    Shrimp Stuffed Jalapenos

Food looks better in pictures but doesn't taste good as it looks.. ordered the red snapper and not a fan.. no flavor! The rice is mid but everything doesn't taste seasoned.. definitely won't be ordering here again not worth $21.99+ The shrimp stuffed jalepenos were the only thing I'd recommend that's 4/5

In Texas - the Tex-Mex competition is fierce. Everyone has a favorite. This place just bumped my previous favorite from its perch and became current favorite. TLDR: Thar food, those ritas. This place has become my most recent go-to when that little voice says - "pssst....Dave....Dave....i know you hear me....you want fajitas." Admittedly, I hear that voice a lot. In any case, I usually order the fajitas. They give you a decent quantity that tastes great. The meet is tender and flavorful and those tortillas had me at hello. I love this stuff! My son elects to go for the cheese enchiladas. I don't have to ask him how much he likes them because is a super picky eater and this is the one place where he actually cleans his plate. The margaritas are solid as well and when you glance around the restaurant, you'll see them on most tables. This place is a well oiled machine. There are plenty of staff and they all work unison to bring drinks / chips / salsa / refills / orders / food -- and that food usually comes out before I can feel guilty for eating chips, salsa, and queso. I found this trick that works for me. Since I 100% of the time feel guilty for leaving the place feeling so full, I started parking on the other end of the parking lot. This allows my to burn off 2.7 calories of the food that just ate so I feel 2.7 percent less guilty. On a serious note - this place is the real deal. While some of my previous favorites have either closed down or gone downhill a bit - Julio's has remained strong. ¡Salud!

I had a good experience at Julio's Mexican grill. The food was good and the lunch specials were great! I got a lot of food for the price I stopped by Julio's on a weekday for lunch. I'm lucky I got there a bit early because it got packed quick!! Although I see why - the lunch deal was great. I got a chimichanga. It was so much food!! The flavor was ok, pretty one note, but that's what I ordered :) I liked the refried beans and chips + salsa. No complaints from me. Service was a bit slow - however our server noted that they were a bit understaffed. Bathroom and interior were all clean and nice. Plenty of parking Overall, good experience, no complaints

Very good food! Birria tacos were delicious and so was the carnitas. The serving size was great for the price. Service was fast and friendly during the lunch rush.

The food was delicious! I ordered the Mahi Mahi tacos and they were on point. My spouse ordered the tamales and there was nothing left on his plate. From the outside it looks small, but much bigger inside. Clean restrooms and friendly staff. However our waiter took a bit of time to take our order and it wasn't busy. However overall great food and would recommend if you're craving Mexican food!

Great breakfast tacos on the brunch menu! Amazing drinks. I appreciate that they let me substitute the floater for a liquor I preferred. Polite servers as well. Clean bathrooms.

    Fajita Chicken Supreme Nachos

Julio's Mexican Grill - A Solid Tex-Mex Spot in the Houston Area Overall Rating: 4.5/5 Julio's Mexican Grill (with popular locations in Magnolia and Spring, Texas) is one of those reliable neighborhood Tex-Mex joints that hits the spot when you're craving bold flavors, generous portions, and that classic sizzling fajita vibe. It's not trying to reinvent the wheel--it's straightforward, fresh, and consistently delicious, with a menu rooted in authentic touches from regions like Michoacan and Yucatan. The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, service is usually quick and welcoming, and the margaritas (especially the swirls or specialty ones like the Voodoo) are a standout--strong, tasty, and perfect for washing down the heat. I recently stopped in for a quick lunch and went straight for their Supreme Fajita Chicken Nachos (you can often upgrade the standard Supreme Nachos to fajita chicken for a small upcharge). If you're a nacho lover like me, these are an absolute winner. The base starts with thick, sturdy corn tortilla chips that hold up beautifully under the mountain of toppings--no soggy disasters here. They're layered with creamy refried beans, a blanket of melted Monterey Jack (or cheddar blend), and tender, juicy grilled fajita chicken that's perfectly seasoned with that smoky char from the grill. Then come the classics: fresh lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños for a kick, a dollop of cool sour cream, and creamy guacamole on the side. Sometimes you'll get grilled onions and peppers mixed in if it's a true fajita-style upgrade, adding that extra sizzle and sweetness. What elevates these nachos to "supreme" status is the balance--everything is fresh and plentiful without feeling greasy or overwhelming. The chicken is the star: moist, flavorful, and not dried out like you get at some chains. The cheese pulls in all the right ways, and the portion is huge (easily shareable or a full meal on its own). Paired with their house salsa (mild or hot--go hot if you dare) and queso for dipping, it's pure comfort food bliss. At around $12-15 depending on the upgrade, it's a steal. Minor nitpick: On busier nights, the kitchen can get slammed, so the chips might cool off a bit by the time they hit the table if you're not diving in immediately. But that's rare, and the flavors more than make up for it. If you're in the Magnolia/Spring/The Woodlands area, Julio's is worth a visit (or delivery--they nail takeout too). The fajitas are legendary, the tortillas are homemade heaven, but those Supreme Fajita Chicken Nachos? They're my new go-to order. Highly recommend--your taste buds will thank you!

    Supreme chicken burrito!

Yassss! Finally found a decent Mexican restaurant in The W and Spring area. I had to pick up my orfer and to my surprise when I got home, I said jackpot!!! I found the spot! My burrito looked so good and huge. It had enchilada sauce, burrito and it was enormous. Just like how we like it back home in CA. I will definitely go back for more and to try other things. I'm a happy camper.

    Chimichanga

First time coming here and it was solid. I would highly recommend the flautas, they were delicious. Tacos and quesadillas were good as well. The only downside was the rice. It did not represent authentic Spanish rice or red rice to me. Services was good, friendly, and timely. I would recommend.

Decided to try more Mexican food tonight because well one can never get enough queso. Started with the large chili con queso with chorizo. Very cheesy. Not a lot of chorizo but enough. Chips that came with it were kinda chewy. But the complementary chips and salsa that come before the meal were crispy at least. Got the supreme ground beef burrito and the ground beef enchiladas which both tasted pretty identical except one had flour tortilla and the other corn. Same sauce on top etc. Obviously we should've thought harder about mixing it up a little. They were both ok. For desert we had to try the fried ice cream. Was pretty good. I don't think they deep fry the ice cream in batter like other places. It seemed to just be rolled in corn flakes and came in a deep fried sugar sprinkled cup. We saw a birthday and looks like the staff will dress up in Mario and Luigi outfits and come to your table to sing happy birthday. Pretty hilarious. Oh they have a kids menu and it says kids eat free sundays (see pic)

We went to this place after a soccer game so it was a party of 13! Took over an hour to get our food! Wouldn't say much about this since it was a lot of us but other people would get there and get their food super fast! Like really fast! But hey it's ok no biggie! Big party I understand. The service was good! Our server was on his A game! ! -We had a cheese ball jalapeño stuffed with shrimp! It was good it needs more shrimp - my son liked the torta de fajita - my enchilada expert my daughter didn't like them she didn't finish them- I wasn't a fan of them either- green enchiladas 3/10 Carne asada fries- 7/10 they were good! But please don't add lettuce- lettuce does not go in pico! Lettuce doesn't go in carne asada fries! Tacos de birria 2/10: the consume was not good! The tacos were not good at all! The meat needs to be better quality- carne de deshebrada is not for birria!!! The service was really good and everyone was nice! The reason for the 3 stars not 2 is because of the drinks !! The drinks were good !! This place is a 2.5/5

Where I called the restaurant and she refunded and sent me a picture.

I stopped here for a quick meal with my daughter. As you can see, we only ordered 3 items which totaled $18.37 and I left an even $4 tip. However, as you can see once I checked my transactions, they had changed my tip and my total was $37.07. I called back 2 days later and the same person who waited on us, answered the phone. She obviously remembered me and says it wasn't on purpose, it was an accident. I guess it's easy to add an extra $14.70 tip to the even $4 I left. I informed her I wanted to speak to the general manager, and she provided me the phone number. I will not be returning to this location at all, the service was ok but the fact that they are so untrust worthy has ruined any chance for me going back. Plus, the outside and the restrooms needed a hard clean. Check your final receipt

And every single time it is so good. Best margaritas in town for sure. We also always get queso, the fajita is there so much that we used to get the fajitas for two and now we just got them for one because there's so much meat and the onions and peppers and you just can't go wrong at this place! Most importantly, get a margarita, the mango margarita I don't like frozen margaritas so I can get mine on the rocks usually rimmed with Tajin. The other cool thing is all of the servers expediters they help each other. I've been in the restaurant business a long time. Nothing in my eyes for front of the house then to have everybody working as a team. And if you stop someone, that's not your server and ask for something they just get it for you. Definitely try this place if you're in town. You won't regret it.
