We got a table and no one approached us so I headed back inside to the bar for drinks and after 5 minutes of sitting there, the hostess comes up to me and says my name asking if that is me and says our table is ready outside. And that that's where we can order drinks. So I follow her out to a dirty table that she says she'll be back to clean for us, leaves and then comes back with another couple saying it's actually their table and we'll need to wait for another one. I let my friend know and headed back into the bar and ordered us drinks and brought them back out to our cocktail table where we proceeded to watch party after party who came in behind us get seated. We finished our drinks and left in frustration.

She couldn't tell me who's it was though or what it was for. She also refused to tell me anything about the charge, except that it was someone from a different department that got my information from my file. I asked if its a charge to the room, shouldn't i have a check sheet to tell me extra charges. Maddie said yea we do that! to which i asked 'ok, why am I not getting that same treatment". This conversation lead no-where just that Manager would contact me. I thought either I lost my card in the room and the room service found it and tried to use it illegally or they are trying to charge my card for something I did not purchase (fraud). The Next morning a Manager named Ashley called and attempted to retract everything Maddie stated saying "she is new and doesn't know what she is talking about, there is not charge'. Even though i had proof in my email of a declined purchase on a frozen card from Surrey Vacation CO. She then tried to tell me that my card was never charged and refused to listen or except the evidence i was trying to show her. I asked to speak with the GM of the Hotel which I was told would call Friday and she/he has not called. At this point I have filed a police report for fraud on my debit card at their location. I can't believe they would try and cover something like this up instead of helping out a guest. It is ridiculous if they are covering for an employee that stole my information, it will come out and its also ridiculous if its just stupid room charge, why not just talk to me about that. I don't understand all the secrets. This kind of behavior makes me think they are hiding facts they don't ant to come out. Be careful staying here your information is up for anyone to get ahold.

The bed slides all over the place and has marred up the wall pretty badly. There is almost no water pressure in the shower. It was to the point that I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to since the shampoo out of my hair is someone decided to use the sink in another room. If this place was about $50 less per night, it would be great. I don't think we'll be staying here again after this weekend.

The drapes were hung so beautiful and the black chandelier is gorgeous. My favorite part is the bathroom. It has pink floral wallpaper and it's so quaint. The whole room was filled with such detail and intention. Michael is such a wonderful cook. There were homemade scones and cinnamon rolls served with eggs, bacon or sausage and they also had little parfaits. I had to have everything because it smells so delicious! Totally worth it to stretch my waistline. Joana mentioned they plan to open a bed and breakfast in France! With the wonderful couple hosting, you know I'll be there! Killer breakfast in the morning with plenty of food. Fruit was the best and so fresh and delicious. Pastries were equally as fresh. The presentation and vibe of the dining area was nicely done. Breakfast order was cooked as requested and yummy. I am sorry we were able to spend more time, not only in the area, but at The Victoria. It takes a special couple to own and manage a B and B and Michael and Joana have it mastered to a fine art! You won't be disappointed to add this to your list of places to stay if you are in the vicinity.

The resort is located on shared land so it's not private. We were interested in the Moriah which offers an amazing view but it's literally located right off the dirt road. Your guests would be parking and sitting down within 50 feet of their cars. If you book a package with a cabin, make sure the cabin isn't for sale. Plus they only ever had cabin 6 or the "house" open. The roads leading up to the cabins are treacherous. They mention how easy it is to cancel for "whatever" reason necessary but don't explain it's not a full refund. Visit the place before booking.
