We just arrived into town, had checked in at a nearby hotel and were directed here for lunch. Remember, this is a cash only establishment. Our table ordered the fish and chips, the burger, and the pimento cheese sandwich. The fries are exceptional here. I would order them again in a heartbeat. The pimento cheese sandwich was served on a hamburger bun which was a bit weird but the cheese spread was great. We enjoyed lunch on the shady outdoor patio. The service was very attentive, fast and friendly. Our waiter brought out a water bowl for my pup which was an awesome thing to do on a warm June day. This was a nice, homey out-of-the-way restaurant at sort of the end of the Eureka Springs main drag where it isn't such a zoo. They have very shady outdoor seating which is always appreciated. The host/manager/guy who's in charge was so great-he spotted us looking at the menu and came out and asked us if we had any questions (without being pushy) and then told us to seat ourselves outside if we decided to stay which we did. Service was excellent, very fast. I had a ham salad sandwich with a bag of chips which was very tasty, my husband had fish and chips and my daughter had a Caesar salad with a side of fries (I know, she's a weirdo). The fries were especially good. I had a house-made sangria and my daughter had a mai tai out of a can lol but it was still delicious (of course I tried it). Hubs had beer. (Didn't try it, i know what beer tastes like). I've seen some comments about cash only but it isn't so don't worry about that. I would definitely make a point of going back here. So we stopped by here on realllly hot day to get a beer and snack and the prices are fairly cheap and reasonable.. I mean for some beers and a snack we weren't out more then 35 bucks after tip.. The waiters there were really nice and I will be coming back for a quick drink again and maybe something more.. Would be a great break from shopping around town. read more

I love going to the eureka grill any time I'm in town! the pimento sandwich is always my go to until I tried the new burger they have it's so delicious! they also accept cards now which is soooooo convenient! the staff has always been amazing and attentive. Came in this little hole in the wall for lunch. Very basic food. The burger was like 8.50? It was pretty pathetic. What bummed me out the most was finding out that this was a CASH ONLY restaurant. I didn't see that posted anywhere, even afterwards when I looked. I had to walk down the street to an atm to withdraw cash and was charged 3.50. There are plenty of better places very close by. This place is perfectly situated in a corner nook on Spring St., and they have patio dining along with inside tables. The menu is not huge, but they also offer a variety of daily specials with several made from scratch items. I had a bratwurst with potato salad, and my dining partner had a garden salad with chicken. So, it's simple food, yes, but it was done really well, and when you're hungry and tired and a little heat crazed this is a nice find at the top of one of those hamstring stretcher hills that are all over ES. Very nice waitstaff and the prices were very reasonable compared to some places in this resort town. Would like to go back for a drink on the patio and some people watching! Stopped for lunch while walking around historic downtown Eureka Springs. Tucked away in a corner spot, I wasn't even sure they served food. Saw some guests with some fries though and circled back to look at the menu. For some reason I was in the mood for some fish. Although I was told the trout was not fresh caught I went for it anyway. Worst customer service EVER I do NOT recommend this place to anyone unless you like being called names and told you are WRONG. The manager is very RUDE and inconsiderate!!! If I were the owner he would not be working there any longer. We walked in-there were 12 of us- we had to sit at 3 different tables -so we ended up being 3 parties of four. My sister and I tried to tell the manager that the girls at another table were to be on our ticket. He didn't do that. However because we walked in together she added a 20% gratuity to ALL of our bills. But Lee in mind. We were not all sat together. I questioned him and he told me I was WRONG. LONG STORY SHORT-he ended up calling me a belligerent bitch and told me to stop having a hissy fit. I never once raised my voice to him but all he said was you are wrong. And then to top it off I had to go back in because he overcharged me by $35.00. I hope that he gets fired as the food was good but the owner has a SORRY MANAGER working for them who's going to end up putting them out of business. While we were discussing the bill 6 People left and said they would never be back because of the way he was speaking to my sister, my mother, and myself! Worst nachos I've ever experienced. Walked in Sunday afternoon and ordered the "Special", their "Super Nachos with Pulled Pork" ($11) with a side of guacamole (extra $2). What arrived was a plate of chips with some black beans right out of the can, topped with maybe a handful of chips with oily "crockpot" pulled pork mixed in, cheddar cheese melted into the mess with a gob of sour cream on top. The guacamole was out of a jar. Wish I'd taken a photo as it was absolutely horrible. The fries were indeed hand cut and cooked just right. Malt vinegar was available which is required when the fries are "real". The tacos had deep fried fish which was just ok. Toppings were fresh.
