:30 p.m. reservation but arrived around 6:00 pm to figure out downtown parking. We expected to wait, but what bothered us was watching two couples with the same reservation time arrive after us and get seated first. We weren't seated until 6:33 pm. The host wasn't welcoming or accommodating. Our server didn't seem to care about us and was not attentive, and she came across as more snobby than friendly. The food, however, was exceptional. The Caesar salad was outstanding, featuring a high-quality eggless dressing with a mustard-forward flavor. The smoked short rib was generously portioned and a great value, especially since many upscale restaurants charge extra for sides. The mac and cheese, had great flavor but was very rich and thick, making it quite heavy. The smoked duck was another standout--perfectly cooked. I think a berry-based sauce would've elevated it even more than the tangy barbecue sauce, but it was still delicious. The restaurant itself has character. In the back, there's a cave-like structure where we were seated, which made the experience feel unique and memorable. I just wish the hospitality had matched the caliber of the kitchen, because no matter how good the meal is, we didn't feel genuinely welcomed.
