It's a breakfast place so I thought they would so had to go next door to get one, I was asked what type of chilaquiles and I said green and she asked if jalapeños or tomatillo which I've never heard off!! I didn't want sour not just jalapeño spicy! So let's see I ended up saying jalapeño Menudo came out and looked very thick but tasted good, but..... yes a but!!!! It's can menudo and I can see it because meat is super hard and the grano is hard to!!! Disappointing my chilaquiles looked good but were disappointing!!! No flavor!!! And chips were not crunchy nor wet enough, they were hard to chew! I dislike when I come eat at a new place and get so disappointed and more when it's my breakfast!!! You just ruined my day!! It's ok. Their breakfast items are their most popular. But a breakfast burrito was kinda price at around $8. Regular burrito was $10 but had barbacoa as meat choice which I love. Sadly no barbacoa today though. I asked about the quesabirra and asked whether it was crispy or soft. It's the latter I was told. So I passed and just decided to just try a chorizo and egg breakfast taco. I mean "taco" is in the restaurant name. The menu doesn't have prices. It's $3.25 with cash. If using card the 3% card fee is passed to the customer so it'll be higher than cash. They got green salsa which is japapeno based. And red which she said wasn't spicy. I got the red because like "taco" the phrase "red salsa" is literally in the restaurant name. The taco was ok. No wow for sure. Same with the salsa but it does have a slight kick. We finally made it here. After many people have recommended us come check it out. Pozole is so delicious, haven't found a good Pozole and can't wait to come back and try menudo. Had a taco(carne Asada) and it was the perfect street taco. So good. Then came the flautas. Chicken was so good on the inside and perfectly crisps! 10/10 recommend! The place is small so not great for big parties but definitely take it to your party. Service is great. When you order she made sure to check if we needed a drink. They now close at 3pm, with no notice. We got there (hours on the door still remain saying they close at 8pm) at 3pm and a lady told us she was closing already. It was very annoying to not see any notice of this anywhere, not even on their door. Her letting us know outside the restaurant, seemed unexpected because it didn't even feel official. We drove several miles to go there, we hadn't been there in a long time because it is far. This time I decided I would give it a try. To have a taqueria close at 3pm sounds ridiculous to me! Maybe food is not that good, and maybe they don't have enough customers to justify keeping the restaurant open in the afternoon. I don't think I would come back here! read more

Ahhhh. I do enjoy Red Salsa Tacos when it's good. Let me explain. The food is fresh, so it takes time. The taquitos are delicious, as well as their chips & salsa. My family and I order breakfast tacos from them from time to time. I used to order every weekend, but then there was inconsistencies. Sometimes the potatoes would be half cooked. Other times there'd be egg shells in my taco. It's really hit or miss, but I do keep giving them a try. What can I say, I love breakfast tacos. Location is small and parking is limited. Staff are not friendly. Whether in person or via phone. Many times if calling to place an order ahead of time, you have to call several times because they don't answer. I would like to share the experience I had at Red Salsa Tacos and More. They make the world's best-grilled jalapenos, and their taquitos are so delicious. My son loves their chicken quesadillas. I was looking for a decent place that served tacos to celebrate Taco Tuesday and to meet up with a business friend. Red Salsa Tacos and More popped up in my Yelp feed and so I ventured to suggest this hole-in-the-wall taco joint on The Woodlands southern border. Sandwiched between a vape store and a doughnut shop in corner gas station strip shopping center, this joint doesn't disappoint. I ordered the five taco plate with corn tortillas. The plate comes with a variety of meats. I choose carne asada, al pastor, barbacoa, and carnitas. (I got a double carne asada, for those who are counting.) My friend ordered the five taco platter too with carne asada only. He grabbed a coke from the refrigerator and pointed out that it was coca cola from Mexico with real cane sugar. (Coke with cane sugar is the best in my opinion.) I refrained from drinking so I could appreciate the flavor of the food more. The place is a little sparse in its accommodations. They might be able to seat 20 people tops. So be forewarned. Don't take the whole office for tacos. The tacos came out in about 10 minutes. The salsas, which vary in intensity are found on a table against the wall. I enjoyed the red and the habanero salsa. The former has a sweet kick, so consume at your own risk. :) The flavor was rich and reminded me of eating tacos from a street stand in Mexico City. The tortillas were warmed properly. You can tell because they don't break with you fold them. They tasted like home with a slight earthy flavor from the masa. This taco joint is one of the best in the area. I will come back over and over. Although this place might garner five stars from many I still see that there can be improvements made, and that is the only reason why I will hold off on the fifth star and give it a solid FOUR STARS. I tried this spot for the first time today and was pleasantly impressed. I ordered the quesabiria tacos on flour, a side of charro beans, and an order of chips and green salsa. The charros were okay but the rest of the meal was awesome. The quesabiria tacos were delicious and the consommé that was served with it was really flavorful. The green salsa was spicy and served with fried chips (you know, the more durable ones. Not the thin, store bought ones that fall apart easily). Tacos Al Pastor - end review. No honestly this place is on point with their Tacos Al Pastor. Great tasting, loaded me up on fresh cilantro and white onions, on top of a soft flour tortilla. No salsa needed at $1.99 a piece (and this is for any taco and type of meat). Salsas are good though, obviously you would hope so given their name. Green salsa has a kick and its delicious. Look, I've never owned a restaurant but it seems that there are a few foundational pillars: 1) Delicious, hot food; 2) A manageable menu to ensure that food can be prepared fresh, quick and consistent; 3) A clean and comfortable environment; 4) Great service. Red Salsa checks all of the boxes. The cashier walked us over to the drink area and showed us all of the sauce/salsa varieties that are available in cool little jars. The food came quick. Our table was pre-bussed. The owner stopped by with his son to thank us for coming in and told us a little about the breakfast offerings. Oh, and most importantly the food was Delicious!
