This is the restaurant my husband and I go to every time we want Mexican food and we're never disappointed. Their beef fajitas are the best around. Their guacamole is delicious. And the bartender always makes a tasty. Margarita! Sometimes they may get large groups of league, baseball players or other groups in there that can get a little loud, and the acoustics aren't the greatest. But the staff is very accommodating if you ask to be seated away from the larger groups that can be a little louder than others. The weight staff here is always very nice and very fast and very efficient. They bring out two different sauces, a hot red sauce and a creamy green sauce and they're both great. And the chips are always fresh and flavorful as well. And if you love flan, I highly recommend it because theirs is really good. read more

My colleagues and I love this place. We came during lunch on a Friday. It wasn't too busy, and we were seated and serviced quickly. There is a lunch menu, available from 11am to 3pm. Ambience was festive, but quiet enough to have meaningful conversations without yelling. Food came fairly quickly for our party of 6. I had the Fajita Chimichanga - the chicken version. For beef, it's $2 more. It was quite a big log for the price, with a crunchy multi-layered outer shell, and tasty well-seasoned chicken inside. Definitely one of better ones that I've had. The people were nice. The chips are really good. They serve a red salsa and a green salsa. Neither are spicy, it would be nice to add one spicy option, but you could request jalapeños. I had a frozen margarita, and it was fantastic- not too sweet. The refried beans are not vegetarian, which isn't ideal, but I appreciate the waiter letting us know so we could substitute the black beans. If you're ever in Spring you must check out this small yet surprisingly delicious dive style Tex-Mex Restaurant. Service was excellent, they greeted us at the door as we walked in and sat us down quickly. We were there for a late lunch and just missed the lunch special which ended at 3 pm. We were 9 min too late. Nonetheless, the regular menu pricing was reasonable and slightly less expensive than most comparable Tex-mex restaurants. The tortilla chips were made in house and were super fresh and served with one green and one red salsa. I ordered the Birria Taco plate which came with three Beria tacos, consommé, Spanish rice, avocado, fresh, cilantro, and fresh, sweet onions. It was one of the best that I've ever had and the reason I say that is because normally most other restaurants, don't take the extra care and give you sweet onions they just give regular yellow onions which are more pungent and bitter tasting than sweet onions. Their Spanish rice was more moist than other Tex mex restaurants and you could really taste the chicken broth in their Spanish rice. My husband ordered the Supreme burrito which he said was huge and tasty, the mole sauce they used was excellent! The ambience was a typical of a Tex Mex restaurant. One of the worst restaurants I've been to in a while in regards to food. The service was nice and speedy enough. Ambiance is nice for watching a game at the bar with some friends. Would give this place a solid 3 stars if it wasn't for the food. The enchiladas were flavorless and boring, but the fish tacos were the worst fish tacos I've ever had. I generally love this place but their current practices over COVID leave much to be desired. No one, not even employees, is wearing a face covering or gloves. People are standing all around the take out table, near each other, and without masks. I was the only one in a group of 8 wearing a mask. Employees are interacting close together, again, with no face covering. Many people were dining in, meeting friends, etc and no one was paying attention to distancing. I was pretty shocked. I am from another state that hasn't even opened things up yet but has very strict requirements on how it will occur. One of the better Tex-Mex restaurants in the Spring/Woodlands area. I've tried several of their items including the Birria Tacos, Puffy Tacos, street tacos, tortas, flautas, fried fish tacos, enchiladas, and Mexican pizza. My favorite is their street and fish tacos. For the street tacos, I usually go for the carnitas and Al pastor. Both are super flavorful and the char on the Al pastor is terrific. I love the fried fish tacos. They are exquisite. It's super crispy, well seasoned, and has a nice sauce topped on it. It goes incredibly well with their corn tortilla, which resembles a flour tortilla texturally, but I suspect it's because they make the tortillas in-house. I love the complimentary chips and salsa as well. We go here at least once a month and never regret it. Service is solid, not great or bad. It's as expected, but I definitely come for the food. I highly recommend for small and large groups. 10/10 in my book! read more

This place is a hidden wonder. It was recommended to me by my coworkers, and now I am hooked! Everything I have tried has been great! The chips and salsa are awesome! The green salsa is amazing (I always have to ask for more), and the food is downright tasty! My favorite thing to order at lunch is the chicken ranchero soft tacos. You can't beat the price and they are always tasty, especially with the green salsa on top. The taco plate is also a winner in my book, which I am attaching a photo of. The service is always friendly, and I have never had a bad experience. I have eaten here probably 15 times so far. My wife and I have been coming to this particular location weekly for a long time now. This was by far our favorite establishment to eat. Tonight however changed that for us. We arrived around 5pm and noticed our friends were seated and eating. The restaurant was loud and all employees were doing a "birthday celebration" at a table. The music was so loud we could not even talk across the table to our friends. We had to flag down a waiter to even take our drink order and then had to flag down him again to take our food order. They were not even that busy this evening but were so worried about playing extremely loud vulgar music so loud our Apple Watches warned us... A "shot song" was played and boy was it ever loud and very unpleasant to hear the lyrics. You can browse them in my photo. At the end of our horrible experience, I spoke to a lady that claimed she was the owner and attempted to address my frustration with the loud inappropriate music and I was literally laughed at. Needless to say as much as we have previously enjoyed this restaurant we will never be back. It is very sad as we always bring family and friends there when they are in town. Hopefully they take this to heart and change some processes. If you have children I strongly advise you NOT to take them or they will be exposed to that song and the very inappropriate language that is delivered. read more
