Where do I even start? Kerri is a phenomenal photographer and person. The day we did our engagement…read moreshoot, it was hot (August in Palm Springs). She brought water, cooler packs, and wet rags to cool us down. At one point I sat in her car to cool off! For such a hot day, she made sure we were comfortable and safe. :) That is just one example!! She also bought a huge American flag for a prop. She already had ideas for poses, and let me be involved in the style I wanted. Even before I met her, we had already texted many many times, and she was so proactive in sending me sample pictures, giving me tips on my makeup, and ensuring that we were hydrated!! She also brought both her daughter and son, who were helpful the entire time, even though it was hot and it was Saturday evening! They were a fabulous team. As for the photos, they came out so incredibly gorgeous. I've never felt confident in any photo shoot before, but the photos she came up with were in turns beautiful, elegant, sweet, romantic, etc. She made us feel comfortable, and we were able to be ourselves and enjoy the time together as a couple. Kerri went above and beyond what we expected. She was flexible yet professional. Her prices are incredibly reasonable and her photos are stunning. Thank you Kerri for such an amazing day!

My fiancé and I were looking for a photographer who could capture some great photos for our…read moreengagement photos. Let me tell you, Kerri will forever share a memory in our lives after our shoot. She incorporated our military life which takes so much of my time and our civilian life which is us on our date nights. All the while capturing our promise through incorporating Sara's engagement ring, our future name together, and just our joy of being with each other. If you are considering Kerri I would definitely tell you to give her a shot.

Mike was great throughout the experience of hiring of him as our wedding photographer and the…read morephotography process. He was quickly responsive through the hiring process, answering questions, and since we were from out of state (having a "destination wedding" in Eureka Springs), was very willing to work around our tight schedule to help get in the "engagement" photos in addition to wedding photos he has as a part of his wedding package. (We're very glad we went through with the engagement photos rather than seeking to reduce the price of the wedding photos so they weren't included.) Mike's a quirky, quiet, artistic type of guy, which I liked about him. He's the type of guy that makes me seem to be an extrovert, even though I'm not. But it's not hard to get him out of his shell: he enjoys his work and wants you to like his photos, so it was very fun to talk about photography and what we like about various things. (We also bonded over local brewery beer, even though he's not as much as a beer snob as we are.) He has a real eye for catching the light and specific shots. I let him know some of the shots I knew my family would have to have, but when possible, I tried to let him make the decisions, because I could tell that my interference would endanger the photos I would get. I was right and I loved our photos. I did have to remind him to follow up, and get us the final product, because I think he's the artsy-forgetful type. But I really enjoyed working with him and loved what I received, which I think was worth far, far more than what we paid for.
