Came to town for a quick trip and needed to catch a bite to eat. sat at the bar and the bartender crafted a great skinny marg (I told him I don't like them sweet). Tried this restaurant today with my neighbor. We were seated and began to look at the menu. I thought it looked a bit overpriced, but thought if it's good, it will be worth it. The chips and salsa came out along with the drinks. Chips had a rancid grease taste, not very good. I ordered a "special" lunch dish which included a taco, a cheese enchilada, rice and beans. Almost 12.00 for it. The taco arrived in a premade taco shell that fell apart as soon as you picked it up! The taco shell tasted crappy like the chips! Just gross. The refried beans were poured out onto the plate. So thin and unappetizing looking. They tasted good though. The enchilada was normal looking however a little flat. There was much to be desired! Then, we asked for our checks. We waited and waited. Finally, when we had to look around and make eye contact again with them, finally someone came over and said their computer was down. That's all! No options, no back up plan, no nada! I had to give a 20.00 bill just to get the hell out of there. Leaving the waiter an almost 5.00 tip which was wayyyyyy over paying him! I will never set foot in there again! Don't. Waste your money! There are so many good Mexican restaurants that aren't rip-offs! read more

They were also very generous in their portions every side you could imagine that would be needed and we had more than enough! We're new to the area. So we thought we'd try a new little restaurant. The curbside server was nice and the timing was fast. We got home and our order was incomplete. People are human and mistakes happen but the person we contacted over the phone was unprofessional. Proceeded to call me a liar. Why would I lie about my food. Definitely wouldn't go back due to getting incomplete orders and poor customer service. MY husband went back and the person called him a liar. They also asked if baby snatched my food. Chips and salsa are what make a tex mex place to me. If the chips and salsa isn't good then it sets the tone for the whole meal. Well this place chips and salsa set a tone alright. A bad tone. The chips were stale and the salsa tasted like enchilada sauce with some extra pepper in it and some cilantro added on top for color. Seriously the worst. This is a renamed Mi Tierra. It's the same management, the same staff and the same food. I liked this place and was worried when it didn't show up on yelp. I drove by and they have a sign out front that the only thing that changed was the name. I went in and they were telling the truth. Same as always. Great food and service. I suggested to my server that the owners should grab the reviews on yelp to maintain continuity. We'll see. This is all I can do. read more

We are building in the area and tried the local Mexican food place and was surprisingly impressed!!! The first time we tried it the service was great & food was amazing. We were so impressed that when we brought my in laws to see the house, we brought them to eat at Frontera's. We went Good Friday, April 2nd 2021 approximately 12:30ish. The food was still AMAZING..... however, I have never been so embarrassed by the service. We had a table of 5, a waitress (not our server) came to fill my water, my wife asked if she could have a refill of her tea. The waitress then stated "I will refill them all DONT WORRY ABOUT IT ". I was surprised by her reaction but let it go. Our food came and our actual waiter asked if we needed anything. I then asked if I could have more salsa. He pointed to my in laws bowl of salsa and said... you still have some on the table , do you still need more in a (condescending voice) so I used my In laws salsa. Not the end of the world, but rude all the same. Last, my My Brother in law ordered Sopapillas and when our waiter brought them to the table, the waiter asked if there was anything else he could get us. My Brother in law said maybe a little more honey. The waiter pointed to the bowl and said you already have a lot of honey do you need more??? AGAIN in a condescending voice. The food is amazing but the service WILL KILL THIS BUSINESS! Hopefully the owners care enough about their restaurant to fix this problem. read more

Love the beef fajita nacho plate. Beef fajita good here. Enchilada plate also good. The tostadas with no meat is very fresh and good during this heat we got going outside. Staff super nice and attentive. The salsa is a good spicy salsa the best you probably have in this area. A hidden gem of you like Michelada's (good spicy) this is a very good mix you can always say no Clamato (tomato juice) but if you don't like that hint spice than the Clamato will tone down the spice a lot. I do like the new TVs placed in. As other places tend to be overly crowded during sport games and long waits this one remains at good pace. read more

This place has gone downhill since the name change. Used to be good when it was Mi Tierra. The food now seems cheap and made us sick. We had enchiladas, fajitas beef and chicken and empanadas. My wife didn't even eat an entire empanada b/c it tasted that bad. Will not be going back. read more

Went in for Brunch and was not impressed. Service was horrible and food was mediocre at best. Only good thing we got served was the fresh tortillas.
