We…read morewere needing to check in early to shower and get ready, and the front desk did make sure we were taken care of - albeit for a fee. Their communication was great. The hotel's front desk team and manager, Olivia, are a massive bright spot in an otherwise terrible hotel. The bellhop, Marcos, was also incredibly friendly and very helpful. Without those two people this place would be absolute trash. I can't in good conscience give them 1 star, even though they deserve it. The overall service is abysmal. The bar staff stood there talking for nearly 3 1/2 minutes right in front of me before acknowledging my presence. This was at 2pm and they weren't busy. They were actually having a conversation about their recent break and their plans for after work. As far as the room, it's old and things creak - which is likely part of its charm. But the beds suck and this is not part of the charm. The balcony door doesn't close correctly so it's hot as hell inside when it's hot outside. This is also because the AC unit can't keep up. But at least the plumbing doesn't work. First thing I did was blow my nose and threw a small bit of folded toilet paper in the toilet and flushed it. It didn't flush. Spoke with the hotel and they said it would be fixed. When we returned the toilet was still not working properly. Amazingly, these issues weren't even close to the worst part. The restaurant staff were absolute trash. I wish I remembered the barista's name from the coffee bar in the hotel's main dining room. I went down to get my wife and I a coffee as we were checking out. She barely acknowledges me. When she finally does she rudely tells me that she has to take care of the dining room guests first and that I must wait. Given my experience with other staff, I just told her not to worry and started to walk off. She called me back and said she could get to me after the order she was currently finishing. I'm guessing she thought I was headed to complain by the immediate change in her attitude. It then took her over 13 min to make two lattes. I came back to pay and she rudely instructed me to go to the front desk to break my $100 bill to pay. I came back to pay, and 2 10oz (approximate) coffees were almost $19. This hotel sucks, it's not haunted except by shitty service. And it is so overpriced. One balcony room was $335 + $35 for early check-in - shitty service included.

When it comes to pure flavor and quality, this place easily earns a 5/5 stars. The brisket is phenomenal--expertly smoked with an incredible bark, melt-in-your-mouth tenderness, and rich flavor that stands up to the best out there. To top it off, the supporting cast of sides is fantastic, rounding out the meal perfectly. As for the value, I'd rate the quantity and price closer to a 3.5 to 4 stars. The portions are definitely not huge, and considering the price point, they really should include at least 50% more meat to make it feel worth the cost. The Verdict: I would definitely go back because the quality is hard to beat, though the price-to-portion ratio means it will likely be more of a periodic treat rather than a regular stop. Great service and love the local flair of the location. It's also at a trail head and makes it a nice stop for a beer and grub spot.

I ate here for my birthday and was really pleased with the food and the level of attentive service. We made reservations for Saturday night and the restaurant was a little less than half full. Social distancing and proper masking by the waitstaff was enforced and made us feel a lot better about dining out. We had actually chosen this place after going into Eureka Springs and being alarmed at the rampant maskless people, so we felt more comfortable being in a place like this. We started out with the scallops in the half shell. They were incredible and were perfect cooked! For our entrees, I ordered a delicious pasta dish with shrimp and red peppers and my husband got the filet with bleu cheese. Both dishes were excellent and really hit the spot. For dessert we ordered the peanut butter pie and the carrot cake. They were both slightly too sweet, but were very good. We arrived and there was no one at the door so we headed out to the patio to find a seat. The hostess found us and asked that we come back and get on the waiting list for seating, so we did. No problem. She took my number to text us when the table was ready and we were told we could get a cocktail table outside and order drinks from there while we waited. We got a table and no one approached us so I headed back inside to the bar for drinks and after 5 minutes of sitting there, the hostess comes up to me and says my name asking if that is me and says our table is ready outside. And that that's where we can order drinks. So I follow her out to a dirty table that she says she'll be back to clean for us, leaves and then comes back with another couple saying it's actually their table and we'll need to wait for another one. I let my friend know and headed back into the bar and ordered us drinks and brought them back out to our cocktail table where we proceeded to watch party after party who came in behind us get seated. We finished our drinks and left in frustration.
