    Brownie with ice cream

We made a reservation at Jack's for our wedding anniversary earlier this week and were so happy we did! They had us set up at a nice table with cute little anniversary signs and the hosts mentioned it as well. We ordered cocktails and food pretty quickly, the cocktail was tasty and I couldn't wait to try the food. I ordered the wagyu filet with the lobster add on, and mashed potatoes. My husband ordered the spicy shrimp and lobster linguini. Everything was So damn good. Some of the best filet I've ever had! We ordered a little dessert as well, a brownie with their homemade Ice cream and sauce and after dinner coffee. So tasty! The service from our waitress was great and everyone we came across were so friendly. Prices were decent and fair too. Definitely recommend this place to anyone celebrating a special event or night out!

Made reservations for a Friday night and upon arrival and to our delight the reservation desk was running behind. We got a table upstairs which is usually first come first serve. The food was amazing. My date ordered a couple shrimp appetizers and I had the seafood risotto. His pecan crusted and coconut shrimp were yummy and my entree was delicious. If you are sensitive to noise, try to sit upstairs! Wait staff very nice and took good care of us. The vibe was relaxed and pleasant.

You just gotta love a good birthday dinner celebration. I requested at the time of the reservation for booth seating if available. When we got to the restaurant the hostesses let me know the only booth seating would be on the upstairs..:we threw caution to the wind and went for it. The upstairs turns out to have its own second bar and the booth and table was just perfect. Our waiter Vince was entertaining but just a tad too braggadocious and winded for us at times. We started off with a round of very well made cocktails. For appetizers we shared French onion soup and their top flight sashimi plate. The French onion soup was on point but coming from Southern California the sashimi had a wonderful presentation but was the one thing on this night that fell flat in the taste department. For our entrees we all went with the wagyu steaks champion style. We ordered and shared the poblano Mac and cheese and the Asian Brussels sprouts as our sides. This meal was as good as it gets. For dessert we did the three dessert platting and sang happy birthday. Jacks on pearl has a higher price point but knowing that going in know you will get a fine satisfying meal here for any occasion. Thank you Yelp family of reviewers helping me find a great restaurant for a birthday dinner in a town I had never stepped foot in before.

This was one of the best meals, and the only reason why I'm giving it four instead of five stars is because of a little hiccup we had at the beginning. We were on time for our reservation, but the restaurant said our table wouldn't be ready for 30 minutes. There wasn't a whole lot of apology there. They ushered us upstairs to the bar area to wait (and buy drinks). A comped glass of champagne, or maybe a comped appetizer or dessert would have gone a long way and would have been the level of service we'd expect from a nicer, pricier restaurant such as Jack's. Obviously, that didn't happen. When we finally got our table, the evening did improve. Despite the less than stellar beginning, the rest of the evening was quite delightful. Service at our table was absolutely impeccable. We enjoyed the sashimi trio, and I get why Jack's makes a big deal out of their fish. The fish was so buttery and flavorful! The French onion soup was piping hot and full of all the classic flavors you'd expect. The Kansas City ribeye was more on the rare side of medium rare, but I actually didn't mind that. The meat was juicy and tender. Surprisingly, the French dip sandwich was probably our favorite over the steak. They use prime rib, and it is a standout. When your server tells you that of all the things the staff can pick for their shift meal they pick this sandwich, then you know you have something special. Finally, we ended the night with the chocolate chip cookie, as recommended by our server. It's definitely more of a skillet cookie, but without the skillet. Super soft and chewy and paired perfectly with housemaid ice cream. All in all, the meal was fantastic, and despite how the night started, we enjoyed ourselves. We'll likely be back.

Very nice, classy restaurant. Service was pretty good . As far as food , few things were great while others were lacking. We ordered coconut shrimp . I would prefer them crispier. Sushi roll that we ordered had overcooked rice . It was way too mushy . Steak , however, had a nice sear and good seasoning. It was delicious. Fries were tasty too, crispy and hot . Salad was fresh and delicious. We also ordered French boule . It was very tasty and garlic butter was great! I didn't care much for the ice cream dessert. Apparently made in house but it didn't taste any better than store bought vanilla ice cream. It was very sweet too. Overall it was a good experience . I'm not certain I would return for a pricey dinner knowing other restaurants with slightly better food.

I'd most likely give them a 4.5. The staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu/ordering. The restaurant was also nice and very clean. It was just really loud inside. The food was pretty tasty. The sushi was the only let down because the rice was overcooked so everything was just a bit mushy since it was all the same texture. The steak however was the highlight! Cooked really well with a great sear. Pricey place but they had quality ingredients and overall good food.

Wagyu ribeye, Chilean sea bass and crispy Brussels sprouts

Neat surprise to discover this place after it's already been open for a couple of years just south of us. Very much liked our server Kevin and the hip ambience. Liked the food but not "as good as it gets." Sprouts were tasty but too greasy. Their wagyu ribeye steak--which they called their signature dish--had excellent flavor, but, and I know it was the ribeye so fattier than other cuts, just too much gristle and fat on it for us. I thought the Chilean sea bass was excellent, along with another "but", ... not a huge fan of the pea sauce on which it was served. That said, absolutely loved the arancini app and we'll definitely return. Good vibes, good food and good service are things to be appreciated and we'll give ourselves another try of it down the road. In the meantime, if we were going to be in town over NYE it would be a place we'd think about for a special way to say goodbye to 2025. Have fun, and be safe. Happy New Year to you all, David M

The moment we told them we were there for restaurant week they seemed to change how they served us. The food was okay but I don't think it was worth the price. The drinks were very good. They put us upstairs, it was much quieter than the room downstairs.

Came to Jack's on Pearl Street for early evening drinks with friends and snagged a walk-in table on their patio without a wait at 5 PM on a Friday. Perfect summer vibe - relaxed but lively. The Triple Combo Sashimi (Otoro, Bluefin, Salmon) was the star - buttery, fresh, and worthy of its People's Choice Award at the 2024 RARE Steak Competition. Cocktails were just as impressive. The Ghost of Paradise might be my new favorite drink in Denver - tropical, balanced, and dangerously easy to sip. The Shore Fire was crisp, refreshing, and had just the right chili heat. Great food, inventive drinks, and excellent service. Ask for Ryan - he's the best. What I ordered: Triple Combo Sashimi* (Otoro, Bluefin, Salmon) - People's Choice Award Winner, RARE Steak Competition 2024 Ghost of Paradise - 4 Year Rum, Passionfruit, Coconut, Lime, Agave, Mint (clarified with dairy) Shore Fire - Green Chili Infused Vodka, California Aloe, Anjou Pear, Lime, Celery Bitters, Cucumber

The service was top notch. The environment was casual classy. I had a great time dining here the food was exceptional. The circus Brussels sprouts were a bit crispy ,next time I know to make a request for them not to be as crispy but they were good. Servers are very attentive familiar with the menu and provide service with a smile. I will be back.

HOLY COW!! If I could give this place 6 stars I would. I don't say this lightly. This is probably one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Top 3 for sure. If you're in the Denver area and are thinking about trying this restaurant, YOU HAVE TO! I was in town for business and decided to stop in this place after looking in Yelp. We came to the restaurant on a Friday and when we got here it was popping. After waiting for a while we got sat and were greeted by our very friendly server Shawn. He had awesome energy the entire dinner and was on point. We ordered a SPREAD! A ton of appetizers, main entrees and sides. Nothing and I do mean nothing was bad. Some of the highlights: Appetizers: were the hummus was incredible and so was the sushi Mains: our waygu steaks were perfect Sides: Duck fat fries, corn, mac and cheese were all amazing. Dessert: get the bread pudding, it's worth every calorie To top it all off this place has amazing decor. This is a must stop while in Denver!

I went with the Burger in a Bowl and added blue cheese. Now let's talk about that... They don't do the "light sprinkle" thing here. They pile it on, and as someone who appreciates bold flavor, I was all in. The burger itself was cooked well and had great flavor throughout. It comes with steak fries, and I specifically asked for them well done... unfortunately, they didn't quite hit that crispy finish I was hoping for. Not a deal breaker, but worth noting. Between the atmosphere, the variety on the menu, and a really solid burger, this is absolutely a place I'd come back to if I lived nearby.
