It had been a while since my last visit to La Palma Mexicana 2, but I've always enjoyed this spot. A coworker suggested lunch before school, so we went and beat the lunch crowd. You seat yourself, and the staff quickly brings menus, drinks, and excellent chips with flavorful red salsa. There's also a salsa bar with pico de gallo and extras. I had the La Palma Special with fajita meats--delicious! I've also had their tacos before, always tasty. It's plain inside and there are some TVs on, but you're not here for the aesthetics, you're here for the great food! Great prices, authentic flavor, highly recommended!

It could have been an off day. Perhaps the stars did not align that day for La Palma Mexicana #2. The tacos were not hitting for me. The aftermath of consuming a few tacos was a reminiscence of eating too much Taco Bell with extra Diablo sauce. I also waited quite some time for my eight tacos although the place was quite empty. Again, maybe the stars were not aligning and I would have to time it better next time. The tacos, which I ordered in an assortment of different meats, were very salty and not flavorful. Perhaps the hands on the salt shaker were heavy and the spices not so much. It was rather unpleasant to consume a salt-filled corn tortilla. My partner and I did not finish the tacos which is a first for us in Houston. What was also unusual was that the meats were all dry like it was reheated twice. Despite all this, the tacos were decent-sized and roughly $3.00 per taco. We will turn to horoscopes for a better return next time.

I finally found a place that reminds me of home!!! The tacos here are off the hook.... both corn and flour, but the flour are made in house and ridiculously good. This is our first time here, but we will def be back. We ordered 2 carne asada tacos con aguacate, and a barbacoa taco. sooooo good. tacos come with 2 hot sauces, red and green, and also a third hot sauce is served with home made corn chips when you arrive After having our meal, we ordered 6 more to go. This is my new go to place for tacos ( breakfast or lunch) in Conroe / Woodlands. I asked them what their best dish is and they said: breakfast: chilaquiles, huevos rancheros lunch: beef tacos, menudo, caldo de res try this place you will thank me and write me reviews saying how on point i was. I'd like to say "you are welcome" to your future self. the restaurant is well kept, but not new or fancy. it gets the job done, and the focus is on the food. restrooms were clean.

This was my second visit to this location... Very divey,. Ok... Prices average about 12.00 a plate.. very expensive for what your getting... The chips come in a small bowl.. you can count them.. about 10 total.. home made..no refills of them either.. the food took about 35/45 minutes to come to our table (don't do a fixed schedule lunch break here) but the food was very good!! Tasted home cooked and authentic! Flavor was not typical but unique.. beens and rice were spot on and the Carne Guisada had its own home blend flavor... I would allocate atleast 1.5 hours if visiting here. With the high prices and very long wait, I think equal or better are available within this area... Probably will NOT be visiting again... Just my opinion...

This restaurant used to be really good food and service wise, I used to also visit their other small location off 105. I don't lived in the area, but I would work around the area. After 6 years I decided to leave my Conroe job and right after quitting I decided to take my wife for some tacos so she can finally try them. On top of this I had just find out my closest cousin passed away , but I still went and pick up my taco orders with french fries. Looks like there was a misunderstanding when my wife order "Papas" in spanish. When I picked up my order the owner looked angry and basically said my wife said "Papa" which means Potato. He didn't fix the issue and just walked away from me and said she told me this and that was it, really unprofessional. His wife did try to fix the issue, but with everything going on I just wanted to get out from this establishment, tacos are not even great like they were back in the days. It sucks writing real life event experience, but if you are in this industry the customer should always be right, you need to leave your problems at home and not take it on the customer. I'm happy I will not be giving this restaurant my business anymore.

Best tacos in Montgomery county. From the chips and salsa, to the flour tortillas, to the barilla, to the tacos, everything is amazing

Boyfriend and I ate here on a Wednesday for lunch. Service was extremely fast and very friend. Food was on point, I had been dying to visit one of the La Palma's and it did not disappoint. Their menu is extensive and it looked like the plates were very large portions. The salsa bar was fresh and I did not leave hungry, definitely a great meal to send you to a nap. Will definitely be eating here again

Best barbacoa yet! They mix the onions, cilantro and peppers in while cooking to give a great juicy flavor to the meat!

My wife and I were very intrigued. Basically, Table at Madeley is a very nice food truck park that also has a bar and delivers live music to its customers. We were recently invited out for the evening by another couple who really enjoy going there. This was quite some place! Really nice and very kept up small food truck park with games, indoor and outdoor seating and a great stage for live music. Inside the permanent building was a nice bar with a good selection of adult beverages and non alcoholic item to choose from. We found ourselves a picnic table to sit at near the stage to watch/listen a wonderful live classic style rock band. Shortly after sitting, a waitress came round and asked if she could get us anything to drink. We all enjoyed a few beers, relaxed and listened to the band. Our waitress, Kristen was always there when we needed another drink or had a question. We did notice she provided the same cheerful service to everyone and really hustled in taking care of her many customers. After a while we checked out the food trucks. Mozo's with burgers/fries, Korean BBQ, Vido's Pizza and The Fix by PR which looked to be Mexicanish style food. They all looked good, but we opted for Smash Burgers with garlic fries from Mozo's which were very good, a few more drinks and had a very nice evening. Table really attracts a lot of people and this place seems to be very popular with locals. It is dog and family friendly and everyone seemed to get along and have great time. One thing we did notice is that parking is very limited and you will probably need to park offsite and short walk away. We are looking forward to returning to Table at Madeley very soon for another enjoyable evening.
