This place couldn't be any better if they tried. My husband and I had just pulled into Bentonville after a long day at work and then a 3.5 hour drive from KC. We were exhausted and this was a spot that was on my list to hit up while we were there. The only thing dangerous about Danger Dave's was the attitude of the fellow behind the bar. We were out for a Memorial Day stroll and thought we'd stop in for a drink and a sandwich. It was our first and last visit. The service was curt. No welcome, no small talk, no helpful suggestions. We were an annoyance. Maybe we just rubbed the guy the wrong way? Nope. We watched two other groups receive the same treatment. The drinks were average to decent. We had the shrimp po-boy and the bun mi. The sandwich flavors were good and bun mi was very spicy, as promised. It was also very light on protein. Ultimately, the location, price, food and drinks weren't good enough to salvage the experience. We closed our tab and found the next round elsewhere. Now we know. read more
