The drapes were hung so beautiful and the black chandelier is gorgeous. My favorite part is the bathroom. It has pink floral wallpaper and it's so quaint. The whole room was filled with such detail and intention. Michael is such a wonderful cook. There were homemade scones and cinnamon rolls served with eggs, bacon or sausage and they also had little parfaits. I had to have everything because it smells so delicious! Totally worth it to stretch my waistline. Joana mentioned they plan to open a bed and breakfast in France! With the wonderful couple hosting, you know I'll be there! I was standing outside to learn at 11:05 that they closed at 11:00 p.m. the gentleman at the desk said he could not go get my vehicle unless I waited 2 hours so he gave me the key to go hunt it down in a seven car parking garage. I was not too happy. As I was walking to the parking garage I noticed the vehicle that look like mine on the side outside the parking garage. I decided before I walked up and tried to find it in the parking garage that I would set the alarm and see if that one was mine. It ended up being mine and very grateful that the staff member working that day was nice enough to pull it out for me. It would have been nice if they would have left that information with the front desk but still very grateful that I do not have to search a seven-story parking garage to find my vehicle... they did not close out my tab until in the morning the whole time prior to that it kept saying my car was being delivered which was a little odd.

You have to sit at an angle on the bed to use. There is one chair in the corner but it won't fit there, nor really anywhere. There's only one bedside table have to use the chair for the other side table. As the trip went on I felt more frustrated and angry wit this design I didn't think was possible to happen, and it's on purpose! We too found that the owners were gracious hosts and the breakfast was delicious. I want to add two thoughts. First, the neighborhood was very quiet with lots of well kept and interestingly landscaped old houses, and it was a safe pleasant walk to Crystal Bridges and downtown. Second, if you wanted to drive to Bentonville with a friend who didn't want to go to Crystal Bridges, your friend would be just fine hanging around Laughlin House watching movies on their nice TVs, reading, or sitting (at least in the Spring) in their garden while you visit the museum.

The fireplace in the main dining made the daily continental breakfast buffet and dinner (Mon-Thur) a cozy affair. Alas, since I was on a business trip, I didn't have much time to check out their other amenties (fitness, pool, convenience store), but it was good to know that they were available. I really liked having a separate living area with a couch, giving us plenty of room to relax instead of being confined to just a bedroom. The bathroom was also clean and well maintained. One of the highlights was the complimentary hot breakfast. There were plenty of options to choose from, which made for a great start before heading out for the day. The hotel also has an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. Overall, Homewood Suites by Hilton Bentonville-Rogers was a great choice for our Arkansas road trip--clean rooms, plenty of space, a convenient location, and a really good breakfast. Definitely a place I would stay at again when visiting Northwest Arkansas.
